Had their new farmhouse salad– highly recommend. Fresh food and all salads were 5 $ today!

The workers there are the most miserable people you will ever work. Very stingy for a 9 dollar salad too.

I came in one day to order a couple of salads for my girlfriend and me. I thought that this would be a healthy lunch option. I suppose I initially thought that the place would have a variety of greens such as kale and arugula. In reality, they only have spinach and an iceberg/romain mix. The options for salads aren’t very original — basic stuff like Caesar and Greek. The toppings to select are equivalent to a basic salad bar and building a salad is done subway style. The iceberg mix wasn’t fresh. I found it ridiculous that a place specializing in salad had wilted lettuce. To add insult to injury, the woman serving me wasn’t friendly in the least bit. In addition, as others have mentioned, they are not very cheap for what you get. They are stingy with the toppings. The total price was 19 $ without drinks.

Over priced paid $ 11.00 for a BLT and tea, the BLT had one slice of bacon cut in half two tomato slices a leaf of lettuce! I called and all the person said on the phone this it was portion controlled! I will never go back!

Today was my first visit to this restaurant. When I walked in I was excited because the menu is really great, the food however was not so great. I had the pick 2 which consisted of soup and a half sandwich. I’m glad I did the pick 2 because at least I only had a half order. The tomato basel soup was NOT soup. It was marinara sauce. It should be saved to put over pasta where it would be much better. The soup was not even luke-warm, it was tepid at best. At least it didn’t have meat or a meat base or I would have been at serious risk of food poisoning due to the temperature of the soup. The sandwich was the real disappointment. I ordered the caprese Panini. Typically I love caprese… anyway you serve it! This however was greasy with the ingredients sliding off the bread. I said BREAD… not cibotta bread or a roll, straight-up out of the bag from the grocery store white bread. The bread had been browned but it wasn’t crispy it was soggy. It was the most sub-par Panini that I’ve ever had in a restaurant. As I said, I wanted this place to be great. Its close to work and would help add another option to the lunch menu. Unfortunately I won’t be going back, this place is definitely not Panera or San Francisco Soup Kitchen.

Great healthy option. I like variety in my lunch… better salad for less then the full serve places. Fresh produce is a plus… they seem to be making some people changes… looks like it

While they have many choices, everything was rather ordinary and prices quite high. Next time I go for soup and salad, I will choose Panera, Grand Traverse Pie Co. or Olive Garden! All have better soups and salads.

I was looking forward to trying this place, but left disappointed. The staff was friendly. However, the service was very slow and they seemed unorganized. They have a Greek salad… but no Greek dressing. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before ordering one here. Hopefully in time Saladworks will improve. I think it’s an excellent concept.

Mediocre at best. Lame ass salads, wilty stale ingredients. Fine in a pinch, but really not any better than a Subway or your standard fast food salad shop.

Salad was good. Aside from the young lady that rang me out, the customer service left me with much to be desired. I ordered a Greek salad but then learned that hey didn’t have anything remotely close to Greek dressing. But other than that great lunch option.

Nice selection of salad toppings. Soup was ok. I had the soup and salad and my bill was over 10 bucks, which I thought was a little expensive for half salad and a half cup of soup. Would possibly return but would not go out of my way.

If you want a healthy portion– find a salad bar. You will not leave full.

Stopped here on a whim during a shopping trip. They had a $ 6 salad special, sooooo why not? It’s a very clean and modern looking restaurant(kind of like all those froyo places that were popping up a few years ago), and they operate in an assembly line manner, like Chipotle or Subway. We went during the lunch rush, so there was a long line, but it wasn’t a terribly long wait. Lots of pre-designed salad options(or you can create your own), plus a nice variety of yummy-looking sandwiches. I decided on the Garden Salad with the Green Goddess dressing and was quite impressed. And while salads aren’t exactly the most filling meals out there, I left satiated enough. My only complaint is that their lettuce salad base is a romaine/iceberg mix. I realize that’s probably to cut costs, but… iceberg? Gross. Anyway, I had a pretty good experience here and am eager to come back.

Great location and fresh crisp salads! I will definitely be back. The staff was welcoming and our salads were made quickly. Prices were great too! Nothing beats a perfect salad for $ 6!

Great location! Great food. And Avery nice staff. Not sure about five guys poster if he thinks five guys grease burgers and greasy fries are better then Saladworks he might be a little bit confused on what«food» is! Just smell the grease from 5 guys! I for one love saladworks.

I ordered a Cobb salad and chicken tortilla soup. The soup was watery and bland. The salad was mediocre. The chicken on it was dry and tasteless. «America’s Best Salads» is their logo. I strongly disagree and will NEVER be back. Worst $ 11 I have ever spent. Next time I will go to Five Guys next door!

My family & I visited recently for lunch, to try something new… both figuratively and literally. As this place is new to the GR food scene. I really enjoyed the presentation of the gourmet salads right out in front of the toppings window, so that you can clearly see exactly what’s on each one. They even let you switch out a topping, with something else of their many topping choices, free of charge, if you don’t want something on the gourmet salads. I tried the Fire Roasted Cabo, my wife & son created their own. We all had them mix the dressing into our salads. However, upon eating them, there really wasn’t as much dressing as we’d like, and they really didn’t mix the dressings into them, as well. The bread rolls were fresh, and not hard to tear with your teeth. The pricing however, was a different story. $ 9 for a salad is a bit much. Regardless if it’s a gourmet or not, the prices are a little high end for our liking. And the sandwiches were only .20 cheaper than the salads. It’s a good thing we brought my son a drink, as it would’ve been another $ 2 just for a drink for him. The food was good, but not $ 30 good for 2.5 salads… my son had a kids size. The pricing really put a damper on the overall experience. We will probably be back, but not anytime in the near future. We could go eat at a quality sit down restaurant for cheaper.
