Excellent! Everything was delicious! Rolls are worth the carb overload. Had calzone, aprox $ 7 and cannelloni, aprox $ 7.5. Calzone was HUGE, filled and dripping with with ricotta, mozzarella and sausage. Cannelloni portion was also enormous, stuffed with cheese, spinach and meat. Both were clearly handmade with love. So perfect! Portions so big we took ½ of each home. Service was great and super nice! Definitely looks like an old-time mobster place inside, super cool. $ 20 for 2 to eat dinner(byob). We will absolutely be back. Fantastic.

I absolutely LOVE amores. I eat here about 3−4times a week(I am from Calabria and I love my pasta) and it’s absolutely AMAZING! My recommendations are Baked Ziti and ALL their pizzas! You truly can’t go wrong with anything!!!

Just plain bad. They tried to hide how bad their base food was by using a nasty sauce. The service was slow though friendly.

We came here tonight with a few friends while on a weekend getaway in Grapevine. This little Italian restaurant is tucked into a shopping but center off of northwest highway. Inside, there are a few tables and chairs, but overall, this is one of the smallest restaurants I have been in. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our beverages were always refilled. I ordered the Alfredo with breaded chicken, and my hubby ordered a spicy pasta dish. Each entrée came with a side salad and garlic knots. The garlic knots were good. I still prefer Siciliano’s A Taste of Italy’s garlic knots. But all in all, really good. Because of all of the Unilocal reviews, I ordered the house dressing. It was a too acidic for me, but I liked the flavor. I enjoyed the Alfredo, but it came with grilled chicken instead of the breaded chicken. No big, it was still tasty. And, it wasn’t as heavy as a lot of Alfredo pastas usually are. My hubby enjoyed his pasta, but it was a little too spicy. All in all, this is a hidden little spot with a lot of charm. It is better than Olive Garden and other Italian chains. I would definitely come back and check this place out again.

Our family favorite Italian restaurant. Small, intimate dining area good but not for larger parties. I love the big flavor of all the dishes. Today we started with the garlic bread(I prefer the cheesy version they also have). I had a shrimp and clam linguine in spicy marinara that was awesome. Son loved spaghetti with meatball. The small salads are good with the house dressing. All dishes are large portions at great places. We always come back but this, is the first time I wasn’t too full to leave a review.

I have a quick recommendation for anyone that feels they have received less that stellar service. Call them and explain the situation, chances are they will appreciate you bringing it to their attention.

BYFAR the best italian restaurant I have experienced — and I feel that I’ve experienced my fair share of primo italian — Emeril’s Delmonico not the least of them. That said, while this awesome little place doesn’t sit in the middle of the vegas strip and you won’t likely find hoochie mamas there, the atmosphere is just perfect. It’s quiet, cozy, comfortable, and the hospitality has always been top notch. Al is the boss chef and knows what it means to provide quality, above and beyond dishes and service on all levels. The rolls are unbelievable — made in house and set to rise for hours before being baked… they have a texture not unlike gaucho bread and rather than a starchy filler, they compliment every dish. My favorite is the shrimp gamboretti — seriously — try it. Actually, try everything.

Go here for lunch. It’s a fantastic price. Salad, drink, hot bread and your entrée for $ 6.99 and the service is outstanding. The salad was crisp and fresh and topped with your choice of a dressing. The Italian is tangy and just right for me. Very nice neighborhood restaurant that serves very good food. Seating is prompt and the service is prompt. One entrée is the personal size pizza which you will find delicious and the largest personal size pizza anywhere around. I ordered the meat sauce and pasta and the amount served is huge. This is nto a fancy Italian restaurant, however it is clean and comfortable. Parking just outside the front door. The bread will be cooked for you after you arrive and it is soem of the bast rolls anywhere around. One could make a complete meal just out of the rolls.

The ridiculousness of what I’m about to tell you will not sound like it could happen in real life, but it did. I went to this restaurant one time before the incident I am about to mention. I thought the pizza was good so I brought my family and extended family, a party of 12. 6 of us walked in, and the hostess said they cannot seat incomplete parties(only two other tables occupied in a 15 – 20 table restaurant). We waited patiently for the others to arrive. Meanwhile, the owner also came and asked how many in our party. We said 12 then he raised his voice, «I cannot seat you! Your full party isn’t here!» Startled, we nervously chuckled at the misplaced intensity of the comment. When my aunt opened the door to look out to see if the rest of our party was walking up he shouted, «Close that door! You’re letting air out! Have you ever been to a restaurant!!!». At this insult, we let him know how sincerely disrespectful to his potential customers he was being, while he defended his rudeness. The waiter standing next to him looked at the floor. I couldn’t believe he would treat customers this way. Inevitably we took our party of 12 and left. It is hard for me to believe we are the only ones who have been treated this way by him, but obviously so because of all the 4 and 5 star reviews. All I can say is, I will not be back and cannot encourage others to go. It’s a shame.

Had been wanting to try this place for quite a while. Service was friendly but not always attentive. Salads were fresh and lg enough. Rolls were very good, as was the marinara. But, past that was not good. Both the Shrimp Alfredo and Ck Florentine were not tasty… at all. The sauce on my Florentine tasted like old fish water. The shrimp were not good either. Wish it was a better experience. Won’t be back. :(

Good lunch specials, comes with a drink bread, and salad. Check usually comes out to less than $ 10:-) The Alfredo was nice, not too wet or dry. Service was excellent. The bread that comes with the meal was nice and soft. The only downside to the restaurant is that it seems a little dark, not much natural light, might be just me though. :-)

My work«lunch bunch» went here for Friday lunch along with one of my co-workers’ father and husband as special guests. Our total headcount was 10, and our server handled things great. Prior to the salads arriving, we partook of some wonderful garlicky, butter coated rolls. They were substantial but not overly dense, and served with a nice marinara. Delicious stuff! The salads weren’t super fancy, but features small pieces of lettuce and other greens, which made it easier to eat than some salads that have big ol’ chunks. I liked this format a lot. The star of the show for me, though, was my veal piccata. I’ll be honest, it wasn’t the best piece of actual veal I’ve ever had, but it might well be the best picatta sauce I’ve ever had. Striking a great balance of butter, lemon and large capers, it was delicious! Great flavor, great mouth feel, and the spaghetti therein was a perfect al dente. Overall, a very nice dish. My fellow diners reported that their dishes were great as well, though I didn’t sample the others. We’ll be sure to make more trips here in the future.

I have been coming to Amore’s for over nine years now and each time I go it never disappoints. I have ordered all of the lunch specials here as well as their pizza’s, Stromboli’s and salads and each dish is as good as the others. The waitresses are always nice, friendly and accommodating. Their bread rolls with marinara sauce is fantastic. Whenever I order a salad I go with the house dressing because it has such a great taste to it. Also if you want to have extra banana peppers with your salad just ask, they are more than happy to bring it out to you. The pasta is great! I just love the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are the size of tennis ball and just taste great as well as falls apart easily. I also really enjoy their eggplant parmesan. Sooooo good! The pizza is fantastic and is probably one of my favorites in the area. The slices are of a decent size and the crust is made just right. The sauce is average but combined with some garlic and you have yourself a tasty slice of pizza. I have also tried their pepperoni slices. It does get a little greasier but not too shabby. Amore’s is BYOB and is a great location for a date, coworker lunch or just a place to enjoy great Italian cuisine. I always look forward to coming here and bringing new people to experience the greatness of this restaurant. I can’t wait to go back!
