Hand’s down the best steak I have ever had. The only con to the whole experience was the very dry lobster tail we bought for the table to share. Not one person was impressed with it, but the steak and sides completely made up for the lacking seafood.

This was the first time to this location. I had googled some of the best places to eat in grapevine and this was on the top of the list. I would have to agree it’s one of the best places. I booked reservations for my husband’s birthday and listed it on the reservation. Every single person we came in contact with told him Happy Birthday! The general manager ever stopped by just to tell him Happy Birthday! It was definitely an awesome experience for both of us. Our waitress Abigail was amazing too. I know if we go back we will be asking for her again.

Great service and great food. It’s looks like your average fancy steak house, but the dishes I had here were delicious! Definitely worth the money. The best tasting lobster bisque soup I have ever tasted, and their tomahawk steak was totally worth it! Just a fair wanring, come prepared to do some damage to your wallet.

Went to this location for the first time last night(been to the one downtown previously). The service and food were impeccable. As always everything was delicuous… and even thought they got my husband’s and my order mixed up. the promptly took care of i. The manager came to our table immediately apologizing for the mistake(hey it was New Year’s Eve. they were busy and we all make mistakes). I can’t wait to go back!

Took my wife to Bobs for our 13th Anniversary two weeks ago. Started with a house Riesling and salads. I have the scrumptious crab cakes, and my wife had the filet. As usual the carrot was tasty! We finished with a dessert of the best carrot cake ever. Our server was attentive but not overbearing. Will return again!

One of the premier steak houses in the area, always cooked to perfection and great selection of wine. The son just can make it without the rack of lamb and it is great with the mint jelly.

Parking is pretty hard to get with how popular the place is, bit when you manage to find a spot you won’t be disappointed. It’s a bit on the pricey side and has a business casual dress code bit the portions are huge and delicious. You will not regret trying it!

Best steak ever! My hubby brought me here for our anniversary. We arrived early for our reservation so we sat at the bar. They had a stocked bar with a huge variety. There was a fire going in a lounge area so made the restaurant smell of a campfire which to me is a comfortable lovely smell. When we sat down the servers were very attentive and the waitress was especially nice. They served bread right away and had a jar of pickles and peppers already on the table for you to eat. There is a server for pretty much every job; water refills, salads, food, dessert, etc. The waitress asked if we were celebrating anything special and we said it was our anniversary. A while later the manager came over and congratulated us, gave us some advice and told us to save room for dessert because it would be on them! Unexpected and very nice! The food was more than words can say! So amazing! I ordered their special of wagyu beef that came with a choice of potato(mashed, baked, or fried). I got the fried! It also came with a cinnamon glazed carrot also delicious. It was my first time trying wagyu beef and let me tell you it was like butter in my mouth. It had a great seasoning and it just melted as I ate it. By far the best steak I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the Kansas City strip steak which was maybe 15 oz. seasoned well, cooked perfectly and delicious. The dessert we choose was the banana nut rum bread pudding! It was rich and delicate and superb! We also added a scoop of ice on top. I mean why not? This place is pricey and the menu is not extensive; mostly fish and beef. There were a few pork and lamb dishes but not much. The place was busy and had a friendly atmosphere. Attire was flexible. There were people dressed up but there were people wearing jeans and polo shirts. This is a must go to place because it will not disappoint!

Love Bobs Streak and Chop house! Never disappointed! I had the porter house steak and shared with my wife it was more than we could eat. Been here before the KC Cut still my favorite. Lobster bisque has lobster in it. Bread was great! We will be coming back!

Food was ok, but service was terrible and selective, especially if you are not a regular customer. Went there for my birthday dinner, and it took forever about 25 minutes for a server to take our order or at least say hello. She spent more time(taking orders, drinks, social conversations) on the table next to us(regular customers) considering we were seated before them. Finally took our order, waited for a while, before our food was delivered and missing the salad that I ordered. Told her about the missing salad and I thought she had it noted. I asked my family to go ahead and eat their entrée since the steak might no longer be fresh and warm. I patiently wait for 15 minutes while my family are enjoying their food. I told another server about my salad since our server is nowhere in sight and with her regular customers. The other server told us that the order was not placed and promise to get it right away. My family is done with their dinner, my entrée was already cold, and salad came just in time for my daughter to get a dessert. Not happy with that so I politely ask for our check so we can leave right away. It took about 15 minutes to get the check and a while before we could leave. I asked for the manager and they could not find him. Instead, they gave me his business card. As soon as we got home, I called the manager to inform him about our experience. Of course, he defended his server since she has a lot of loyal customers and has been getting good feedback. I guess she draws big amounts of gratuities from these customers. I also wrote an email to the general manager about our experience, but did not get any response at all! So if you are a first timer or maybe someone that does not look like you can afford this place or give good tip, then go somewhere else where you can be welcomed and get great service!

If your looking to get hammered, loud and smoke cigars this is the place for you. We had a party of 6 and it was terrible trying to talk to one another. Our food was good but we all agreed we would not be back. I’ll stick to 3 Forks or Stephan Pyles for a nice evening out with the family!

People, you have to give this place a only gets better the more you go. I switch it out a bit just because everything I have had is just husband sticks to his steak. The bread and soup… o my goodness, its to die for! Then you have to leave room for crème brûlée… and get your own, you do not want to share this! I said it before and I am saying it again… service and food is the best.

Came here to celebrate our anniversary. We made reservations on open table and were seated right away. We had a great waitress who recommended a Pinot Noir red wine by Joseph Phelps. It was very tasty. We had the scallop appetizer, lobster bisque, New York strip steak, and filet mignon. They asked if we were celebrating anything, and when we explained we were, we got a free dessert. We selected the key lime pie with fresh fruit topping. Some of the best food I have eaten. Only thing I didn’t like was the fact they were allowing cigar smokers to smoke around everybody, and not in a designated area. I cannot stand the smell of smoking, don’t care if it is cigarettes or cigars. It would be nice if they had a separate area for smoking.

Fantastic birthday celebration. Great steaks and extensive wine list. We came here to celebrate my dad and my birthday. The wait staff is so attentive. The manager came over to make sure everything was perfect and thanked us for attending. My filet was perfect. My husband had the bone-on filet which was amazing! There was a special on some wine and we ended up getting a bottle at a very reasonable price. We had the bread pudding for dessert which was so amazing! Most certainly will come back!

This place is amazing! Though the prices are expensive, it’s worth it based on the quality of the food. The service is outstanding and definitely recommend trying. The atmosphere is excellent and the food is even better. Servers are very attentive and very rarely aren’t anywhere to be find, they for the most part, are there if you need anything immediately and the turn around time for food and drinks is some of the best that I have seen. Top notch steakhouse!

Took clients here for dinner and found the food and atmosphere to be excellent. Wasn’t so loud that you could not have a conversation, yet the restaurant was completely full. Service was some of the best I have experienced. The servers were very attentive without being intrusive in any way. My only real complaint was being seated next to a few people smoking cigars. It was my own fault. I did not realize that indoor smoking was still permitted in Texas.

Beautiful, traditional upscale steak house. Bob’s has a formal, yet comfortable atmosphere. Attractive with dark walls and dim lighting. The only detractor was the moderate noise level(this place gets busy!), but our group of four was still able to converse comfortably. Our server was so friendly and knowledgeable about the specials, appetizers and the wine list and he added to the overall good vibe of this place(sorry I cannot remember his name!).He was prompt an efficient. Our water glasses were kept full which I fully appreciate. In the center of the table, there is a large glass jar full of pickles that diners can help themselves to. The pickles were delicious and though they seemed random, I thought a nice touch. My steak was cooked to the exact temperature and was perfection. Steaks come with choice of potato which includes choice of baked potato, smashed potatoes or skillet fried potatoes topped with sautéed onions and peppercorn gravy. I chose the baked potato(though, the skillet friend sounded divine). A sever comes by with the butter, sour cream, chives and cheese and adds the toppings to your liking. The steak dinners also come with a glazed carrot(huge!) which had a nice flavor, though seemed unusual(kind of like the pickles, but quirky is fun). All in all an excellent dining experience which is definitely reflected in the cost, but surpassed expectations.

Great chain steakhouse. I think much better deal than a Capital Grille. Place feels similar to a real old school joint. Staff is in white and incredibly friendly. Portions are reasonable for a steakhouse(not skimpy but it is pricey). The Kansas City cut is a good size and very tasty. Baked potato is what you expect. I thought the shrimp cocktail was solid with good size shrimp. The old fashion drink is their weakest item. It definitely isn’t craft cocktail or made from love… Very cookie cutter. Their signature carrot was interesting. Tad sweet but still memorable. I’d come here for business but I don’t expect it to be an unique experience.
