We tried this place out last night and it was a small cute spot on the edge of the main drag in grapevine. They had the doors open so it had a nice patio vibe. Sports were on. The drinks were quite strong. Ordered the Atkins special and it was awesome! We will definitely go back.

Great place to stop for easy burger and beer. Had a nice Bloody Mary and the bartender was very pleasant. Service was good. Food was good. Sports on every tv.

Consistently great burgers with friendly waitstaff and a fun atmosphere. Seem to have expanded their beer selection but maybe they just added it to the menu. Totally awesome fries when they’re served hot but, unfortunately, this seems to be a problem among all their restaurants. Onion rings are also good, but not as good as the fries. This is one of the few chain restaurants I would recommend.

First of all, our waitress was wonderful! Sweet personality, full of energy and very attentive. The restaurant is very clean, even the restroom was sparkling. My unsweet tea was watery, could’ve been a little stronger, but I didn’t come here for the tea, so no big deal. I got the Red steer burger. It was delicious! The hickory sauce made it sweet and I added jalapeños to make it spicy. The onion rings had a semi-sweet batter which made them SOGOOD! I dipped them in ranch. YUM! There are tv’s everywhere, so it would be a great place to watch sports. My husband and I will be back for sure!

Sat at bar and waited to order. Then I waited some more. Then thought I would order a beverage but continued to wait. Decided that waiting was no fun so left. No one ever acknowledged me. Maybe I am invisible.

Seriously haven’t see the waitress in over 20min after the initial“can I take your order?” Got in at 815 on Spring Break Sunday and this place is DEAD… Kids are hungry and I’m pissed. Goin to taco casa or whataburger

I like the atmosphere at Jakes. Good place in the heart of Grapevine. It’s a little pricey for just burgers. Burgers were juicy but I’m not a huge fan of the poppy seed buns. They may have alternate buns and I’ll ask next time. Overall it was a fun experience and the food was good enough to make me try it again. Next time I’ll try during happy hour though.

They offer a fish bowl type of drink and it has Rum in it. I unfortunately do not like rum but the bartender was very accommodating and offered to make it with vodka if I still wanted it. I took her up on it and I appreciated that she was willing to work with me rather than simply saying no and not having me try the fruity goodness. I have been here a few times at all times I have had a drink while there and two of the times we had food. I do not recommend the food there, but the drinks are fun.

First visit to this location and I find it, like the others, a cool place to meet friends for a drink and a bite to eat. A fun atmosphere, full bar, but still a comfortable place for those that are more interested in a casual, restaurant setting. The food is always good — I had the Bacon and Bleu Cheese, which got somewhat messy, but good nonetheless. The place is clean, festive and inviting and the service was fast and friendly. A good landing or gathering place when meeting up with friends in the area.

I saw a table get this huge drink, i’m assuming alcoholic, and it was like a pitcher-size with colorful twisty straws. IDK what that was but I’m jealous! I got a plain ol cheeseburger and some sweet potato fries to share. Next time I need my own fries! They come with marshmallow dipping sauce, taking them from fries to dessert. They were freaking delicious! Don’t miss it!

We love Jakes and have visited all of them around the DFW metroplex. This is our favorite Jakes spot. We visit at least once a week and the service almost always reasonably good. The last two times we have visited the Grapevine location, we have been fortunate enough to have Micah as our server. She is truly a delight. Pleasant, attentive and concerned about the customer experience. Time before last there was a slight issue with our order and I quickly told her it was fine… I didn’t care. Her response was, «I care…» and she promptly corrected the issue. She recognized us immediately on our next visit and even remembered our order. I honestly can’t say enough good things about Micah. I hope that management realizes what an asset they have in Micah. Breakfast and burgers are great… Jakes is one of the few spots I actually get«cravings» for. Service does vary between the locations… we refuse to go to FW after a few times of horribly prepared meals and terrible service.

My Dad and I came here for breakfast on a Monday morning — it is a lot busier at night or for lunch which I have yet to try. It was peaceful in the morning with good music. I was hesitant at first because I have seen how crazy it gets just passing by. But we decided to stop and give it a chance; I am so glad we did! Although there were only a handful of people there and 1 server, she was great and attentive, the food was fantastic, minimal menu but if you are just looking for a breakfast plate I would recommend. Side Note *they had people in there just working on their computers which I thought was convenient since there is not much more opened around there in the morning.

Came in with my family(10 people) for an early(5:15 pm) Mother’s Day burger. Our waitress was very sweet, but very overwhelmed. We started with orders for cheese friends with chives and bacon… Didn’t get the chives. Onion rings, they were really big and crispy. And Jalapeño cap, pretty basic but good. 4 out of the 10 burgers came out wrong! And when dining with my grandparents and autistic nephew this is kinda a problem. We can be a difficult group. Like I said our waitress was super sweet and tried to fix orders. Unfortunately the kitchen took forever!!! My sister ordered the sweet potato fries… Holy smokes! They come with a marshmallow sauce… My grandpa said«those are dangerous»!!! Very tasty! My biggest complaint was the manager should have stepped in and help our waitress out. And the fact he didn’t come talk to us is a major let down. I won’t be back.

This is a pretty good joint. It’s got kind of a blue collar, working class feel to it, but it’s not dive-y. The service is friendly and fast, and there’s good food! My office lunch bunch landed here on a Friday to chow on some burgers. After perusing the menu, I selected the Hot Cowboy burger and some loaded cheddar fries. The fries are clearly trying to emulate those at that storied Dallas tradition, Snuffers. They almost make it, but the texture of the fries and cheese, and overall flavor are not quite up to snuff(ouch). Still, after the application of ketchup, they were decently tasty while they were hot. As for the burger, the bun needed to have been toasted; it was a little too«white bready» for me, but on the plus side, its flexibility did help contain the goods within, which consisted of hickory sauce, double meat, spicy bacon and chipotle cheddar cheese. The double meat isn’t as «double» as you might think, and it could have used a little more seasoning. I’d definitely come here again, but I’d ask for that toasted bun and probably skip the cheddar fries.

Food was pretty good Service was slow Cheddar cheese fries were just ok because the cheese was not high quality We had 2 blt Cheese burger Atkins special It is nice that they have gluten free bread We also had the sweet potato fries with marshmallow sauce which was the best part of the meal If they used more fresh products the food would be much better

I saw that Jake’s had a gluten free bun, so we decided to check it out. The bun was very good! I had a mushroom swiss burger. It was interesting though that we were the only women in the whole place, besides the servers, but maybe that was a fluke. Quick lunch, tastes good, reasonable prices. And it’s on Main Street in Grapevine for a lovely little lunch.

Excellent burgers, great ambiance. For those visiting downtown Grapevine this is a great place to stop for a great burger and a beer. Jakes offers fast service and a very good selection of burgers. Mine was pretty good, well above average. I usually stay away from the cheddar fries, especially if there are no paramedics in the building, but this time they were delicious. Someone on our table called them exceptional. Worth the extra thousand calories? maybe.

If you are looking for a diner style burger then this is your place. The waitress took a whole to come to our table and get drink orders. The amount of alcohol they offered didn’t vary a lot. My husband ordered the cowboy burger and it was a good diner burger. It came with jakes sauce, pico de gallo and Monterrey jack cheese. For an appetizer we got the fried green beans. They were pretty good. Nice and crunchy. I ordered the chicken club. It was good. Overall, the food was food but the service was average.
