This is a wonderful little family-run donut shop. I have been coming here for nearly 20 years, since I first moved to GV/NC back in the late 90’s. The owners are very friendly and polite. They make a huge variety of fresh donuts that are far superior to the mediocre junk ones sold at supermarkets. This shop is open very early in the morning, which makes it nice and convenient to be able to stop in before my long commute to work. Their crumb donuts are like a little piece of heaven. Everything is made fresh and usually still warm if you get there fairly early. I’ll be honest, since I have been coming to this shop, I often judge other shops in other towns against this one, and most do not come even close to how good I think Daily Donut is.

Daily donut is the best! Well known as the best in town to us locals, I don’t know what I would do if they ever closed their doors! Based on first come first serve basis, I can always know their donuts are fresh! My personal favorite is their cinnamon roll! The fritters are pretty good too! The staff are super Kind and I always leave with a smile on my face!

This is a great little family shop. Also, this place is know by us locals to have the best donuts in the entire region. Even though they are small shop, I was recently pleasantly surprised to see that they accept Apple Pay at their business… another plus. If you need donuts or similar pastries in western Nevada County, this is the place to go!

We love this place! The owner is super nice and it’s small businesses like this that stand out in this town. They’re always extra nice to my daughter and I’ll come here as long as my conscience allows me to sneak in an occasional donut.

The man was so nice! I got two donuts and didn’t bring cash so I had to use the ATM. He was super nice and gave me an extra bag of little donuts for the inconvenience! What a sweet gesture!

STAYAWAY from this place!!! The donuts are awful, they taste as if they have been using the same oil forever. I got quite sick after eating just one of their French Crullers and my Spouse did also. We bought a dozen and had to throw them away. I called the shop and told them how we got sick and they basically said«then don’t come back»

Best Apple Fritters in the known world. Okay, I have only been eating Apple Fritters for about 15 years. But I have eaten them all over the West Coast and some other places, too. Daily Donut in Grass Valley has the best I have found. When I drive into Nevada County I get some to eat during my visit, and when I leave, I get some to take home(they freeze well, too). The guys who work there are friendly, and they have good normal donuts, too. But I live for the Apple Fritters.
