Great selection of movies from classic to new. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Delicious local handcrafted toffee. The only downside is their video selection as i understand the boss lady only buys them for a dollar so people don’t trade them in here. It would be great if she offered more since she charges about $ 20 for used games, or maybe a credit reward system!

My family has been renting from Video Library for about 18 years now and would recommend them to anyone looking for a video rental store. Their selection is extensive and if they don’t have what you are looking for, they will attempt to get it for you. Over all the years we have watched many employees come and go and not once have we had a dispute with any one of them. We are always greeted with a smile, hello and fun conversation. I will always support VL over renting from red box or using Netflix. If we want local businesses for our pleasure and convenience, we need to support their continued success. Thanks Video Library.

Great library of films. Best selection in town. Knowledgeable staff and free popcorn. I’m glad to see the local shop outlasted the Blockbuster across the way. Place reminds me of video stores of the 90s.

I know what you are probably thinking: «There are still video rental stores?» There are and this one rocks! Super helpful staff and a great selection. The rental fees are pretty cheap. Plus, they are really reasonable with their late fees. I know there is such a thing as Netflix. But when I want to see a movie, I want to see it now. I have always had a good experience with Video Library and I will keep going back.

I’ve been going to Video Library for several years now and can always find something interesting to rent. They not only have the recent movie releases, but have quite a collection of BBC and American TV series that are great to rent. I recently rented the first 2 years of a British series called «The House of Elliot», written by the writers of Upstairs, Downstairs. If you love BBC period dramas like Downton Abbey and Upstairs, then you’ll probably like this one too! (you’d probably like the spoof by French & Sauders too– but I digress)…
When I learned there was a 3^rd season, which was not on the shelf, they kindly purchased the 3^rd season DVDs. Within a couple of weeks after my request, they called to tell me it was in, and they would hold it for me. That’s great service!
I would recommend the staff for their helpfulness and service!

I’ve been doing business with this company for 25 years. Every once in a while I try another, but the staff at Video Library is always courteous and helpful. I appreciate the reservation service too. Now that I’ve moved to Chico, I miss them even more!
