I stayed here for a quick overnight. I was on a long road trip, so I got a tent site to save money. The place is pretty unspectacular. There’s a lot of noise pollution from the highway that goes right by and the ground was rock solid(and also slanted so I kept rolling to one side of my tent). Not terrible, but not fantastic.

Has everything you need, but not amazing. A lot of people«live» here so it looks a little run down. Hill is steep to go up especially with snow and ice… seems a little dangerous. Plus side there is cable and wifi is decent. It is quiet which is a plus and the playground is nice for our kids who were 4 and 2

Knotty pine? Check. Campfire smell? Check. Rec Room with boistrously fun ping pong and the world’s biggest heaviest tv set? Check. On a last minute trip to meet a friend who was working the Green Mountain Falls Bronc Day craft show, this is the first place that called me back after a furious internet search. Because we were leaving in less than 24 hours, I was willing to deal with less than um, a star? The ladies on the phone were super friendly and helpful, and we arrived about 5PM. Our room was small, and could have been cute and quaint with something other than the waxy textured, blurry earth toned, robo-hotel bedspread. For $ 61? It was great. I don’t know if they had Wi Fi as I’m trying to go a few moments without to remember my children’s growing up.(I did have my GPS and my Blackberry for a sugar tit.) This is one of those 60’s motels directly off Hwy 24 between Manitou and Woodland Park. Maybe 20 rooms in a motor court with an attached campground. We checked out the communal restroom for kicks and the aforementioned rec room. For a night it was great — the bigger rooms had kitchenettes, which would be better for a longer stay.
