My favorite bar to go after a long shift with some coworkers. Cozy low key vibe with a great staff and awesome drink specials to fit my budget and my mood :)

Absolutely fun place to go, small bar with a great staff. Very reasonable drink prices and they almost always have cheap Jell-O shots! Took my best friend here for her 21st birthday night and it was a great decision! I will return very soon!

Another stop at a cool bar in town — check out their «Dollar off everything» Saturday’s — fresh taps and plenty of bottles for your choosing — great joint.

Super cheap drinks, great low-key atmosphere, and at least a dozen tv’s(plus a projector) to watch as many sporting events as you can handle! I saw baseball, football, and hockey on all at the same time last week! Oh, and the golf channel too, ugh. Bartenders were fabulous, and patrons acted as if I were a regular. Never a stranger in Boo’s! Evidently they have trivia and theme parties as well

This is your no frills dive bar. No food, some TVs, and a couple of pool tables. If you’re looking for somewhere to saddle up and throw back a few drinks, this is your place. The staff is very nice and helpful, surprising considering the aesthetics of the place. The clientele is «diverse,» but you’ll never feel out of place. They came to drink just like you and are more than apt to spark up a conversation.

Touch Tunes, no food, your regular, run-of-the-mill dive bar. HOWEVER, the drink selections are awesome and the bartenders and patrons are always super nice! It’s a great place off the beaten path. Blink and you’ll miss it. It’s never too crowded, but there’s always someone with a story and some good music playing. Don’t miss out on this place!

Full Disclosure: I’ve only been here once and forgot to check-in. I intend to go back. It was a Saturday night and I went with a friend. We went in for a beer and went out to sit on the patio out back. Ended up having a great(as in hilarious) conversation with a couple who had already had WAY too much to drink. Best line that night was when a random woman outside asked«Do you know anything about your roots?» My friend responds: «I’m Irish». She then, completely serious, not realizing her error says: «Oh, Hi Irish. I’m Sarah.»

Really enjoyed the beer selections. Staff was friendly and I had a blast while catching up with some old friends. It’s really like that diamond in the rough. GREATPLACE!

Not only do I like the name — I like the bar. This was the perfect spot to knock back some drinks, and casually catch up with pals. I was surprised to see a variety of taps, and especially enjoyed finding Raleigh’s Big Boss Aces & Ates on draft. I also had a Shocktop and a Sweetwater. Meanwhile, $ 1.50PBR kept my brother happy. Two pool tables in the back offered entertainment, but we spent most of our time on the back porch enjoying a cool spring evening and the open air… which was only somewhat marred by smokers in our group. For a ‘dive,’ it’s clean — even the bathrooms weren’t bad! And there are separate facilities for guys & gals. The only thing I wasn’t digging was the jukebox. There was no house music, so if nothing was playing on the jukebox, nothing was playing at all. And the jukebox isn’t a cool collection of the bar-back’s faves, it’s a modern digital(expensive) thing. Kind of detracts from the dive bar cred.
