Was here for the art festival, so seemed natural to jump in for a bit and take a look. Among other things, they have a really nice setup detailing the history and influx of various ethnicities into Gresham. Most are informative… but one is funny. «Early on, Gresham had few, if any, black residents. Long-time Gresham residents do recall accounts of two black men, however, who lived in the town in the early 20th century. They were called Charley Rivers and Mr. Wilson. Surviving accounts tell us very little about these two men, other that they lived in Gresham.» Which sounds like a really good historical overview of non-white people in the Portland area. «I think I saw some non-white people once…»
