I have been waiting for a quality sandwich shop to come to Gresham! My only regret is that it took me so long to try this place out. So here is the word! The shop is small but inviting. I like that there are standing tables outside for when the weather clears up. When I walked in I was greeted with a smile, and the staff member was very helpful when I had questions about the menu items. I ended up choosing the Haywood. The bread was perfect! I am a firm believer that if you are going to make a sandwich with some weight to it the bread had better be able to hold it all. The hoagie was nice and toasted, had golden brown grill marks, and it wasn’t chewy or soggy. I think the best part of this sandwich was how beautifully all the ingredients worked together. There are a lot of assertive flavors out on that playground, but surprisingly they were all friends. The assertive saltiness of the meat was tamed by the cheese, and onion and jalapeño provided some acid and crunch to break up the richness of the ingredients. Not to mention this one had a nice spicy kick to it(black bean spread yum!). Side note: I really appreciated that the chips were non-GMO, and your sandwich bags are compostable and responsibly made. These items often cost more, but I appreciate that you guys go the extra mile! Welcome to town Sandwichland! I am excited to try more sandwiches on your unique menu!

Forget about the other subs in the world because Sandwichland is the place to go. Great tasting unique sandwiches like what I had … the Haywood … with deep fried turkey, pastrami, pepperoni, two types of cheese and sliced jalapenos on a fantastic toasted hoagie. Can’t wait to go back and give the Oohrah grilled cheese a try. Great food, great people and a great lunch!

Just came across this sandwich shop today as we were driving by. The owner is great and very friendly/helpful. We each got different sandwiches, which were equally delicious and not overwhelmingly filling. We will definitely be back to try more of what’s on the menu.

My family stopped by this little sandwich shop after visiting the gresham library. The menu was great, we ordered a grilled cheese, a jar head which is peanut butter, jelly, bananas and bacon and a haywood which my fiancée ate. I ordered mine with no bacon on the jar head, as i do not eat meat. Im writing this review because Stacy and Brian the owners were great at providing customer aid when my sandwich accidentally had bacon on it. I politely explained I ordered it with no bacon, Brian was so empathic and real at the same time. He re made my sandwich immediately and then walked out and handed me a coupon for a free sandwich which I told him was not necessary. The ingredients they used were high quality and the bread was very good. They also had wraps and paleo treats in the cooler with water. The meat they used on the haywood was chicken, pastrami, and roast beef I believe then there was a spicy black bean spread that he said was spot on. All and all we will be returning on a day like today for what we consider comfort food sandwiches on a overcastey day. My daughters grilled cheese was also amazing with Havarti and provelone/cheddar. This little hole in the wall has a small menu but an amazing selection and I think everyone should go try it.
