Meh. Cheapskates on the very sparse pizza toppings, ther«Monster» subs are pathetically small, especially their miserable«meatball parmesan». Skimpy pirtions: very annoying. Grosse Pointe deserves a better pizza takeout than this.

Great pizza spot with amazing service. The assortment of toppings can’t be beat and delivery is literally one of the fastest in the area. A must try if in or around the area.

This is a amazing pizza place BUT it is very over priced. The service was decent but the pizza was amazing! I will be coming back

Not bad, not awesome. The specialty pizzas are above average– staff friendly fast and professional.

I’m new to the area and I’ve basically been surviving off my Unilocal app. Extreme pizza came up and after browsing their menu, I was torn between at least 4 pizzas. I’ve ordered those 4 now and each one has been incredible! Their bread sticks and«pow POWs» are to die for as well! I’m so excited to have found a new favorite!

Tried Extreme Pizza tonight with a Groupon. The service was friendly and timely. The salads(side Greek and Garden) were fresh and had lots of cheese and other ingredients. We also tried a calzone and the Kickin’ Chicken Pizza. The calzone was very tasty, but could of been a little hotter. The pizza was a little spicier than I expected but hot and tasty. The breadsticks were awesome. Much better than the chains mentioned in other reviews.

Exceptionally mediocre chain pizza. I’ve been here twice, both times with a Groupon. My entire family(even my picky kid) likes toppings such as artichokes and spinach on pizza, and that’s why we gave Extreme Pizza a second try. But the toppings are the only thing that’s right about this pizza. The cheese has no flavor, the sauce is thin, and the crust is like cardboard. Other reviewers have said this pizza is better than Little Caesar’s or Hungry Howie’s. I disagree. I think both of those are superior to Extreme. We gave this a try because of the Groupon. We gave it a second try because of the toppings. Next time, we’re going to order from Fresh Farms or Mama Rosa’s instead.

Very good pizza. And the service cannot be matched. Hope to keep this shop in the Pointes for years to come. We’ll definitely be back.

My husband and I don’t order pizza often but when we do, it’s from Extreme Pizza. It’s not the best pizza around, but it’s a nice step up from our local Hungry Howie’s or Papa Romanos. We ordered their version of a Hawaiian pizza last night and it was pretty tasty! We’ve only gotten delivery from here and we’ve never had a problem with service. It’s fast and easy to order online. We are definitely a fan of their GF crust.

My favorite pizza in town! I always order a carry out and I have never been disappointed. The freshest ingredients and generous helpings of toppings! They might be a bit pricey, but I can only eat one piece of Extreme Pizza where I could eat two of the competition!

Extreme pizza is extremely pricy and extremely bad. Honestly this is some of the worst pizza that I have ever had, the only pizza that is worse than this is Green Zone Pizza. There is not enough sauce on the pizzas and they are always out of soy cheese. I know a few people that are lactose intolerant and this was the only place where they could eat pizza but now since they never have soy cheese my friends can’t eat pizza. Also their subs are a joke, I believe they are referred to as «Monster Subs» but these are terrible, subway would be 100x better than these subs. I would never recommend this place to anyone not even someone I am not particularly fond of. Considering the pizza and sub places next door to extreme pizza I would go somewhere else everytime.

Ordered Extreme Pizza last night for the first time and the only thing extreme about it was the price tag. I am on a gluten free diet and am always on the hunt for some decent gluten free pizza, which is hard to come by. I must say, the gluten free($ 22 — medium!) was delicious. The best gluten free pizza I’ve had in metro Detroit. HOWEVER, my beloved husband always orders his own, non-gluten-free pizza — which he did. And what was our bill? $ 40. $ 40 for two medium sized pizzas that were, well, good — not $ 40 good, but good. Now, keep in mind that he ordered one of the fancier pizzas with 4 toppings. But, still. $ 40 to eat pizza w/o a couple of cocktails? I think next time we’ll head up to Bogarts(GP/Detroit) for a better pizza, a couple of sliders, cocktails AND a night out for the same dang price.

Pizza is delicious. Service can be slow though, especially for delivery. Wouldn’t order it in a rush but it is worth the wait and money.

If you do want to order their pizza, call it in and ask it for«to go». Use a coupon, as it’s pretty pricy.

Dough tastes like cardboard, and the sauce was too thick. Would have been ok, except for the amount of money I was expected to shell out.

Worse than frozen pizza from the grocery store. Cardboard like flavorless crust. Mediocre sauce that was applied so thick that the toppings floated above the crust and slid off each piece. Subpar quality of the toppings. They gets two stars only due to the fact that the toppings were plentiful. However, my overall opinion is that it’s not even worth trying. Much better pizza elsewhere in GP.

A friend had ordered a carry out pizza from here a couple weeks ago and he let me try a slice. I thought it was very good. So today I decided to stop in the store to grab a carry-out for lunch. I walked in and was the only person in the place. Despite the fully open kitchen with glass partitions, it took someone two minutes before they even came up to the counter to greet me. I ordered my sub and slice and the total came to $ 12.08. A little pricey, but whatever. I gave the young girl a $ 20 bill. There was no change at all in the register where she entered my order and the only other register had just singles and dimes. It’s now obvious that the owner/manager(who walked out to do a delivery) isn’t doing his job. After getting my stacks of change, she tells me that she’ll bring me my order when it is ready.(Note: nobody else ever walked into the store the entire time I was there — besides one other employee who was outside smoking and disappeared into the back room upon returning) A couple minutes goes by & I see the«cook lady» who was the only person preparing food) come out from the kitchen area and talks to the young girl who took my order for a couple minutes. The girl then takes $ 5.00OUTOFTHEDONATIONJAR on the counter and leaves out of the front door. Now, the only person running the front counter is gone. About ten minutes later the young girl returns with a six-pack bag of buns in her hand that she clearly purchased at the Farms Market just down the street. Hmmmm. I then tell them that I am really in a hurry and would just like my money back. After all, it’s been about 15 minutes and all they had to make was a small sub and a slice of pizza. The cook lady tells me it’ll only be about 2 more minutes. That part they got right. A couple minutes later I finally got my order and I left. When I got home and opened the wrapper, it was obvious that they used the sub bun that was store-bought — I wasn’t all that surprised. Despite all of that, I must say the food itself was actually pretty good. Thus, the only reason for my two star review. Now — In no way do I think that they were stealing any money from the donation jar. I’m sure they replaced it somehow after the fact. I’m just surprised they simply didn’t take a couple dollars from the one register. And to blatantly do that in front a customer. Not to mention walking thru the front door with the bag of buns, the 4×8 sheets of insulation leaning behind the counter, the UPS packages & signs piled up front where you place your order. Sorry, but when you are the only person in a place for 15 minutes you tend to notice everything. The owner is clearly too busy doing his own deliveries and not seeing the obvious. Unless something changes and the owner/management opens their eyes, this place won’t last a year. I think it’s overpriced and service is clearly an issue. Bottom line — maybe try to order ahead and pray they get it right.

Ordered two pizzas — they only made one … Seemed extremely unorganized and had many unhappy customers waiting for pizzas … And the pizza was just sitting in its box on top of a shelf when I got there so the pizza was cold — had to put it in the microwave when I got home. The crust was cardboard — definitely rolled out and cooked in a factory. Thank god they messed up my order so I didn’t have to pay another $ 20 for an awful pizza. Why anyone would go here when they have the farms pizza for 2⁄3 the price is beyond me. Even a frozen pizza would have been much more satisfying.

Very disappointed in this new local establishment after trying their pizza for the first time. We ordered a Hanoi Fever, an Aveiro, buffalo wings, and a salad. The delivery arrived minus the salad. The wings were fatty and boring. The pizzas were«extremely» unimpressive. Dry, cardboard crust. Toppings, although creative, were sub-par. I’m assuming this is frozen crust– terrible! Previous review mentioned a DiGiorno would be a better choice and a much better price. A Hot Pocket beats this pizza. How this ever flew in SF I will never understand.

More like EXTREMERIP-OFF. To their credit — good cheese, sauce, and crust is crispy with good flavor but takes work to chew. Why I won’t be back… I ordered a 16″ half and half pizza which was supposed to be ½ with only cheese and the other ½ with pepperoni /sausage but was made with the few toppings we did get spread over the entire pizza. Unlike every other pizza place they charged full price for ½ toppings; OK I suppose if the toppings are loaded on but our pizza had only 3 small pieces of sausage on the entire pizza and 1 – 2 pieces of pepperoni per piece; and the pizza was greasy. Wait time quoted was 30 minutes but it took closer to 45 minutes and they were quoting an hour wait to customers ordering when I was picking up the pizza. The price for my Extreme Pizza? Over $ 22!!! I would have been happier if I’d thrown a $ 5 DiGiorno in the oven.
