Typical Culvers, good fast food! I had the fish sandwich basket, their fish is pretty darn tasty! I don’t think there is much here I wouldn’t like! Very clean place and service was good as always for Culver’s.

Workers are friendly, this is fast food service, better than McDonald’s and cheaper too. You go home satisfied with their great burgers and good fries. Will come back.

Why do I love turtle sundaes so much! I wish I didn’t, but I just can’t help myself when Culvers keeps making them taste so delicious. This place has great food, even better desserts, and they always give great service! Where do you hire these nice people from?!! Got some coupons at a parade over the 4th of July and it has spurred me into going too many times lately. Sorry waist line, better luck next summer!

If you get a kid scoopie meal, ask to use the coupon on the bag for a free custard!!!

Being from out-of-state, I’ve tried all sorts of ice cream and frozen yogurt, but never frozen custard! As a self-proclaimed ice cream enthusiast, Culver’s has a wide selection of frozen custards, fast food, shakes, pretty much all things that will raise your cholesterol. But just every once in a while, Culver’s is a nice treat. The only thing I get here is the frozen custard: Mini Concrete Mixer(comes with two free toppings) with: 1. Vanilla Frozen Custard 2. Brownie bites 3. Kit Kat Total cost: ~$ 3 I prefer the ice cream FINELY blended instead of being really chunky so I always ask upon ordering to make it REALLYREALLYREALLY Blended. Otherwise I feel as though they just threw in some kitkats and brownie chunks whole and called it a day. After having some good and bad experiences with Culver’s, I can conclude that I like Culver’s when I want variety from ice cream and can’t get Scooters Frozen Custard downtown. Mainly because of the inconsistencies that come with how the concrete mixers are made. Otherwise, it’s good overall.

Pretty good place. They keep the place clean and my kids like the scoopie meals with ice cream.

This is not good… this is my third Butter Burger in about 5 weeks and the 3rd different Culver’s I’ve been too. I’m starting to get addicted to this Burger because it reminds me of how good Steak-N-Shake use to taste. I do not know what Steak-N-Shake changed but it’s not the same anymore. Culver’s whatever you are doing don’t change because I’m a huge fan!!! The Double Butter Burger is really good. I love how the patties are smashed and have that amazing char on them. The vegetables are always fresh too. I think the red onion is the secret weapon… it gives it an amazing taste. I also never get mayo on my burgers… mayo will kill you! LOL!!! This location has a really nice outdoor patio and the weather was perfect today. In a few months we will all be forced inside because these tables will be covered in snow. Culver’s keep making this yummy burger and I will keep coming back for more!!!

It’s called a «butterburger» and a «cement mixer». What else do you need to know?

Busy location but they’re pretty on the ball. Precise orders made and of course the concrete mixers were off the chain! Great place!

We are all fans of Culver’s and since my daughter and I were lost going to Milwaukee Wisconsin because of all the construction, we ended up stopping at the Culver’s in Gurnee when we were starving. We ordered the butter cheeseburger and french fries meal. We were bad girls. But, oh, yummy! The burgers were fresh, the fries were cooked perfectly and great with lots of ketchup! Then, on the way out, we ordered custard cones for the road. Then, traffic was much improved and we reached Milwaukee within the half hour. The staff at the Culver’s in this location were young, fun, and friendly, too. I highly recommend Culver’s for stops on the road because you will always encounter friendly staff, a clean restaurant and restrooms and something for everyone’s appetite and diet.

I am boycotting this Culvers! A bunch of lazy teenagers working there that could give a rats ass on wether or not you got your food. Not only did it take extremely long when there were only 3 customers in there, when the food was ready it just sat in the holding tray while the so called workers just stood around and talked about rearranging their work schedule. We had to interupt them, all 4 of them, so someone could give us our food. The guy who appeared to be the manager just rudely gave us our food with no appology or even a word, just looked like a pouty faced teen that got yelled at by his mom. Ordered the fish and it was awful and we had to throw it away. Worst customer service and food ever! Don’t go there!

I am not 100% sure I’m reviewing the correct Culver’s, but pretty sure since we drove by Great America to get there. Anyhow… I came in and enthusiastically asked the dude at the counter… ME: Is there a combo where I can get a meal and custard too? Dude: Yes! That would be the scoobylicious kiddy fun meal(or something to that effect). ME:(giggle) Um, yes, I’ll take that. It was awesome. The total was 4 dollars and something, and I got a swiss butter burger, fries, a drink(root beer, owwoww), AND a scoop of custard(and a huge scoop, too). The burger and fries were typical fast food, nothing too great, but that’s what I expected. The custard was delicious. So yummy and vanilla-y. I’d pay 5 bucks just for custard if I went to a frozen custard place in the city.

The food is the same everywhere. decent and the menu is pretty large. Frozen custard is great. blah blah. Ok this location constantly has an employee truck parked by the drive-thru that flies a large confederate flag. I like free speech so I ignored it until the last time I went through and the employee(Mark P) at the window treated me like crap. Ok screw you too, whatever. But a few minutes later he got off his shift walked by my car as I waited for my meal, climbed in the asshole-mobile and then flipped off a black co-worker while he roared away. Wow.

After Mark S. tempted me with the idea, I feel the need to put my own two cents in on the wonder that is Culver’s. I’m a big big fan of the fried cheese curds. Who isn’t a fan of cheese that’s deep fried. For real. I’ve only tried the burgers as far as sandwiches go, but the other stuff looks good too. They have tons of great desserts and I love finding out what the custard flavor of the day is. A little variety never hurt anyone. Love that they’ll give me extra pickles, and I don’t just mean one extra. This place is the only place that has a 900plus calore strawberry shortcake that says is a physical impossibility. Amazing.
