Lone Star Steakhouse

I’m giving this 2 because the waitress was actually decent but this had to be the worst place to get a steak when wanting one. The steak was dry, I asked for medium and I got well the people next to us were also complaining about all 4 of their meals and the price is ridiculous for what you get, way over priced. I didn’t want to be another one of those people that complains so I held my tongue and ate the whole thing which was hard. My gf ordered this Santa Fe wrap and she told me it was horrible so most of it was thrown away. Lesson well learned.

Came here for dinner with my cousin. Were greeted right away and brought to our table. Our server Glen was very friendly. My steak was dry and not very tasty but my cousin steak was good. The sweet potato was very good and salad. Will try this place again and see if steak gets better or worse.

Smallest portions ever! Still hungry when we left. Doubt that anyone would be taking home a doggy bag. Service wasn’t bad but I expected more.

Came for my fiancé’s birthday and had a buy one get one free entrée coupon. We decided on ribeyes.
The peppercorn ribeye is much better than the Cajun, I thought. The steaks were also little thin for my taste, but the service was good — they were not busy at all.
The table next to us had a birthday and they brought a cake from jewel. They gave our baby a piece of it hahaha – they were a great of people. This made dinner much more enjoyable.

Ok, I heard from a friend that this place was good, no true, it was great! Quick prompt service, and a meal fit for us as though we made it ourselves! I have no idea why we’ve not been there sooner.
We will be back!
I got the Delmonico steak, and my bride savored the salmon. Good choices!

Awesome steak! First time there with friends. Manager was awesome! And the food and margaritas were to die for! The chopped salad yum!!!

We’ve lived in the area for 20 years, but we haven’t been back to Lone Star in quite a long time. Today we went because it was my wife’s birthday and they sent her a coupon for a free entrée. We figured it can’t be that bad considering they’ve been here for years. Man, were we mistaken.
My wife ordered the Delmonico steak, and I ordered the Texas ribeye. Her steak was literally SPOILED. My steak tasted like something worse than Ponderosa — no flavor whatsoever. We sent back our steaks and while my wife requested another Delmonico, I changed to an 8 oz. filet. When they came back with our replacement steaks, my wife’s new Delmonico was also spoiled. The filet I ordered was just barely OK — it looked like one of those filets you buy in bulk at Sam’s Club. My wife ended up changing to the filet.
The service was good, and the manager was very apologetic, and she paid for both of our steaks. But there must have been a reason why we haven’t been back for so long — the steaks are expensive and frankly, subpar. And rotten meat? How disgusting can you get? I don’t think I’ll be setting foot into that place ever again. One of the worst steakhouse experiences I have ever had.

AMAZING Spinach Dip!!!:) Good service we had a minor issue with our food and the manager came out and apologized, he was really nice, he gave us a free appetizer for our next visit. We’ll be using it on the spinach dip for sure lol

Food was good, service was good, nicely priced, overall positive dinning will visit again soon.

Pretty standard fare from a place like this, service was nice, refilled our drinks quickly, love the idea of the steak salad? The execution was underwhelming. Nice enough place though.

Bacon wrapped steak?! Best idea ever!!! Beefs me on how they thought of it, but it was the best meal I’ve ever had!!!

**UPDATE BELOW*** I’m EXTREMELY disappointed :(I brought my son, a new SAILOR who graduated bootcamp this weekend to enjoy a nice steak dinner before I had to leave to head back home out of state. The food was extremely overpriced, wasn’t bad, but my steak was burnt on one side and dry. They did not give Military discounts, except Monday, I guess they wait until AFTER the PIR weekend when all the Sailors and their families have already left :(What a sad, disappointing way to show the pride and appreciation for thoses serving. I regret coming here and will make sure that the Navy websites for PIR (bootcamp graduations) are aware of the sorry gratitude and overpriced food, that they need to go celebrate at another restaurant who shows the respect that is due… And that the food isn’t anything to rave about anyway… Even my boys said White Castle would have been better. *** UPDATE *** a company representative called and after explaining the situation, he took my credit card info to refund some money, however, it’s been a month and I’ve not seen anything… I really was excited that they cared enough to reach out and would set things right… Another disappointment from this company.

Greeted at the front door by a very nice hostess. Her first question thew me off guard though, «What table would you like??»… Um what table you got. Ask me if I would prefer a booth, table or bar… the way she phrased it was very confusing. Her second question just plain old confused me «What would you like to name your table?» I don’t give a good GD what my table is named, I’m here to eat not name a table. So we get seated and there is a piece of paper with what I named my table which just happened to be my name… John. The waitress comes up, take the piece of paper and asks «Which one of you is John?». I’m sitting here with my best friend and she only acknowledges the one of us with their name on the paper. I can’t imagine how that would work with a four top or more. Anyway it was weird. This idea most likely was from the stooges in Marketing who wanted to put a fun spin on dining. It wasn’t fun, it was really weird and made the waitstaff look stupid. Anyway food was good, wasn’t expecting much but my steak was good enough and my beautiful baby sweet potato was good too.

My daughter and I ate dinner here last night and our server (mason) was great and very attentive but I was not happy with the taste of the food. I ordered the appetizer wings, both bar b que and hot. the wings were sort of bland and nothing to scream about. I usually eat pretty healthy and decided to «cheat» by ordering the half rack of ribs and two sides, a garden salad and steamed broccoli. the ribs were dry and bland, the garden salad was swimming in salad dressing (I wish I asked for the dressing on the side) and the broccoli was soaked in butter, so much, that I could see the amount of butter sitting at the bottom of the cup the broccoli came in. Yuck!!! I should have known not to eat here when I noticed this restaurant is not listed in my app, Eat this, Not that”. that’s usually a sign that restaurants don’t want the public to know the calorie intake of their meals.

Yummy yummy. Refreshing service. Glen is a great bartender. Knowledgeable about beers too. Awesome. Will be back

We have eaten here several times and it’s Okay. The burgers are good and juicy, better than I expected. The steaks are average, at best. They don’t cook to temp ordered and the meat cuts are poor. Have had a couple of appetizers and they were average.
Really unfair to call places like this and Outback «steak houses».

I can’t say much about this place because we were not served.
We were almost immediately seated by the hostess but a waiter never came by. Several other members of the wait staff walked by us over a period of 15 minutes but no one either noticed or cared that we did not even have drinks, or a server.
Attempts to flag one down were fruitless.
At the fifteen minute mark I got up and walked out. The man who I assume was the manager on duty tried to speak to us as we left but I admit I was a little hungry and angry so I chose to continue leaving rather than give this place any more of a chance.

Service is good. Love fried green beans. Steaks places are not too plentiful close to my house but I like this place when I’m in the area. I would like a little more quantity of vegetables.

We sat at the bar and enjoyed $ 2 margaritas and a cute bar tender. The Margs were so good! And I can’t believe the price! The aps are good too I really enjoyed the fried green beans. They also play country, have big screens at the bar to watch games. Next time I’m bringing a DD so I can have more Margs!

While not great steak, even for a mid-​price chain; this place is a winner.
Service is very good and food is pretty decent.
Steaks here are well prepared, but keep in mind: its all relative to price.
They also offer specials from time to time and their ~$ 17 3-​course meal is a great option. My 10yr old orders it over the kids meal, as it gives him soup, main entrée and desert (or app).
Chili is good here, well stocked with meat.
Definitely worth a visit for a decent meal and good service. Parking may be tight and the traffic flow from the mall is a pain, but if in the area stop in.
