Toys R Us sucks! They are so overpriced and the people working there have no clue about anything. I bought some things there this morning for a baby shower (mom-​to-​be was unfortunately registered there) and then proceeded to go to Target, where I found everything cheaper. Went back immediately to return my purchase, of course, with issues. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. In the future I will print out the Toys R Us registry and buy my items at Target or on Amazon instead.

Unhelpful staff at the service desk. Waited in line, only to be sent to the back of the store, when it turned out in the end the service desk was exactly where I needed to be. Not impressed with being the object of a game of human ping pong, particularly when the store was insanely crowded and busy only a few days before Christmas. The point of pre-​ordering a gift was to make it easier, not more stressful.

Always get greeted nicely as you walk in. Then it’s like being in the desert here. No activity hardly. Very few store personnel and even fewer customers.
That said, you can easily get around the store without obstructions. Just plan on finding what you need on your own as the only people working are usually at the front. But that is not all bad as you can take your time to peruse.
