Great diner just off the highway. Perfect place to stop in a grab a bite. All the perks of a roadside diner with a added elegant look. Chit chat offers comphy seating and gorgeous fixtures in a casual dining experience. Their menu is traditional and easy to browse through. Not overwhelmed with specials and dishes that are never ordered. Kids menu, adult drinks, breakfast lunch dinner. Waiting service was speedy and very nice.

Stopped in on our way back to MD and was pleasantly surprised! Environment is cute and fun. The place is spotless, even the bathrooms, which was a very nice surprise. I got an egg mcmuffin like sandwich, which was not on the menu. It was so delicious. Everything was fresh. The eggs were so fluffy and yummy. Also had some French toast and it was pillowy and sweet. Love that it’s made with challah too. Hubby loved his omelet too. Definitely worth. Try.

I’ve had a change of heart about this place I posted on Facebook that I loved this place And I got tons of replies that my friends will never go back to a diner that doesn’t give free refills I can’t tell you how disappointed I am now…

Had the burger… was good. Pizza burger was a regular burger with marina sauce on the side. It was mediocre at best. French fries are typical diner fries. Nothing special about this place. Coffee was above average.

The ambiance was very bright and cheery; the food was delicious, and the conversation cards made for some great conversation. I thought their menu was really fun as well – loved the fonts and bright colors and it had some unique headers(sliders ‘n shakes, etc.). I ordered a Greek wrap with seasoned waffle fries, and it was great! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I thought it was a bit pricey for a diner… But I would definitely come back for another visit to try more items on the menu!

As diners go, the ChitChat Diner is wonderful. The food is always good quality, the service attentive and the portions large. We normally bring the leftovers home and have them the next day. The fish dishes are surprisingly good. I recommend them highly.

As far as diners go in this area, it’s probably the best one within comfortable distance. The restaurant is very nicely lit with decent décor and a decent atmosphere for a diner. Not dingy like some. My colleague really enjoyed the typography on the menu. The waitstaff are friendly, even when you come in at 3am.(Let me tell you one of the perks is the fact this is a 24 hour diner). The food here is really good. I had a burger and it was cooked perfectly and was seasoned well(I think it was the garlic burger? I can’t remember). And the sweet potato fries were really yummy. Crispy and flavorful. I know my friend enjoyed his milkshake here, as well. My only slight disappointment is in the cake. I had a chocolate and raspberry cake and it definitely looked better than it tasted. It was sort of bland, nothing too«wow» just a very generic piece of cake. But, again, as far as diners go, it’s a fantastic diner with good food.(And it’s cute that it has the little«conversation starter» box of cards on the tables.)

Typical diner food, with typical diner like service. Though huge plus, that they’re open 24/7, so if you’re in the mood for a late night snack or even a full meal, chit chat is open and ready to serve!

The diner is great, the food is above average and tasty — Yes it’s a little more expensive than most diners however it’s also better quality of food and service than majority of any diner . The conversation opener(cards) on each table is a small touch to detail but a great way to open up a conversation with anyone . The coffee here is the best in the area and you must try their Cappuccino, they are strong yet smooth. The staff are very friendly, open and easy to change something your dish.

One of the best diners I have encountered! I have come here during my mother’s hospital visits back in 2013 and it’s been great. I think the food has always been pretty premium. The portions are pretty great, everything feels clean. Of course this comes down to it being pretty pricey. And I’m ok with that considering what I mentioned. The menu is pretty extensive so you can order pretty much anything and it will served to you tasting fresh. I also like the conversation starter cards that are at all tables, you can get to learn a lot about the people you are sitting with by using these while you wait for you food. Service is mostly prompt. I recommend the Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls if you want something to snack on. My friend praised the omelet he received saying it tasted it great and was well cooked. The breakfast is always a good go-to if you aren’t feeling to adventurous. Everything is pretty solid.

This is a great go to place when you are not sure what kind of meal you are in the mood for. They have a large selection of food options to choose from and you won’t be disappointed with the flavor or the portion. I never had their mixed drinks so I can’t comment. They have a daily dinner special which you can’t go wrong. Pros: flavorful food, nice portions enough to bring home left overs(at least for me). There is parking, they take credit cards. If you are not truly satisfied with your food they could work something out with you. I have seen it happen at another table. Cons: The cakes look great but are a little dry. I would skip the dessert unless it came with your meal and you wanted to try it then go for it.

I’ve been to Chit Chat Diner a handful of times to grab a bite to eat and I must say its pretty damn good! Though I am forever loyal to my Suburban Diner this is my next go to spot for diner food. A couple of my girlfriends and I were hungry last night and decided to order chit chat. We got 3 orders of chicken fingers with disco fries. The delivery guy was nice enough to call my cell instead of ringing the bell which was cool. The food was nice and hot and I liked that the gravy for the disco fries was packaged separate so my fries didn’t get soggy. I will say the prices are a little higher than your average diner, but the quality is on point. I also heard that they offer an amazing brunch here which I’ll have to try out. All in all definitely a cool diner to come check out!

Me and my husband always love coming to this place. Great food, great service friendly staff and they serve alcohol. It’s clean pretty big seating areas. I love the Gyro platter comes with fries and a greek salad. Place is always packed. Sometimes you have to wait for a table maybe 10−15mins tops. It’s worth the wait.

I had a 5 star experience here. The Silver Dollar Smores did it for me. You may have seen them on my #TakeoverTuesday :) I felt like I fell down the rabbit hole upon entering Chit Chat Diner. The place has a crazy checker board theme going on. It’s pretty fun. The Silver Dollar Smores are absolutely delicious. I shared them with my sister, and I definitely recommend sharing unless you want to leave feeling like a blob. The balance of real breakfast and a treat had me ready to take on the day. I left feeling completely satisfied. I also witnessed our waiter do a crazy balancing act save after an oblivious patron got in the way. That was impressive. I 100% would have been covered in food. Didn’t have anything to complain about and will be back again!

We came here for brunch on a Sunday and the wait time for 2 was 20 min. Inside is nice and nice ambiance. Staff is friendly as well. They have brunch specials as well as regular breakfast menu where you can just build your own omelette. Good prices!

Chit chat diner is one the places we sometimes go for brunch. We have tried Karpenisi frittata– very good cones with pita bread and french fries in the frittata, waffle Stack are really good, french toast and pancakes are also good. They also offer complimentary mimosa or bellini with some items on weekends. All in all, a good place to get brunch. The good thing is the conversation cards on each table to keep you busy while they making your food are great. Its our second best place to go for breakfast/brunch.

Found this place scrolling through Unilocal!for diners that had healthy, nutritious food options since my diet is a bit complicated than most! And this place had plenty of options for me to choose from(I mean it, the menu is massive) and it was hard to pick just one! Got the«bronana» pancakes but substituted walnuts for the brown sugar, asked for no powdered sugar and got turkey bacon on the side! They were able to make it all work and the staff is super nice and friendly! The serving sizes are perfect! Cleaned my plate and everything, which also means the food was delicious! The pancakes were light and fluffy, walnuts cooked right in with fresh banana on top! The turkey bacon was also cooked perfectly as well! Overall, a 5⁄5 stars for food! The service was also amazing, like I said! And the atmosphere of the dinner is welcoming and open, while also giving you a cozy feel! The place could’ve been packed and I would have been able to head my conversation with my friend across from me perfectly without anyone else being too close or on top of me! So, 5⁄5 stars! I would really give it a 4.5 stars if I could but I’m going with 4 because of the pricing. It’s not expensive, but it’s not cheap either! My whole meal was around $ 16, a little steep for a typical breakfast for dinner but the quality of the food and the establishment made it totally worth it! My friend and I plan on making dinner here a thing so we will definitely be back!

New Jersey. The shore, stinky factories along the Turnpike, The Sopranos, and Diners. The Chit Chat is a typical NJ diner. Solid food, extensive menu, themed décor and open 24 Hours. Prompt, pleasant service, even at 130 am. I went with the Taylor Ham, American cheese on a hard roll, fries, and chocolate milk shake; The official meal of my NJ high school years, sans the fifth of JD tucked in my pocket. Just as good today as back then. Shake was good, great presentation too.

This is my favorite Diner. It’s a pleasant place to get a fabulous salad and awesome brunch food(I haven’t gotten much diner dishes from here but I’ve heard all great things!) I live in the area and LOVE that they are open 24 hours. The prices are perfect when you’re not trying to break the bank but want delicious food. Their wait staff struggles from time to time, but nothing outrageous. They tend to have lots of customers(which is a good sign!) which sometimes leads to some slower service days. I’ve waited as long as 35 minutes for my table to get their food; 2 salads and a breakfast omelet. However, don’t let the deter you from trying this place and becoming a regular like me. It’s not often I experience that. Normally you have a little more than average wait time but it’s worth it! You can expect decent service most of the time and EXCELLENT food! The menu variety is massive! Fits everyone’s liking. Lastly, the décor is EXTREMELYCHARMING! It’s like a little Alice in Wonderland themed retro diner. Always super clean. They also do all night deliveries on the weekends! Bravo Chit Chat; fav diner.
