Oh boy do I love this place. I go there every two weeks. The manager is always super nice and checks on you. You can bring your own beer or wine in and the food is outstanding! The top food choice, when available, are the Thai BBQ ribs and the garlic ribs. Unfortunately, they cannot always get the high quality of ribs on the site everyday but when they do; deliciousness! Other tasty treats include the tofu salad and curries. Make sure you follow them on Instagram to check out their secret menu. Reservations recommended…

5 stars for the coconut rice and tom ka. Sure the garlic shrimp were good too but man the rice and soup really made it spectacular!

Great meal and incredible customer care! The ginger salad, Bangkok noodles, and spring rolls were a perfect meal followed by the mango rice pudding to go. We will be going back soon.

Tasty Thai food at Rajanee! Modern and updated interior, with several tasty items to choose from. We enjoyed the chicken satay which had a scrumptious peanut sauce that was blended smooth and had a tangy zing. The chicken breast in the satay was grilled to juicy perfection. Friendly and frequent service, with several water refills, was greatly appreciated after a fun hot afternoon up on the NS. The chicken fried rice was well seasoned and a savory snack. The Pad Thai was yummy and I recommend using the squeeze of lime for a little extra pop. Rajanee is a welcome little addition to Hale’iwa and a new top choice for our family of five.

Love the food, live nearby BUT… Just went there for lunch and the music was so loud we left. People were screaming at each other to hear. Too bad because I like this place and the food is excellent. I did not want to give this ratting but if I can’t hear myself think i can’t eat here. TURNDOWNTHETUNES !!! Update… As I said in my original review this is a great place to eat. Service is great and excellen food. In a reply from owner/management it was sugested that i should have asked the staff to lower the music. This is exactly what i should have done and maybe i wouldn’t have been so disapointed, and had a great meal. My error and Mahalo for your response. See you soon. I highly recommend this eatery !!! 5 stars to you guys.

Awesome food all around, but hit their mililani location if you live on island or are traveling back to town. The prices at this location are $ 2 – 4 higher than the mililani location, which is a bummer for regular/returning customers that were looking forward to this location being opened.

Great dinner! We had the green papaya salad, spring rolls with plum sauce, Bangkok night noodles and yellow curry with tofu. Everything was so amazing. The green papaya salad we ordered medium heat and next time we’ll get mild for sure but it was still so yummy! Emphasis on «next time» we’ll be going back very soon. We got seated right away. Had a very friendly server– I wish I asked for her name– I think she works at coffee gallery too. She was attentive and sweet and everything came out perfect.

If you like your shrimp like I like my shrimp(fresh), like straight out of the ocean 2 minutes ago then this is the place for you. The food is amazing and every ingredient complements one another. The Thai iced tea is excellent. Will for sure be back.

We had the pleasure of being here the first week they opened, and were very happy with the various Thai dishes. All fresh and delicious. And as busy as they were they worked to make us all happy and kept us well fed.

After a 60 mile bike ride my son felt like having Thai food. Busy day in Haleiwa but we were seated immediately. Had the chicken Pad Thai and the Yellow curry. Both were excellent. Our server was very friendly and efficient. She was able to handle the whole restaurant by herself, which included acting as hostess, waitress and busser. As busy as she was, she came by numerous times to check on us and refill our water. Great job!

Some of the best Thai food that my wife and I have ever had. We split the chicken pad thai(our staple testing ground for what we like) and a roast duck with peanut curry. Both were great. We were warned that the chef tends to run on the spicier side so opted for mild so my wife could enjoy everything. I also had a Thai tea with coconut milk layered on top which was great. Both the unsweetened and sweetened versions were tasty. Our server was nice and attentive, but it did seem like she was getting the short end of the stick as far as work she was doing. All in all a great experience. I would recommend reservations(at least on the weekend) because there was a wait for everyone who walked in.

Sorry but maybe I went on a bad day. But the chicken eggplant green curry was like water and hardly had anything in it. Had to have been the worst green curry I’ve ever had . For sure not worth the $ 15.00 and $ 3.00 for brown rice. I left very disappointed.

Sat us immediately Really good food Lids on the kids water Moderate prices(local perspective) Tables near toilet, maybe rethink that, could but a wall in front of toilet door and make that a one table almost semi-private area. Online reservation–

New Rajanee spot opened up on the North Shore. Hands down the best Thai restaurant you’ll eat on this side of the island. Their food is authentic. You know how I know? Because I grew up on Asian food. I’ve been to authentic Thai restaurants in Ohio and California. I’ve had green Thai curry made for me by a friend. I know what it’s supposed to taste like. This spot is definitely close to authentic. I love their green curry. I love the fact that you can tell them, «I want Thai spicy» and they’ll GIVE you Thai spicy. Not weak spicy, legit Thai spicy. It took awhile for us to discover Rajanee Thai in Mililani but I am grateful. Though they are a bit pricy, it is worth the taste and satisfaction. Do not waste your time on going to the other«Thai restaurant» in Haleiwa. Please. That place doesn’t compare. Especially the fact that you get to order what you want and know what exactly you are paying. Rajanee is 1000000% times better. Don’t waste your time trying to make reservations on shitty Opal Thai. Because you wouldn’t be seated right away. You would be waiting for 30 minutes or more. Also, I haven’t met the owners of Rajanee. Probably because they’re busy cooking and preparing the meals. I’ve met Opal and if you’ve heard the rumors about him, yes he’s a twat who thinks highly of himself. A complete jerk to his employees. Horrendous attitude towards customers as well. Don’t waste your money there. You’ll get what you want to order at Rajanee. You’ll know what you’ll be paying as well.

Solid Thai food! The restaurant it’s very cute and has nice ambiance but also if you you’re too hungry to wait for a table you can order from their take out window like we did AND there’s picnic tables in the back which in my opinion was better since I got to enjoy the weather. We ordered the spring rolls, pumpkin curry with a side of coconut rice, Pad Thai and coconut deep fried ice cream. Great portion sizes! We each had enough leftovers for a meal the next day. Pumpkin curry is always my go to order at Thai places. I really enjoyed the flavor of this one, the curry was thick creamy and had a lot of pumpkin yum! I gotta say though the coconut rice was what made it even more delicious! I had never had coconut rice before, it’s sticky rice made with coconut milk, topped w/sesame seeds and peanuts. looovvveed it .adds and umph of flavor to your dish. Pad Thai was also very tasty, A go to staple for sure. Oh and last but not least! Coconut deep fried ice cream is served with chocolate and raspberry sauce. Those sauces totally elevate it. The batter want very crunchy but it was still good to eat with the ice cream. Great finish for the meal If your wanting a great meal after a long day at the beach go here and enjoy the cute old historic town area full of shops and restaurants.

YUMMMMY pad Thai and yellow curry! Green Papaya salad tasted very weird compared to the Vietnamese style but that’s just my preference. Wait was also very long for the main course. VERY friendly staff and easy to get reservation through Unilocal(only a couple hours beforehand and on Valentine’s Day! I got very lucky). I’d definitely come back.

This happened yesterday after my bf and I went to the beach. Since I loved the one at Mililani. I thought they would have the same great service. The restaurant is really pretty inside. Limited seating but it’s still really cute! The server was nice she got our drinks quickly. What bothered me was there was a family next to us. they put in their order after us and then some. they got their order within 5 mins. The server didn’t say anything till 15 mins after saying it should be ready soon. We waited 20 mins total. I dunno if the family accidently got some of our order since my bf and I got just 2 dishes for the both of us. but I wish the server could’ve said what was going on instead of pretending not to see us till that moment. The food was really good. Same great taste as the mililani location but I’ll just go to the mililani one. I feel a bit more welcomed there.

Totally delicious! We saw the good reviews on Unilocal and swung by for a try our first night in Haleiwa. We ordered the spring salad rolls with peanut sauce and a drunken noodle with chicken. Wonderful texture, enjoyable spiciness, kind wait staff. My husband is a huge fan of Thai food and kept talking about this place after our visit. Yum! The thai coffee was a bit sweet for my taste but good enough to enjoy :)

Even though I love Thai food I rarely go to Thai restaurants because it’s so hard to find a good one. I’m from Boston so maybe it’s more of a problem on the east coast rather than the west coast of the US. Unfortunately I haven’t made it to Thailand but so far the best Thai food I’ve eaten has been in Australia where I lived for a few months. This restaurant was amazingly good and surpassed what I had in Australia. I’m on vacation in HI and actually came here twice! The sauces are flavorful and complex. The vegetables are perfectly cooked. There is a nice variety of dishes on the menu. I kept looking at the different dishes the servers walked by with to bring to other tables and I wanted to try them all! Our server was the restaurant owners girlfriend and she was so nice and friendly and provided us with great service. Also the ambiance was nice. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m on Oahu!

We were driving around Haleiwa town looking for Matsumoto’s Shaved ice, but they were closed on New Years Day. Instead we decided to look for a snack and found Rajnee, w hich must be pretty new because we didn’t see any reviews at the time. You can choose to dine in or order at a pickup window outside. The food was very tasty and very tangy flavored like I was in Thai town in LA.

Love it! Came here tonight for dinner with friends who are going back to the states tomorrow. I usually do take-out from the Mililani location so this was my first time dining in and at the Haleiwa location since they opened. Please keep in mind that there were four of us dining tonight before you judge the amount of food that was ordered. We ordered the following: shrimp summer rolls, spring rolls, papaya salad, Bangkok night noodles, drunken noodles, pumpkin curry, fried coconut ice cream and fried banana Everything was delicious! The shrimp summer rolls were really fresh and I absolutely love their peanut sauce. It has a bit of curry flavor. The summer rolls were great as well. Very hot since it was fresh from the fryer. The summer roll sauce was also very yummy. The papaya salad was fresh and definitely not spicy. I’ve tried this before at a different restaurant and it was too spicy to enjoy. The Bangkok night noodles are my absolute fav but this was my first time trying the drunken noodles. It was very tasty and full of flavor. If you enjoy your noodles wet, then you should give this a shot. I was a little sad about the pumpkin curry because there wasn’t that many kabocha pieces in the curry. When it’s mango season, be sure to order the mango sticky rice. Unfortunately, it wasn’t mango season so we had to try the two desserts on the menu. These two were far from horrible. You will not be disappointed either way you go. I really enjoyed the fried coconut ice cream. As much as we enjoyed the food, Michelle enhanced our experience this evening. Here is a shout out to Michelle and her exceptional service! We loved tonight’s experience at Rajanee in Haleiwa! Thank you to the chef and the entire team! Side note: — lots of tables for restaurant dining — take out window on the side for quick grab and go — BYOB — parking lot in the back, restaurant located closer to Teddy’s Burger corner

An outstanding addition to historic Haleiwa! The atmosphere, décor, service, staff and most importantly the food are all on point. I went with the Thai spicy panang curry(just on the edge for me being not too spicy to enjoy… perfect)and spring rolls.
