This place is located out on it’s own at the Moss Beach Air Port, but don’t let it’s location fool you. This place has amazing breakfast at a fair price and massive portions. I believe I’ve only eaten here for Breakfast/Brunch, but the food here is incredible. Check it out if you are a local or are a tourist driving up north on Highway 1.

Nice little diner to stop at if you find yourself along the coast. They have an outdoor area that looks over onto the airport. You can also bring you dog which is pretty cool. The breakfast is average, I had the eggs Benedict, it was good but nothing spectacular. The staff is pleasant and attentive. It can get pretty crowded and cramped inside so I typically prefer to sit outside.

Fun little place full of aviation history and artifacts! Right next to the HMB airport, fun to watch planes land and taxi over for a bite. Wonderful omelette with home fries. We always stop when in town.

Revising my review. The food is still awesome, but the last few times we’ve been here the service has been insanely slow. We don’t go here as much now because it takes too long.

So far a grumpy man took our order and it’s been 35 minutes and no food so far. Finally got the food 10 minutes later. And the server’s words to us were«there». This place has lots of great reviews but not from us. The food was okay. Nothing to write home about. If you are an airplane person you will love this lace for its décor. We left a 15% tip in hopes that he shares it with the woman that brought us our drinks.

I love visiting Half Moon Bay especially because of the cute, quirky and downright delicious breakfast spots it usually has to offer! 3-Zero Café was no exception to this rule! My travel buddies and I stopped in here for our last breakfast in town and were very satisfied with our experience! Although basic looking the café is cute and welcoming plus the service(at least on this particular day) was fast and friendly. I ordered the Southern Omelette with Breakfast Potatoes and it was really, really decent! Nothing incredible but very solid food and did sustain me for the long road trip ahead! Would recommend for sure.

My family and I just ate here and we were disappointed in the experience. Says best breakfast in the area but definitely was not for us. Food was average at best and on the cold side. The service was virtually nonexistent, our drinks were never refilled during the whole meal. Waitress never stopped back after taking order to check on us and only showed up to give us the check, which was not correct either.

Very tiny little café. I was a little upset we got stuck sitting at a table set up in the waiting area untill one couple was asked to share their table with another couple. In any case, dynamite food!!! Right at the HMB airport, and the entire café decorated with aviation related décor. Even a runway to get you into the building. Would like to check this place out for lunch some time. Joes special, Crab Frittata, and kids pancake all recommended!

I had the Brioche French toast. My wife has the orange waffles. Both were AWESOME! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside. But, inside is very cool. It has the traditional old school café feel with a bunch of cool avionics history.

Don’t rely on Waze to get here, it took us to a residential house & then the actual airport — just drive on State Route 1 and you can’t miss the 3-zero, it’s very obvious. We arrived on a Wednesday morning and were seated right away. Roger We rolled in after a long night, so I was excited to see huevos on the menu. Roger The Mr. ordered a short stack. I stole a couple of bites and they were really good. Thick and fluffy, with a sweet vanilla punch that I am never able to replicate at home. Roger The coffee is strong and they do a great job of keeping it filled. Roger The huevos was a pretty solid plate, I had to kick up the flavor with some hot sauce. The beans and rice were straight forward, American style. Two over easy eggs, right on the edge of being under done, lay on the bed of comfort food like two pillows. Jack cheese hid under a couple of warmed up corn tortilla blankets. Roger Service was good. The server said some of the Giants frequent the place, and that’s an A in my book.

Mediocre diner with higher than average prices. It’s much better to go to Flavor or Sam’s or Chez Shea(my personal favorite) for breakfast. My experience on Mothers Day was waiting for 45 minutes for a table for 2, and then being passed up by 2 groups of 4 that walked in who got seated immediately. Ended up having to wait 15 more minutes, while those groups of 4 sat immediately. Even people on the list were getting scratched off ahead of us. I felt so disrespected that they wouldn’t seat the 2 of us, and kept seating walkins with 4, and after we had been waiting an hour. I voiced my complaints but they didn’t do anything to compensate. In fact the waitress I complained to then finally sat us at a table for 4, and it had coffee spilled on both the chairs on my side. I wonder if she did it on purpose. WILLNEVERCOMEBACKTOTHISAWFULPLACE! Trust me, as a 30 year resident on the coast, go somewhere else!!! (Try the Chilliquiles or Juevos Rancheros at Chez Shea in HMB instead… they are amazing) Update +and they screwed up both our orders. +and they charged us for 2 coffees when we only had 1 OMG the service is horrible here. They have no idea how to run a restaurant.

This restaurant is at the airport, BUTDONOTLANDHERE!!! Ate here years ago and it was good food and service. Not now. A half hour wait or longer for your food when there is hardly anybody here. Had two waitresses, a cook, one on break and a dishwasher. Plenty of help. Waitresses were more interested in talking to each other than helping the customer. Food was not hot. Over cooked food.

On our way to the beach, We stopped here to grab some lunch. My boyfriend and I wanted to try the egg Benedicts for ourselves after seeing the pictures on Unilocal.I got the crab Benedict and he got the crab cake Benedict. Our meal was delicious. The crab tasted pretty fresh and well seasoned. However, the only reason why it’s a 3 star, is the service. Our server seems nice, but we waited 45 minutes for our food. People who came in after us, got their food before we did. No one really came to check on us, although they kept walking past us knowing we were waiting for a while. When we ask our server to check on our food and told her we how long we were waiting, she seemed nonchalant about it. The food was good, just not good enough for me to wait that long for it.

I love the food, the scenery/view, and staff. Will come back again for sure. If you are in the HMB airport area, try this place and you will never regret it…

This is a cool little diner café right at the half moon bay airport by the runway. You can sit by the window and watch little planes take off and land. Aside from the cool casual venue, The food is solid as well. We had the amazing brioche French toast(loaded with blueberries and strawberries, the mustang burger(to my surprise served in a ciabatta bun, which was amazing) with hot crispy fries. The rice and beans are perfect for the little one as well. We just enjoyed the décor and the experience.

Deosn’t that crab frittata look good? Okay it probably looks better than it really was. The egg/crab was pretty much average. The potatoes were a bit on the soft side, I like mine a little crispy on the outside. The sauce was very citrus tasting. It was a good portion, since I wasn’t really impressed I only ate about half. Prices are pretty average for a Half Moon Bay restaurant which basically means food on this side of the hill is a little more than average. Service…“Roger that!”(If you have eaten here you will know what that means) Parking is not a problem.

We’ve been coming to this place for years and they are consistently good. They are really reliably good and it’s one of the reasons that nobody goes there anymore, it’s too crowded.

Walked in and was trying to find a large enough table for our party. Some waitresses saw us looking a bit lost and they didn’t even try to help us. They kept talking to each other until I asked them if the table was taken because a bag of food was on the table. We sat down and ordered. My orange juice was tasty and seemed quite fresh. When our food came out, a man brought it out and he was not friendly at all. We told him that the dish was wrong and he didn’t acknowledge us at all, just put our other plates down and walked away with the wrong dish. There was one lady with glasses who was the most friendly and who took our order. I had the chicken sandwich, which was quite tasty and I was surprised that the chicken was not dry. The fries were also good and well fried.

It’s taken me a few months to get back to writing about this place. And, after coming here three times and the food has been excellent to good, starting with the fish and chips. If you are a fan of the same at Flying Fish, just up the road, then this will be another opportunity to enjoy it here. The chicken-fried steak on the other-hand was not as fresh tasting as I’d like it. The huge pancakes were beautiful but not as good as they looked, tasting a bit like a commercial pancake mix, meaning they were large and good plain pancakes but not much more. And there is something about the service that is very uneven. Sometimes we felt welcome(like when we got here with about 30 minutes before closing), sometimes we felt like we were intruding. One time we got the owner commenting to US about how we shouldn’t have had so much food on the plate! WTH? The wait staff generally has been very nice and attentive but again, they have been hard to get hold of at times for the check or for a glass of water. The place does get crowded and there might be limitations as to how many people they can serve efficiently. So the upshot of it is that we are so-so to come back. If we knew that the food was always solid and the service was always done with a smile, we’d come back more often.

Okay, maybe I just don’t get it. My parents have been here a few times and after I picked them up from SFO, insisted we go here. There were 5 of us total(4 adults and my baby) and the wait wasn’t too bad(Sunday morning around 9am). So here are my issues: 1. The food just isn’t impressive. Hubs ordered an omelette, my parents got pancakes, I got a benedict… everything was ok, but nothing out of the ordinary. I’d say quality wise, its a step above Dennys. 2. Cleanliness – I didn’t feel like the place was clean at allllllll. The menus and tables were sticky. I wiped everything down with wipes and still felt kinda gross. 3. Service was meh. I got pretty irritated because like I said, we were a group of 5−−4 adults and a baby. We were seated right in front of the door where the servers come out of the kitchen, so there was NO place for my baby to be seated in a high chair(which I had requested). I ended up having to hold him the WHOLE time because there was no where to put him. I wouldn’t have minded waiting a little longer so that he could have a seat, but that option was not given to us. Other than that, everything was just on the ok/meh side. Its a cute idea on principle, but I don’t think we’ll be back.
