They always have a completely new staff every time I visit this dump. The prices are through the ceiling for basically less than Little Ceaser’s Pizza Quality(who might actually know how to make a decent pizza @ a steal). I would simply go elsewhere unless you are blind to a clear raping of you wallet. This troll could give a dam about customer retension and his employees are consisistantly on training as the owner needs further training also. They are way OVERPRICED and the owner barks @ his emplyees

My husband and I *love* this place! We order the same veggie pizza every time because it’s so darn good and we can’t get enough of it. They deliver and take orders online which is rare on The Coast but super appreciated!

Yummy pizza, huge slices. Ingredients are always fresh and tasty. The sauce is to die for. I’ve eaten here a few times and it has always been a good experience. The time we ordered, the pizza came timely and was as big as I expected a medium pizza to be. The crust is very doughy, so if you are not a fan of bready-y crust, be sure to try a slice first. The second time I came in with my boyfriend on a very busy three day weekend. The gentleman helping us out was clearly stressed but was still helpful and accommodating. The Hawaiian was tasty, albeit I hate shelling out $ 30 for a large pizza. However, this is a locally owned and run place and it’s a price I’m willing to pay for a small business owner! Would recommend to anyone.

Waited an hour and a half for cold pizza. Called and they told me they sent it a long time ago. Just got here and it’s cold. I told the delivery guy I wasn’t going to pay $ 28 for cold pizza with no sauce(???). So he took the pizza back and 90 minutes after my order, I’m still hungry. When I called them, they didn’t seem to care. Just said, «oh well, sorry.» The pizza as described on the menu didn’t say it wouldn’t have sauce or mozzarella. I ordered the pizza rustica. Gross, overpriced, and cold. No thanks.

Best pan pizza ever. We’ve ordered cheese and Hawaiian pizzas and they were both delicious. Not greasy at all… we love it here — the owner is awesome and very accommodating. We’ll definitely return all the way from San Ramon :)

The food is way to average to be so awful in customer service. Really needs to stop offering delivery as a service if they are not capable of delivering food in a timely manor. Also need to hire people who are capable of taking orders properly. After a hour and a half of waiting should not have to call and ask what’s going on. Then to get the food cold, and not exactly what we wanted. Shameful. They also have ZERO care about it. Basically, they should just fire everyone and start over or just get out of the restaurant business.

Their portions are huge! I got a salad and my boyfriend got a slice of pizza. We ended up splitting all of it and still didn’t finish the whole thing. The pepperoni pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had! The Caesar salad was a little over dressed, but still very tasty! If I lived closer, this would be my spot!

Ordered soup and focaccia bread. Poor customer service. Condescending manager correcting me on pronouncing Italian. Waitress didn’t know the menu. Took 30 mins for soup to arrive. It came in a dirty bowl. And it looked bad. The manager looked confused as to what the problem was. Focaccia never came. Then got an attitude about why I wanted a refund. Nice area. Crappy place. Don’t go there. Better to spend your money on taffy. Next.

I ordered delivery through the Unilocal app. When it arrived it was so soggy I couldn’t eat any. I called to see what could be done about. I was told«it wasn’t their problem,» and there was nothing they could do. In fact, they seemed schooled at telling Unilocal orders it «wasn’t their problem,» and didn’t seem to care that they had cooked the inedible food. I’ll NEVER eat in or order again. You shouldn’t either. Also, I’ve never written a Unilocal review, no matter how bad the spot’s been. So you can trust this was a doozy.

Best quinoa salad ever. The freshest ingredients and the best mozzarella I’ve had. I wish I lived close by.

+100: they actually deliver. Half Moon Bay is a delivery food desert, so this is awesome. I’ve dismissed this place from my Places To Order Hangover Food From list though, because I’m not a pizza eater and I just assumed it was all pizza. But today, I figured I’d allow myself one official Big Carb Cheat Day and check out the menu. I was super surprised to see that they have a ton of other options — pizza is but a fraction of the choices available. I decided I wanted all the things, but narrowed it down to a few(what I thought were) smaller options. Warning: portion sizes are MASSIVE. Holy crap. At least we have enough leftovers to feed ourselves for the rest of the fucking weekend. Fritto misto: okay, it’s bland on its own. The dipping sauces redeem it but if I’m being totally honest, this was a disappointment. Caprese salad: nice. HUGE. Liberal use of basil, which I highly endorse. I prefer my caprese with balsamic vinegar though, but we have some at home so that was an easy fix. Creamed spinach: yaaaaaasssssssssss. Husband also had a lasagna(okay seriously you guise, that thing was enormous) and an apple tart a la mode. I was impressed that they delivered it in plenty of time to avoid any major ice cream meltage. So the portion sizes justify the menu prices. I thought we were ordering typical pizza-parlor junk at strangely elevated prices, and now that the items have arrived and they’re roughly the size of Texas, I understand. Although the food isn’t super-nom-mega-delicious, it is actually worth what you pay for it. Delivery took almost an hour and a half from the time we placed the order though, so that was kinda annoying. But… solid effort, and now there are THREE places in town we can get hangover delivery food from! It’s almost like HMB is a real city or something.

Updating my previous review. I would’ve given 5 stars but am I kind of mad about something. When I paid for my Meatball Panini the price sounded kind of high($ 12.50 +tax). I grabbed a menu off the counter and saw the Panini should’ve been $ 9.50. When I asked the counter guy about it he told me they just raised their prices. I’m o.k. with inflation, but is it fair to charge people higher than the menu price then defend it with the prices were just raised and we haven’t put out the new menus yet? Not really cool. Oh well, it is what it is. In my previous reviews I mentioned the fries sucked. We’ll they’ve changed their fries and they’re totally awesome. The Panini was totally awesome to.

Honestly, overpriced and just mediocre. There are too many good pizza places around to settle for something ordinary and pricey. Seems like a little bit disorganized of a business, not that clean, workers don’t speak very clear english.

After landing in San Jose and heading into HMB after my flight, I arrived to a home of pizza from Spicoli’s. Now pizza in Austin is awful, just plain awful, so I was wondering what exactly California had to offer in terms of pizza. Apparently, not too much more. The caprese style pizza was plentiful in toppings, and offered more than enough food for 4 people, however, once you reach the crust, you may as well just throw it away. If I am eating pizza, I want the whole thing to be edible, not edible up until the point where I have to chomp into hard crust. I suppose for the Bay area this may be acceptable, but I would probably dip my toes in a few other pizzerias before going back.

Trash! Can’t follow a simple order. Resolution was to send missing toppings for ME to add to pizza. What I did taste was not even papa johns quality. Did refund my $$ when they came to pick up the order.

We made the mistake of ordering an xtra large. It was enormous. Seriously the size of our stovetop, actually a little bigger. That first night the pizza was underwhelming. Way too much cheese and too little sauce and pepperoni. I covered it in the red pepper flakes to give it some flavor. It needs some basil or oregano in a thicker sauce. The crust was thin and good, but the crust, sauce, and pepperoni was half the width of the cheese layer. However, something magical happened to the never ending gobstopper that this pizza has turned into during the time it spent in my freezer and fridge after that first night. It tastes really good now being warmed up in the microwave the next day and the next day and the next day. I would have given this place two stars on the first taste of that pizza, but now the reheated frozen and refrigerated pieces of that pie have earned this place 4 stars. I mean something truly magical happened to it over time. It is absolutely yummy as a leftover.

I have to say I’ve been in HMB all weekend and haven’t really been overly impressed with a lot of food places here(maybe I need to venture out a little more?) but this place… is…good! Their personal pizza? Not your average! 4 huge slices! I had the Puttanesca and omg was it delicious! Crust is perfect. Ingredients are fresh. Nice ‘patio’ seating with a big screen tv to keep you entertained. I like this place. Try it!

We ordered for delivery from Spicoli’s for lunch today and it was ok. But just ok. My daughter had spaghetti and meatballs which was the only thing we received that was delicious and my grandmother ordered the hot pastrami sandwich which was overloaded with lettuce and tomato. Hardly any pastrami. I also ordered the bruschetta which unfortunately was delivered burnt to us. I was really disappointed because it’s the only thing I got and it wasn’t baked correctly. I still ate it because I was hungry but the flavor was charcoal with some tomatoes and feta. The two stars are for the spaghetti. Won’t order here again.

Fabulous pizza. HUGE portions, great prices, fresh ingredients, generous toppings! Look forward to every time I order a pizza to be delivered. Don’t understand why people have left one-star reviews.
