Round Table Pizza

We wanted to see the Warriors game today, but we were camping. Anyway, we went to the Round Table in Half Moon Bay. Wow!
This is the best pizza place I’ve ever been to:
*Great Customer Service!
*Fantastic pizza, crispy, thin crust!
*CLEANEST & HARDEST WORKING CREW EVER!
*Well lit inside — NOT DARK!
Kudos to to this GREAT PLACE!

We have been to round table pizza anywhere and was surprised that this branch doesnt have salad bar and All you can eat Pizza… Geez. We opted out.
At 12nn the place was open but dark and looked not even prepared for customers. not appealing and salad bar was even empty. No crowd in other words, it was a dead place. We left

What kind of Business says there are open till 9pm and close befor 8:20 pm. This place needs to go to ½ a star or needs new management. Thanks for nothing.

Tried to go there tonight while visiting from Texas but of course they closed early. When I asked the manager why it says 9 he just laughed and said he didn’t put the hours any where. Do yourself a favor and drive 15 mins north to the one in Pacifica, they’re open until 10 as their hours state and they’re much nicer! Big disappointment!

Tried the Chicken Garlic Pizza and have to say it was Delicious! Considering the place is in a small town the pizza is one of the best I have had so far. Must try.

Yeah, it’s a family zoo, even though there are only 3 takes with customers, but that’s cool.
What’s NOT cool is that, although the place is mostly empty,… 30 minutes after ordering my pizza, I am told it will be another 10 minutes, … after I asked.
It ends up they dropped the pizza on the ground and forgot to make a new one.
At least they are having a good time behind the counter, watching the game on company time.

My review is based on the overall value of what this place serves. While the pizza itself isn’t totally gross it’s not really anything to write home about. My real gripe is their outrageous prices. I mean $ 30 for what they call an «extra large» pie that is about 12inches in diameter is absurd.
I got a «medium» that was about the size of a frozen personal pizza. I’m uploading a few pics so you can see what I’m talking about. This thing was nearly $ 20. Are they kidding. People of hmb… wake up! This is a total ripoff. You’d be much better off going to the grocery store and getting a frozen pie.

i rate em 3 star. i mean their piZza is always good esp. hawaiin and their chicken pizza its delish. its jst dat when i ordered chicken wings. it taste like its been in the oven cuz its hard and it doesnt taste like chicken at all they put way too much spicy sauce.

Why the hate? An old school round table that brings back fond memories in Little League. The pizza is always good and consistent. Ive never had a problem here!

Ok, because this is HMB, this is more like a «chuckie Cheese» than a round table. Family’s come here and take the leash off the kids, and let them run wild. I have tried to call my order in early, and the staff will put you on «Death Hold» to the point, I hang up as I enter the parking lot… We do not have many choices here, so I guess I have to suck it up

By far the best Round Table in the Bay Area. A great place to eat after a day in Half Moon Bay at pumpkin patches or the beach — the pizza is phenomenal and the atmosphere sublime. Perfect if you have kids with you, plenty of space and video games for them to play. The staff really makes you feel cared for and catered to, giving that extra mile that really can make your experience memorable.
Also, this place has become one of the best environments in Half Moon Bay to come and watch a Giants game, 49ers game, Warriors game or even a Sharks game (owner is a huge fan!). While this town features a lot of different options for dinner, Round Table has to be the best experience for groups, families, and sports fans.

A pretty typical Roundtable Pizza… but the service was wonderful. A woman Lizzett served me and she was super sweet, friendly, professional and a very nice to person to interact with. I don’t go to Roundtable often, but I was very impressed with Lizzett — she had better people-​skills than I’ve seen at 5 star restaurants. Great service, RT!

i HATE THIS PLACE…
i went there and the cashier totally mugged me and gave me a really bad additude… so what i did was talked to her RUDE too, and thats how she calmed her voice… i will never ever go there again, i ordered and XL and some hot wings for appitizers and when they where putting the wings on the plate one of them fell to the ground and they checked if anybody saw what happen and they sill put it in the plate… ewwwww never going there …

Don’t bother with this place. We ordered an Artisan Pizza and they gave us a regular one to carry out. When we returned after discovering the mix up they said we don’t serve artisan pizza! They took our order on the phone for one and specifically asked if we wanted artichoke and their web site shows it! I am frustrated and will NEVER return. If you do, good luck.
Oh yes, the Last Dishonest Pizza!

One of the older round tables in the bay area. They always seem to over cook my pizzas as well. They also have a small, limited selection salad bar. Customer service lacks as well. HOWEVER, I will most definitely give this place a very fair 3 star rating for having a decent size TV and a reachable remote for me to change the channel to watch my Sharkiez!

I can’t eat cheese because it makes me sick. I ordered a pizza with no cheese and they served it to me burned. Not a little burned, but burned on the top and the bottom. I’m surprised I didn’t chip my teeth eating it. They said that because it had no cheese there was no way they could make the pizza that would not be burned. They refused to try to make another pizza. They didn’t even offer to give me back a few bucks. I was hungry (long day at a pumpkin patch with a 3, 6 and 8-​year-​old), so I had to eat.
For eight years I haven’t been able to eat cheese and I’ve been ordering pizza with no cheese. Never have I had another pizza place serve me a burned pizza, even other Round Tables. Don’t pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining.
Honestly, I wasn’t that hungry after all because the 8-​year-​old puked her milk on herself and the table. I don’t think that was the Round Table’s fault though. She threw up after I got my food (not on it though, heck might have softened it up if she had), so I don’t think they were punishing us for that. We cleaned it up too, no sense in being jerks to the busboys, just because the kitchen staff can’t cook.
The kids did like the games and the 8-​year-​old didn’t puke on those.

This place was okay… a bit outdated. The change machine didn’t work and another ball machine was out. Our kids had fun though. The pizza was great. I think the salad bar left a little to be desired as did the restroom. At least there is a changing table in there for toddlers.
I admit that we are totally spoiled in SJ with a Round Table with a HUGE play area but this just doesn’t measure up. Food is fine and they were friendly but not much is exciting other than that.

I grew up eating Round Table pizza, it will always be one of my favs! This particular RT is great, wish they delivered– but its just that good– we’ll go p/​u.
Love the Veggie Gourmet– it holds its own next to the more upscale kind of pizza found in town.
Recently placed a large order for a large party, pizzas were ready on time– order was perfectly correct,

Horrible customer service. They gave me the wrong pizzas and refused to rectify the problem. I had ordered pizzas for $ 100 but no apologies — the manager refused to speak to us.

One of the nicest Round Table restaurants I’ve been to. The staff took pride in the pizza and salads that they delivered to our table. We stopped in for lunch on Sunday, and the place was pretty empty. As always, the pizza was good. They offered a full salad bar, which I discovered only after ordering side salads. Even so, the side salad was made to order and really nice for the price. Some video machines for kids to play. No TV in the room I sat in, but that was good for me. I don’t know if they have one in another room — that would be sad if there was an important game on. Overall, a nice place for pizza.
