Excellent Philly Cheesesteaks. Pizza and hoagies. Are not bad ether. The service is really fast and the restaurant is clean. I highly recommend them if you in the area.

Terrible service, someone answered the phone a half hour before closing and told me I couldn’t order 1 cheesesteak to go .id rather drive to philly with a hangover than ever eat a cheesesteak from this fake Philly cheesesteak spot. the also serve fake«tomato pies» they should probably keep those in Philly too Ha. good luck with that as you have a REAL Jersey tomato pie establishment like Delorenzo’s that’s been open since the 20’s next door

Cheesesteak is not a Cheesesteak. Food provides sustenance, about it. Good only in a time crunch.

I can only speak of the food/service I received on my first visit. Not sure how their hoagies or pizza would be, but I really enjoyed the cheesesteak! The small size was plenty. A soft, but chewy roll that didn’t fall apart and thick pieces of meat with wiz of course. Good portion of fries and a fountain soda all for $ 10. I liked their spicy ketchup, which seems to be ketchup with hot sauce mixed in. It wasn’t very crowded around 6pm, it seems like they may do a lot of To-Go business. Staff was nice, remembered the people I was with from a previous visit. They have a loyalty card that they stamp which I always appreciate. Buy 10 sandwiches, get one free. Casual atmosphere, I’d go again.

«Wit or Witout» ATTITUDE! Had lunch there today. Yes, it’s a bit expensive but when I received my large cheese steak with fries I ate three of them only to find out they were cold. I walked back up to the counter and politely told the guy at the grill that my fries were cold. He takes the fries, turns around and eats one. Then he proceeds to say to the girl back there with him that the fries«aren’t fucking cold». Then he dumps them back into the fry bin for someone else to eat. I expressed my concerns about him dumping fries that I just touched back into the fry bin and he gives me a hard look like he wanted to fight me. Luckily the manger stepped in a set it straight. I won’t eat there again!

Disappointed. I got the small«steak» with wiz and without onion. The steak was clearly frozen and had absolutely no taste what so ever.

This evening, 10/27/2015, at about 7:00pm, I visited your Hamilton, NJ location for the first time. I have heard so many great things about your company’s cheese steaks over the years and was very excited to find out one had come to the area! I ordered over the phone for pick up and all I could hear were what sounded like teenagers in the background yelling at one another to do stuff and somebody kept interrupting the young man who took my order. I ordered 2 tomato pies(one with cheese), 2 cheese steak hoagies(one with mayo and fried onions on a seeded roll), and 2 cheese steaks(one with provolone and fried onions on a seeded roll and the other with American cheese and no onions). Let me start by just saying that getting into your parking lot was a hassle. Navigating through Uno’s parking lot just to get to yours was even worse than just getting past the movie theater. I shouldn’t have to go through the movie theater entrance and another restaurant’s parking lot when it’s busy; there needs to be another way. Now to the food. Nothing I ordered was hot at all! In fact, not only was it not hot, but it wasn’t even warm or room temperature– it was ice cold! None of the steaks were as ordered. The cheese steak hoagies didn’t have any lettuce or tomato on them and the one with fried onions and mayo came with neither. One of the plain steaks had mayo on it with american cheese when it was not supposed to have mayo and the other didn’t have the fried onions. When you get this much wrong for one order, especially for a first time customer, it means you lose that customer for life! I will recommend any place over yours any day and will be sure to let my friends and family and all of my followers online know not to come here.

I order here for my office all the time. We had a relatively large order(20 different sandwiches) last week. I gave them the order the day before and each sandwich came out perfectly. The best part was that each sandwich was labeled with the name of the person who ordered it. In terms of quality I enjoy these steaks. I typically go with the chicken, buffalo chicken or the WoW chicken and they definitely don’t short you on meat or cheese. You will be full by the time you finish your sandwich. The fries are pretty good — we are a fan of the Philly fries. We will continue ordering from Wit or Witout because they make it so easy for us. The service is good(very responsive). Online ordering is simple and when I have a big order I give it to them the day before.

An outstanding cheesesteak, offered chopped or «flat»(unchopped, old the school Philly way), with excellent bread. Very good fries as well. But the real surprises here are the hoagies, made with seeded rolls and very generous meats and cheeses. I’ve oredered both an Italian and a turkey hoagie here and they were very very good(and only $ 5 on Wednesdays!). Another surprise here is the additional menu item of Philadelphia-style tomato pies, which are cookie sheet-sized rectangular pies topped with chunky, herby tomato sauce and grated cheese, typically offered in Philly-area Italian bakeries(Conshohocken, Coropolese, Marchiano’s, Cacia’s, Gaeta’s). The version here is surprisingly good, with a good fermented dough, stretched thin and crispy, topped with a well made sauce and a good amount of grated cheese. Staff here is pretty enthusaistic about their place, and that makes for a nice atmosphere. I wish them well.

This place is awesome! Great spot to get dinner before going to the movies since they are right in the same shopping center! Clean, quick, super friendly service. Awesome cheese steaks and they just added some more salads and wraps to their menu – FRESHGRILLEDCHICKENMADETOORDER! Can’t get better than that! They do catering too – what a fun way to have a «Philly themed» party!

I ordered the tomato pie and was pleasantly surprised! I ordered takeout so can’t write about eat in. I can say that it was very clean. The person who took the phone order was polite as was the person at the register, even though there was a line. As for my tomato pie, it was really good. Gravy was sweet with a touch of garlic. The crust was thin and crispy WITHOUT being burnt. I will be back. Next time for a cheese steak and fries.

Service and the bread used for the cheesesteaks gets 4 stars alone. The employee who helped us didn’t rush us while we were deciding what we wanted. This being our first visit, ordering took a few min. I had a chicken cheesesteak, with provolone cheese. The chicken was moist, with a slight garlicky flavor. I loved the bread. It had an outer layer similar to a bagel, with a soft inside. French fries were crisp on the outside while soft on the inside. The fries were dark, almost looking burnt, but in no way did they taste burnt. There is a condiment bar by the soda machine. Various spicy peppers, and sauces may be found on the bar. They also offer hoagies, salads, pizzas, and chicken tenders. As we were cleaning up, employees came over to ask us how everything was, and gave the kids some temporary tattoos. If we lived in the area we would definitely be back.

My husband is born and raised in North Philly, we’ve been together 8 years, and have been to hundreds of cheesesteak places, in PA and NJ. I thought we should try this since they claim they’re from Philly. The cheese fries wit whiz, entirely too salty. Felt like you needed a drink after the first 2. The chicken cheese steak wit american cheese wit fried onions. Not great. Definitely had better in PA and NJ. I would not recommend this place for chicken cheese steaks, it wasn’t the worse but it wasn’t the best .it was mediocre to say the least. Ugh sorry

Went to try out the cheesesteaks since this place is new. Was disappointed that their specialty item was less than mediocre. Service and décor were great but if you want a real cheesesteak, there are better places in hamilton to get them. There are also plenty of other places to get some tastier grub before/after a movie around amc. I split a cheesesteak wit-whiz and a chickensteak wit-american with my boyfriend. I did enjoy both cheeses which are melted and hot. But they apply the cheese on top of the sandwich rather than inside. The uneven distribution made eating the steak a huge mess. The cooked onions were also on top of the sandwich with the melted cheese. Which makes me think that they were not cooked fresh with the meat. Both meats were cooked well but did not have much flavor. Because I enjoyed the whiz and american cheese I do wish I had tried the cheese fries. I think I will only be going back to try out the cheese fries.

Nicely done décor with red as the base color. The cheese steaks were wonderful and full of chopped meat. Get a small if you are a decent eater but get the large if you are starving or can have a decent appetite. Leave the fries and onion rings, they just weren’t worth the money and the taste was not good. The pepper bar was tastefully done and you should try a little of all of them to find your taste. This place is great for a cheese steak that is tasty, filling and good now if your look for authenticity then jump on 295 right down the street and go to Philly. This is great for the price and great for amount they give you. If they can improve on the fries and onion rings that would be nice. ** Next time I’m going to try the cheese steak salad! Some ladies came in and ordered that and it looked tasty.

Wit or Witout certainly looks like an appealing place to eat for a guy myself who recently relocated to this area from the Philly area. First thing I noticed was the pricing — wayyyy overpriced for the type of food, but I decided to try anyway. I arrived at the restaurant shortly after the online tracker feature on the website said that my order was ready. The cashier was new and understandably had some issues, but the other counter girls seemed to be giving her a an attitude about not knowing exactly what to do. I wrote this off to maybe they are all just having a rough shift. We’ve all had rough days, though the customer should never be aware of it. Next up was getting the food. One of the seemingly more experienced counter girls grabbed a part of my family’s meal and plops it on the counter then goes to locate the rest. While grabbing my food, she grabs another order for someone she called«mom». She proceeds to reach in between me trying to check my order for accuracy to hand«mom» her order and proceeds to tell her to hurry up because«people cannot wait for her just because she’s a princess». I’m pretty irritated at this point, and proceed to check my order. Then the counter girl tries to hand one of my bags to another customer right in front of me(bag had the receipt with my name clearly on it). I tell her that this is my food, and that other food is missing. Hearing this, she yells over to «mom» to hand over her the bag back that she was given. Turned out this bag was my food. After checking twice that all of the food was there, I expressed my frustration of this being my first impression of the restaurant and left. After a literal 5 minute ride home, my family and I open our food. Everything, except some chicken tenders, are ice cold, so now we have to microwave the food in order for it to even be edible. As for the quality — the cheesesteak was tasteless and the fried onions were not fried much. Fries were ok, but the cheese fries were aweful bc reheated cheese wiz is never good. The chicken fingers were really good. And the tomato pie was stone cold, but the sauce was decent. Overall, my first impression of Wit or Witout was awful. Just another overpriced food franchise WIT zero concern for customer service and zero concern for food quality. You won’t see me back there ever again.

Decent food, but expensive for what it is. Their«special,» half a cheesesteak, soda and french fries is $ 10. That’s a little pricey for lunch. They are located in a convenient location. I work nearby so I will probably come here often for lunch to avoid the trek up to Route 1. They are open till 2AM on weekends and are next to the movie theater. Hopefully they can last longer than the next-door ice cream shop that closed.

Wit or Witout did ok, being this location just very recently opened for business. The staff seemed friendly and knowledgeable, the wait time was reasonable, and cheesesteak was tasty. In addition, there’s a self-serve soda fountain and a small condiments bar. Décor was warm and inviting, but no ceiling, so its a bit noisy inside. I got a large classic Philly steak… cheese wiz with onions. Though it was good, thought they were a little skimpy on the meat for an $ 8.30 sandwich. UPDATE… my second visit to Wit or Witout was a bit underwhelming. On my first visit, I took their«new business» status into consideration. To compensate for the underfilled sandwich last month(see above), I decided to try the«double meat» version, called the Uncle Paulie. That too, failed to meet my quantity expectations for a $ 10.99 cheesesteak that could very well be made by any pizza place with same ingredients for less money. Since I do work nearby, I won’t completely write them off, but in no rush to come back, as there are many other local eatery options.

Definitely, «Witout!» It’s not that these folks didn’t put a lot of money into furnishing their place next to DeLorenzo’s Pizza on Sloan Avenue, right off I-295. It’s not that they don’t have nice people working behind the counter, or that the prices are out of line. No. It’s much simpler than that. The Cheesesteak just stinks. The meat was tasteless, there were barely any fried onions. The roll looked much better than it performed. The American Cheese was the only flavor in the mix. Very disappointing. And, somewhat surprising. After all the hullaballoo about coming out of Philly and representing that it was«All That,» Philly Eats, it was just a big fail. The only thing to compare it to is the experience of going to Pat’s or Geno’s in South Philly. Great for a tourist who doesn’t know better, but not places a real cheesesteak lover would choose to dine, knowing how poor those grease pits really are. It is difficult to fathom what these people are intending. They won’t survive if what I ate today was representative of the best they have to offer. Jersey knows cheesesteaks. Every pizza shop prides itself on this one product. The Trenton area makes great tomato pie, pizza and«steaks.» We may be Philly fans, but don’t insult our taste buds. Once and done. I’m Outtahere!
