My pulchritudinous girlfriend and I stopped in for a Sunday dinner and were completely disappointed. We were seated quickly and our server, Victoria, greeted us in no time. So far, so good. She took our drink orders(white Peach teas) and waters. She returned with the drinks in a fair amount of time. The teas were so sweet, I’m almost sure I now have diabetes. We also ordered the crab and artichoke dip — which we never got!(But we were charged for it…) We both ordered 6 oz. Renegade steaks. My girlfriend and I both ordered our steaks medium. Mine was perfectly cooked. Hers was slightly undercooked. The flavor however was delicious. Our salads arrived AFTER we got our steaks. Sigh. Did I forget to mention the bread that you are supposed to get before your meal? Victoria forgot the bread too. We never received any. She did apologize and say it was her fault, but I had to bring it up and it was after we paid our bill. We ordered two delicious pomegranate teas to go and Victoria appeared visibly perturbed that I asked her for straws… The on duty manager went to several other tables to ask how their meals were, but we were not afforded that opportunity. The food was good, the service sucked, so I won’t be returning. When we dine out, we want, deserve and pay for the full Monty: food, service and atmosphere. You won’t get all three here!

Food was good, the manager did stop by the table to check on us, and there were no glaring missteps by anyone, but there also was no magic about the place.

The restaurant was clean and hardly any customers where there at 3pm when my spouse and i got there. Took server 15 min to come over with menus. Then after we ordered, took 20 min for our appetizer to come out. The appetizer was their version of another restaurant chain ’ bloomin onion’.(almost a half vidalia onion. sad) Was good. I ordered my entre salad, but when it arrives, there is no dressing on it and my tomatoes are mushy. My spouses side never arrived either. I waited 10 min for server to come out but my spouse had to go to the seating person and ask for our server. Server finally came over, and by that time, my spouse was done with his dinner. My salad then came back from kitchen soaking in dressing(it was also the WRONG dressing). I was almost done with my dripping salad when manager came over and asked how things were and spouse said our dinners are over and I’m still waiting on my side dish. 5 min later mgr comes out and gives spouse his side. Spouse has Mac & Cheese side and the top was burnt. We did not even get a refill on beverages. We paid the bill, and I even gave 15% tip. However, this is ANOTHER restaurant on Mercury Blvd I will never go back to again. Save your time & $$ because the people who work at this place do not give a sh*t. Other Longhorns restaurant locations are NOT like this.

Craving a nice piece of steak. Unilocal reviews were highly recommended. Convenient to the place we were staying at. The price was well worth the meal. Got the 16 Oz Tbone and baked potato, coed to order, no complaints.

When I crave steak we normally go here. It’s never hard to get a table(never a long wait that is). The service is always good and fast. I’ve never had a bad steak there. unlike other places that can be either good or bad. I’ve tried numeral items from their menu and I’ve liked them all. I like the interior design, very country. I don’t have much to say other than it’s a good place for a good dinner.

We always go to this restaurant for the Porterhouse for 2. The first 3 times were great. great food great service. then on our 4th visit the steak came out undercooked but the service was good. Last night we decided to try again. We walked in and the hostess greeted us as well as other couples that walked in. She let us know they were wiping booths down and it would only be a few minutes, she then came to seat one couple but said ‘I’m not sure which one of you people were here first’ LOL. Anyways. We sat down in the booth and waited for a server. As time went by I became very irritated because no one acknowledged us at all. There was a waitress taking an order at the table beside us so we thought maybe she will give us a head nod or something if she is our waitress. After more time passed, we talked about leaving but then a manager came to the table asking if anyone came over, I said no and that we we’re going to leave. Showing that he cared he took our entire order, and within 3 minutes we had salads and drinks which was brought by him and another waitress. Then finally the waitress came over and dropped 2 coasters, never apologized or anything. She did bring our second drink order and did ask if we were ok. Thank you Danny Salaad, we stayed because you cared. To the waitress, a little acknowledgement or a sorry or even a my bad goes a long way.

Driving through and popped into the location for quick lunch. Sat at the bar service was prompt professional and friendly. Ordered the blue cheese salad wedge and it was one of the best I have had. The sirloin came out and was cooked perfectly med rare. Very good. They also served bread and whipped butter which also tasted good. Atmosphere is how I like a steak place. A little dark lots of wood and casual. My big issue at the place is no wi fi. These days its almost a joke not to have it. There were plenty of buiz clientel at the bar working on buiz calls etc. No excuse not to have it. But food was good no doupt. Solid 4 stars.

Went to long horn for dinner tonight. We got margaritas, they were awesome! The crab artichoke dip was really good too. We both got the prime rib it was amazing! Tender, juicy melt in your mouth goodness. The best part was our server Jim, he was fun and really made our experience memorable. Plus he’s a real cowboy-type so it was real authentic. The manager stopped by to check on us also, very nice guy. We had a wonderful time.

If you are going to claim to be a «Texas» steakhouse, make sure you can cook a piece of beef. This place is a shameful representation of Texas food.

I’ve been to this location a few times and have enjoyed my visits overall. It is fairly expensive for the area, in my opinion. We decided to go after work yesterday to avoid the HRBT traffic home. We walked in and a hostess«greeted» us. By «greeted» I mean she mumbled something we could not understand under her breath and told us she would be one minute. She walked away, I could not hear her explain why she was disappearing. We briefly debated leaving as my husband hates feeling ignored or put off. We also briefly debated sitting at the bar. I noted right then and there that the hostess had the personality of a rock and they really need to fix that. When someone walks in, about to spend $ 20pp+, especially in this part of town, you should be awake, cheery and fresh. It’s your job. If you don’t like that part of your job, go do something in the back where you don’t have to talk to people. I also am a first point of contact at my job. When I have a bad day, I leave it at the door. It’s also imperative to speak out loud and speak clearly. Not under your breath, not in between your teeth. Open your damn mouth and speak clearly, dammit. So, eventually she returned and muttered that she was sorry for the wait and said something yet again that I did not understand. There were no others in line, the place was not too busy and we could see tables for miles. We had the best server. Wish I had his name. But he was fantastic and on point the whole time. We had quite a bit of food between the complimentary bread and butter, spinach dip and chips and two entrees with premium sides. I say«premium» because they cost us a buck or two extra per person. I have read a bunch of reviews about the steaks and how they are not cooked properly. I can tell you we each ordered medium and that is what we received and both were great. I had Flo’s filet and he had the 18oz. Sides were yummy, dip and chips were good and our server was fantastic and super attentive. We will be back. But please, please for the love of God, get a hostess up front who likes her job. We all have bad days — but leave it at the door. If your one job is to greet people, welcome them and seat them — do it well. It doesn’t matter if you sort mail, clean a floor or simply smile and talk to people — do it like it’s the best damn job you ever had and you’ll see greater opportunity arise.

I came here as I received a gift card, boy am I happy I did! Pros: Nice ambience Waitress Janet was fabulous and attentive Food was great! Started off with the FREE app– thanks LongHorn email sign up! Chicken fajita roll ups. Man they loaded it! Wasn’t a fan of the free bread– Outback has much better. Then for the meals. Fiancée’s meal came with caesar salad side it was HUGE! His peppercorn steak and potatoes was quite yummy. I ordered the tavernhouse sandwhich. I am not a huge fan of well done meat– and that is the only choice for the sirloin here. The beer cheese sauce is not the best either– very light. However the little onion straws and french fry seasoning is great. Cons: Not being able to cook meat to order for the sandwhich. That’s it! Worth a trip! :)

Ordered a fresh steakhouse burger medium. Got a cold burger with a rotten tomato 36 minutes later. This place has gone downhill really fast. The kitchen manager tony said he was with the health inspector so he wasn’t dong q. c Sad that they don’t take ANY pride in the food they send out. Never going back.

Still getting the good vibes here. Such a big change, from my first experiences with Longhorn(over salted food in Glen Allen VA). We had two opportunities to dine here within a week. On both occasions, our food came out as ordered, hot and well prepared. Our server(s) were attentive. I find Longhorn a touch on the pricey side, as far as chains go. However, I will pay the price, if it keeps me out of Lone Star, or Outback. Recommended.

We are a fan! We went there to check them out, since we’ve been eyeing them for quite some time. We went there and were skeptical at first because we had kids with us. But as soon as we walked in, the place was very calm and serene. It was quite relaxing. The staff were superb and my daughter loved the foods and attention she got from the wait staff. We had a great time. We will be coming back.

Our steak was good, our appetizers and salads were good. Our asparagus was burned pretty badly and yet they served it to us anyway. Our server was bad. We had to flag her down numerous times because she wasn’t coming back. We didn’t see her for about five minutes after sitting down, and then after she took our drink order, she dropped off our drinks and left quickly before we could let her know we wanted an appetizer. We managed to find her about 20 minutes later and order our appetizer as well as our meals. We had to ask for our salads to be brought to us before our meal; usually they are just brought out. A manager brought our entrée, which had clearly been sitting under heat lamps for a while. Longhorn is hit or miss. This location was a miss because of the service.

Nothing but good things to say about this restaurant! And I NEVER review restaurants but I had to in this case. Excellent service. We ordered a crispy shrimp appetizer that came with ranch. Shrimp and ranch not a good combo BUT our awesome server made us a cocktail sauce that was DELICIOUS and spicy. For a Friday night was surprisingly not busy at all. Steaks were great. Cooked just the way I wanted. We will be returning.

Le sigh… my husband took me here because I love steak and wanted a good one however that did not happen. Ordered a steak cooked medium, it arrived well done. The server apologized and had another one cooked for me. This time the manager brought it out to me and waited for me to cut into it to check it. I didn’t need to cut it as it came out dry as a bone and black as a hockey puck it too was well done. The manager personally went to the kitchen to oversee the cooking of my 3rd medium steak. She brought it out and you betcha it too was WELLDONE! She apologized and made excuses as to why her cooks were unable to prepare anything other than a well done steak that evening. The server was awesome, it wasn’t her fault but I was totally disappointed because I didn’t get to eat a steak that evening. I’ve gone twice more and both additional trips have been just as bad. I won’t be going again.

This was an okay chain restaurant to me. Nothing jumped out as particularly good, but it was enjoyable. The food from their pretty large menu has decent flavor, and the prices are alright. They ran out of one of the standard menu items(not a special) during my visit, which was disappointing. There’s a wide variety in the drink menu, with a few unique-seeming cocktails. The décor is warm — mostly wood and brick, with brown and orange coloring. The staff is friendly.
