I should’ve read the reviews, this place is horrible. The food is horrible everything tastes so horrible. I’ve had bad food before but this is ridiculous. The only thing that was good is the sweet tea. 11/16/2015

Your standard Chinese buffet, nothing special although they do offer sushi in addition to your typical choices and a couple of rolls were actually not disgusting. The staff was a bit more cordial than a few other places I have tried that were of the same caliber. In closing, I wouldn’t return here on my own.

If you go here, don’t pay with a credit card. Our party all had cards compromised after eating here on 7 August. Cards were cloned and swiped for a test. Everyone had a similar small swipe at the same place before large charges were made. Oh, yeah, the food. Typical low end Asian buffet.

My husband and i went in for dinner tonight. I really like their cheesesteak roll thingys, but tonight they didn’t have them, and my husband likes their tuna sushi but they didn’t have that either :(dissapointed. Our waiter was not around when my water was empty. Tried to flag down 2 other waitresses that were nearby, they ignored me. I got up with my empty water glass and went over to a table with water and tea pitchers and poured my own water. The waitresses didn’t even flinch and they were standing right there. Also they have cleaning products on the same table with the pitchers and silverware, this has got to be a health code violation. They were squeeging the hall floor that leads to the restrooms. I almost fell twice, it was really wet! Food was ok, service was terrible.

Out of every Chinese buffet I’ve been to this is definitely my favorite. There’s a huge variety at a great price. The food is always fresh and hot. But it also depends on the time of the day. I can’t say much about the sushi or hibachi because I never eat it. But there’s plenty of variety and it’s very well prepared. I’ve been there a fair amount of times and I’ve had nothing less of a satisfactory meal and experience. The only complaint is have is seeing the staff on their phones or something while I’m waiting for a water fill up.

This place is good if you think your getting hot food and it is cold. Pork chops cold, rice cold, chicken cold. We got our food and sat down and the server came over and gave us out bill and just stood there. For goodness sake, we just sat down to eat and they want you to pay your bill!!! I can see why, the food is completely terrible and dried out and cold, someone needs to call city as they are not keeping food at proper temps. Ok, this is another disappointing restaurant that we will not go back to. Save your money its not worth it

While not amazing, the food is decent and there’s tons of variety. I especially like the hibachi and fresh made sushi. I love the koi pond in the front too! Negatives: they can be a bit slow with drink refills, and I wish they’d have snow crab legs again.

First of all, the sushi pictures on this page ARENOTACCURATE. We went because we got these coupons, and once I looked over their website and this page I figured — why not? I could go for some affordable sushi. However, this is NOT a sushi bar. They have sushi, yes, but the selection of the sushi is so limited it makes me wonder why they even have it at all. I found it to be very misleading — perhaps a way to get more customers — and was unimpressed. If you’re going to advertise a lot of sushi, then you should deliver on that promise. All they had were regular california rolls, a couple cream cheese rolls, 3 types of sashimi, and one type of fried sushi. DON’T go there for sushi. Beyond that, though, they had a wide selection of Asian foods. I tried to orange chicken(tasted like your typical Chinese fast food joint, a dime a dozen) the spring rolls were undercooked, which is disappointing because I can honestly eat just about any spring roll you put in front of me. Don’t even touch the Mac&Cheese, it doesn’t have anything that even tastes like cheese in it. Overall everything was extremely hit or miss. I liked a few things, for the price, but honestly it’s just a typical, run-of-the-mill low-quality buffet place. Their waitstaff was great, and were always there to take away our plates, but other than that — this places blows. Go to Soya.

Very large buffet mixed with Asian and American food. Food is good. There is a hibachi station and sushi. Items are fresh at the buffet, but this last time grossed me out. The hostess had a electric fly swatter killing gnats or flys over the salad/fruit bar. Who knows what bugs were falling back into the food. That was a huge No, No! Thankful I never eat from that part of the buffet, but what a careless act! They should invest in covers for their food or something.

First time at this particular buffet and as of right now it is my favorite chinese buffet in Hampton Roads. We usually go to Hibachi Grill because it’s closer to our house but I think I will try to come to this one more often now. I usually always get sushi, salad and soups at these buffets cause I can’t stomach the greasy food so much and the sushi here was great! The pieces were huge, fresh and delicious. I was pleasantly surprised that they also offered nice pieces of snow crab legs as well on the buffet. They had a decent selection of baked and steamed seafood as well which made me really happy because I don’t really like a lot of fried food. I’m also a sucker for wings and was happy to find some wings with a sweet sort of honey glaze on them and I mean real wings not that breaded, fried wing nonsense! For a buffet a great choice!

So so food. Everything was sub par. I guess that’s what you get in a buffet. I am visiting from San Diego maybe I am just a little spoiled.

It’s consistently good been there 20+ times and the food is always good. I like the nonchinese food better than the Chinese food. They have the best seasoned pork chops I’ve ever had. The parking lot is crowded so parking is hard to find sometimes.

With the exception of Peking in Williamsburg this is probably one of the larger buffets I’ve been to. It’s located in a good ol’ shopping strip which is not in the best part of town and when you enter and look around you can definintely tell by the type of patrons they attract. The patrons are rude, loud, will mean mug you and are extremely dirty, which I partially can blame the inattentive waiters as well. You can tell the lack of class(if buffets really have any to begin with) by the photos on the wall. They have this wall of shame type thing going on where they post surveillance shots of people who have ate there and didn’t pay-pretty much people who got free meals near the front of the waiting area. Not a great first impression if you ask me. Anyway, there is plenty of seating here, the times I’ve been it always seems to be busy-during lunch, dinner, weekdays and weekends. The staff is pretty diverse from white, black, hispanic and Asian folks working there but what they do have all in common is that they all look like they hate their job. But I would too if I worked there and dealt with most of the people who come to dine in. This place has plenty of options foodwise, they have about 3 tables worth of sushi, some lines of fried food, desserts, rice, veggies, American foods like pizza, mac n’ cheese, chicken, fish and the grill in the back. The selection can be quite overwhelming but once you taste some of the food surely you will be disappointed. I have this friend who goes ape shit about this place and I’m still trying to wrap my head around it. The first time I went here I was just astounded by the amount of sushi they had but upon closer inspection I realized that this is your typical buffet sushi, a.k.a «not fresh». I don’t eat any of the meat products and even as a seafood lover I am way too skeptical to dry any of their cooked seafood. I’ve had some of the veggies and rice products and they were just okay, for the most part decently seasoned and not undercooked. Overall, this is a cheap place to get stuffed and probably throw up later from food posioning. Be careful what you eat, especially from the sushi side of the restaurant. Expect typical crappy buffet customer service and rude patrons. I think I’ve been here way too much than I would like to admit and don’t see myself rushing back for medicore food.

Buffets sure are popular in Hampton! It’s wasted on me but for $ 6.95 it’s no biggie. TONS of food. A big selection of different foods, so it’s good for groups for individuals with different tastes: carbs, meats, fried foods, etc. There is an obscene amount of food. The sushi bar was my FAVORITE thing – tons of different sushis, clean and fresh. The two men stand the entire time behind the sushi bar and make fresh rolls the entire time. A lot of cream cheese rolls, tuna, etc; and some veggie, too. Their seaweed salad is good. There is SO much fried food so if that’s your thing, you’ll love it. The chicken and meat are fatty looking to me though. In the back to the left of the hibachi, there’s a grilled meats sections with steaks and sausages. No one goes to these places for salads, but the salad bar looked REALLY disappointing. Dessert: small ice cream cups, cheap cakes, puddings, fruit. The fondue bar is supposed to be the highlight(it’s in their advertisements), but it’s really low quality chocolate and it’s runny, thin, and cold(fondue is usually MELTED, WARM chocolate, right??). I didn’t do hibachi, but I looked it over. It seemed like a big selection to throw in there. Ambiance is cool. In the front they have a big fish pond with hundreds of goldfish. It’s kind of loud inside because of all the groups, but whatever. Our waiter was okay. He was nice, but he wasn’t very attentive; we had to ask for our drink refills – three times(once for each person in my group!). Oh, one gross thing – I thought he was just taking our glasses away to get rid of them, but I found my old straw in my refilled drink when he came back. I got paranoid it was someone else’s glass cause it’s so busy and it’s probably easy to get sidetracked. Next time, I’ll make sure to ask for a new glass for the refill!!! I mean no major complaints – lunch is ONLY $ 6.95. I’ll definitely be back for sushi and seaweed salad! TOTALLY a deal for $ 6.95!!! I’m surprised by the low stars for this restaurant. I’m not quite sure what people think a $ 6.95 buffet is supposed to offer them. Champagne and caviar? Suggestions: Get rid of the salad bar!!! Even the lettuce leaves look sad. More high quality dessert items(suggestions: cookies, strawberries) If we have to get new plates for the buffet each time, I suggest waiters give us CLEAN, NEW glasses for each drink!!! The fish pond water looked dingy and unclean. Not something you want to see before you eat.
