Figaros Southwestern Grill

Was pleasantly surprised. The prices were reasonable. I enjoyed every bite of my chicken burrito. The portion was huge, had to take some home to finish later. We will definitely be back.

First visit here and the food that we ordered was delicious! My husband got the dos tacos (pescado) plate with rice and whole beans, and I ordered the steak nachos. We also got the ceviche which was so good (a little spicy for me but it didn’t stop me from devouring it) and it came with just the right amount of chips. I loved the idea of a salsa bar, but I didn’t have the chance to get any since it had to be refilled. Everything was fresh and the open kitchen is wonderful to watch the food being prepared. Although it was rather busy, our food came out in a timely fashion. Just have to keep an ear out for the number being called especially when the restaurant is crowded. it can get pretty loud! I have no complaints and I cannot wait to come back to try the mango salad and a burrito!

Favorite restaurant in hanford. They always have great food. Mango salad is hands down my fav. Though I also love the veggie tacos. My kids love this place too. Fav for the whole family and vegetarian/​vegan friendly.

Today, was my first visit to Figaros Hanford location. Normally, I go to their location in Tulare.
At Figaros, you ALWAYS get a delicious and plentiful meal at a affordable price. This afternoon, I ordered the Crab Quesadilla, since the Egg Plant Quesadilla was seasonal.
The portions were generous and quickly filled my appetite.

I ordered enchiladas with shredded beef. However, the young lady with a bunch of tats at the cashier decided to order me steak enchiladas. I took a bite in to the enchiladas and did not like what I got. So I decided to approach her about my order only to be told what I ordered was not on their menu. I told her I got some shredded beef enchiladas 2 days ago and she gave me story about kitchen managers, advisors and lobby groups! I luckily ordered an extra taco that was huge but tasted just ok. I don’t like beans on tacos and eating a taco with a fork? I received bad service and was upset with the quality of the food.

I’m LOVE with this place! Everything on their menu is tasty– from their Mango Salad to their Sopes, to their refried beans and their salsas!!! I’m proud of this restaurant. Every time I’m in Hanford, this is my first or second stop.
The service is fast paced, so don’t expect a waiter/​waitress to check up on you. They bring your food to the table, you refill your drink at the soda fountain and grab your own salsa.
All I can really say is that if you’re reading this review, eat here! You won’t be disappointed.

One of my favorite restaurants. The prices are great for the portion sizes and I have not ordered a dish that I didn’t like. Awesome salads if you are eating healthy too! I can’t wait for the Fresno location to open!

Came in for an early lunch and was surprised to find that not only were people in the restaurant 15 min ties before opening, but they were being served. The food was really good. While I would consider this restaurant «fast food» (a step higher than Taco Bell), the food is definitely not «fast food» quality.
The chile verde enchiladas were great!
Will definitely be coming back!!!

When I walk into this joint I am instantly reminded why i love to come here. The smell is instantly gratifying that this established not only cooks unique Mexican cuisine but also offers a clean place to do it in. Keep coming back

Always good. food is fresh and fast. Different styles of salsa to mix n match with your meal. One of our families favorites for a health different Mexican meal.

Doesn’t smell like an authentic Mexican food restaraunt but it tastes delicious. It’s pretty busy yet customer service was great. Great cooks. Well maintained

This place is the bomb. Always clean, everyone is always nice and the food is always great!!!
My favorite is the chop chop salad with chicken. This salad has a little bit of everything in it except the kitchen sink.

Every person needs to try the chicken mango salad, ever since I moved to hanford and was introduced I always recommend it and love bringing my family when they visit. This last week I came twice to bring my family and ordered the salad as well as burrito and they loved it. So we had to come again before they left. Try to avoid lunch hour around 12! Always excellent service! When I decide to try other items I will update my review.

me and my girlfriend got a couple of burritos to go from these guys today. I got the chile verde and she got the pueblo. I was satisfied with the size and taste of mine. it was pretty big and tasted good and was smothered in green sauce!.. hers was a little bit different. side by side hers was like a third smaller which was kinda weird. and it didn’t have the sour cream which was promised by the menu. that coupled with the grilled chicken breast made for a bit of a smaller drier burrito if you’re into that kind of thing… they do have a salsa bar and all of the salsas were good so I was diggin that. all n all we’ll probably come back at some point but it might be a lil while.

Good meal, great service but MUY overpriced.
After my shopping was done I decided to try out this place since the ratings are currently at four starts with 64 reviews, can’t beat that.
At first when I arrived inside I had no idea that it was a order and sit down place. I had the impression I had to wait to be seated but the employee on the register flagged me and was a great help in ordering since it was my first time here. Felt like I was paying top dollar for a fast food type of feel restaurant, almost like Taco Bell if they were was a fancy spin off somewhere in Beverly Hills.
I couldn’t help but to be astonished on the prices they were posted. But the family wanted to proceed so I decided to get the Shrimp Burrito with rice and beans added. Guacamole and chips for appetizer also.
Food was good, didn’t complain there but a bit plain, and Americanized. Nothing wrong with that but Chipotle burrito is much better but they don’t serve Shrimp.
Anyways back to the restaurant it’s clean and has fountain drink machine with salsa bar for all types of tongues. The employee Jose was a great help and a nice person, thumbs up for him. Overall I paid $ 31.00 a little steep but I seen worse.

Id have to agree with Jorge M. The food really does not live up to these reviews. You all need to take a trip to an actual city and try good food. Have to say Baja fresh is better! Also what’s up with the chunky diced tomatoes, I feel like they cut one tomato into 6 pieces. Food is greasy (like all Mexican food) but instead it’s that very greasy grease not flavorful yummy grease.
Not here to bash Figaros but come on people, your taste is bland if you like this place! TRY TACOS EL GRULLO in hanford!!! OR JUST A ROACH COACH (aka taco truck). Hope my review was helpful only being honest. If I were rating the cleanliness 4 stars

Large servings, fast service, friendly staff made for a very pleasant visit.
Music was distracting, not relaxing or soothing after a long day.
Lots of seating, wooden chairs are not my favorite so I was not willing to sit back and take my time.
Every time someone stood up and scooted their chair back it was like running your nails across a chalk board. GRRRRR
If it’s not busy, they will bring your order to your table. During peak hours they will call out your number and you have to go up to the counter for your order.
I’m spite of these negatives it was overall a three star experience.

I have yet to eat a bad meal here.
I am not very adventurous when it comes to trying new dishes (that’s what my husband is for). For some reason I was craving a shrimp taco the other night, and I knew this place had one on the menu. I ordered a shrimp taco and carne asada as back up. The tacos are a little on the pricey side, I think the shrimp was $ 3.15 and you only get 3 shrimp on the taco.
The taco came w/​the 3 grilled shrimp, cabbage, cilantro and cheese on a corn tortilla. I got mine sans cheese. The taco was very delicious, and it came w/​some type of creamy sauce. The shrimp was cooked perfect and had no fishy taste. It was so good that I pushed my carne asada taco to the side, and focused soley on the shrimp.
The price and the attitude of the employees is what is holding me back from giving 5 stars, a lot of the time if I am going to spend a lot of $$$ I want to be in a sit down restaurant w/​wait service, instead of feeling like I paid an arm and leg for fast food. The food is great though, so I will be back. I will probably order my food to go.
