Great meal, great service. Pablo took incredible care of our party of four. He even kept our leftover food for us in the cooler as we played craps at the casino. We will be back to see Pablo and his team. Thank you!

Regular guest of the downtown location for 30 years. Family members hoped for a special Easter experience and had a terrible food experience. We gave a review to opentable and prime rob but got no response! Come on — for long time customers we expect better than that

Great location, so you don’t have to travel to VA or DC all the time. Though I love the location of the DC restaurant much better, this location offers the casino, outlet shopping & better parking if you don’t want to valet. I ordered the Chicken Oscar, Lobster Mac & cheese, Au gratin potatoes. My bestie ordered the Crab Cakes which were a little on the tiny side but they were lump with corn on the side. The food was not too great like the DC Prime Rib, but I do love the décor much better at this MD location.

Just when I think it couldn’t get better, it does! I just did my review for the Midtown location and now I am doing the one for this location. I am here because my mom loves to gamble and she bribes me to bring her via buying me food. This was her first time here and we both got the signature prime rib. They were exceptional!!! The appetizers were filling and good enough to be an entrée. The oysters Chesapeake is standout and the calamari had a very fresh and not overly fried taste. Our sides were creamed spinach and the fries cooked in duck fat, double yum!!! Our swerved, Tom, was attentive, polite and on it with making sure our experience was stellar. Loved, loved, loved my experience from top to bottom! I love the atmosphere in that there is live piano playing and the dim lighting feels very grown/sexy.

Dinner for 2 here on a Friday night. Reservations seem to be important for timely seating in the dining room. Keep in mind that this is a casino restaurant and priority casino patrons can override the seating queue for regular diners, as happened to our party. Now on to the dining experience. The food quality was excellent, if not a bit pricey, but that is to be expected for an upscale steakhouse. We ordered the 8oz filet and the crab cake platter with a side of roasted asparagus. The beef was cooked just right and the crab cakes were spot on. Finished with the crème brûlée, also excellent. The service was also excellent, aside from the initial seating issues. Our server, Jesse, was very attentive throughout the evening, even though we were seated in the lounge. Timing of the courses was well planned. And the service manager certainly tried to address earlier seating issues. Great service overall. As a side note, the live piano was excellent and added to the ambiance. The restaurant also has a very nice smoking lounge, if that’s your thing. And a great jazz band starts in the lounge around 10 pm, on Friday at least. All in all, a great dining experience slightly marred by a bad seating experience. Great place to burn your Maryland Live! comp.

This was to be a special night for a friends birthday, as he just lost his wife. Had to ask for a different table as the smoke From the outside smoking lounge was awful. Service was nil waitress was never around. We finally just made her stay at the table just do we could order everything. This was after waiting over half an hour. Dinner was so/so for the price. Never saw the waitress again yo see if we wanted desert or coffee. Had to go ask someone to get the waitress to pay the bill. Said she was outside talking to people. Would never go again. Much prefer Capital Grill or anyplace but this. They have to many chiefs walking around znd not enough Indians.

I’ve never been disappointed. The service is excellent to go along with the delicious food. Also, the dining atmosphere is definitely on point. Barr none, this place can compete with any restaurant in the DMV. Highly recommend!

So many disturbing feelings tonight in an upscale restaurant where I was treated blatantly less than, questioned as to whether I was«sure“of my order, then overcharged. Of course, I hold it together and tip well but understand „we’ve not overcome.“ We’ve been tolerated.» I’m so pissed. The food is great, the service was horrible, and staff deplorable.

We seated ourselves at the bar. It seemed like forever for us to get the attention of a bartender who seemed to be enjoying the conversation of other customers. After sitting for about 10 minutes, we were FINALLY acknowledged and our order was taken. After almost 30minutes ANDNOFOOD, we were told that there was a back up in the kitchen and our food would be out shortly. We watched as other people received food. We weren’t sure what the hold up was, we both ordered the same exact thing — CRABCAKES! Maybe they had to go catch the crabs, pick them, and make our meal. I was very disappointed — UNTIL we were both offered a complimentary dessert of our picking! Yum! The bananas foster that I had was absolutely divine AND partially made up for the wait that we had.

Came back to to see Paublo and our service and meal was incredible once again. Would have liked to have seen a few menu or app changes. Our usual party of 10 knows everything on the menu by heart. We spend ALOT of money in this place. A complementary bottle of wine would be nice.

The prime rib was like the size of my face. So big and so juicy it was amazing. The service was also on point. Great place for special occasion.

Bottom Line: Fancy schamancy and while every casino needs a ritzy steak house, there are other places to get your prime rib on. If Maryland Live! Casino didn’t have a steakhouse I would be disappointed. However, truth be told, I don’t think Hanover, Maryland is really the place you want to venture for a nice night out that will run $ 75+per person. For me personally, I’d rather go to Baltimore, Annapolis or someone with a little more ambiance and romance. Anyway, the atmosphere and décor is very nice and reminiscent of a fancy steak place in Vegas. Additionally, they have live music in the bar on some evenings. Service was great and the hostess and wait staff were all very attentive. For fairness of this review, I’d like to note that I sat in the bar which has seating at the bar itself, some large high top tables and a few regular tables. Something that is nice about the bar is they have a happy hour menu. Items on the happy hour menu include prime rib sliders, jumbo fried shrimp, prime rib dip sandwich and hummus. The happy hour here was good and I would return to the bar for some casual bites and brews but I don’t see me having date night in the restaurant for the reasons noted above.

One of the best places to go to celebrate s birthday, especially on a weekday night. You practically have the high class restaurant to yourself. I’m torn as to which steak to recommend because they are all so amazing! The Signature Prime Rib is a hefty serving and the meat is very tender. The Sirloin is more my speed, but I still couldn’t finish the dish. Looking back I should have skipped out on appetizers because it was all so much and oh so good. Plus you’re at the Maryland Live Casino. If you go most nights there’s someone performing at Ram’s Head. So now you have dinner AND a show. #Winning

Wow! My meal at The Prime Rib was one of the best I’ve had in a long time! I went last night on a date and let me just say that the service was incredible. To start I had the French onion soup which was delicious. The cheese was perfectly coating the bowl with the right amount of broth and bread underneath. I will absolutely order the soup again. For my entrée, I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium which was cooked to perfection. The right amount of tenderness inside and crispyness on the outside. We split the mashed potatoes and asparagus which were also very good! Overall the service was top notch and the food was just as great. I will absolutely be back again!

I had dinner here the other night. Walking in my party was quickly greeted and sat at a table. I had the crab cake, my table mate at the file mignon. We were both very happy with our selections. The price point for this restaurant is very high. The staff seemed to be board so they did way too many table check ins. Over all the staff seems very stand offish. I asked for wine recommendations and you would have thought I had three heads the way my waiter looked at me. I wasn’t overly impressed. I still think I prefer the Baltimore location better.

Save your fortune and high expectations for the casino! We were looking forward to some luxurious prime rib, velvety potatoes, and a quality of service to be expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Sadly, the experience was as bland as the dried-up horseradish shavings adorning my plate of $ 40 prime rib. The calamari from their Italian menu was the best thing they served all night. Perfectly cooked calamari, garnished with the surprising zest of peppadews. Yum! We both ordered the signature cut prime rib, medium rare. What we got was a slight dry, medium well prime rib, garnished with a side of pre-grated horseradish and a couple tablespoons of jus. Our potato gratin was a sad sad bowl of insert expletive. We waited oh so patiently for that velvety and cheesy potato accompaniment, to help me forget the mediocrity of the prime rib. Sadly, it didn’t live up to the hype. Undercooked and under-seasoned. And the service, or should I say, what service? Our server failed to do the minimal tasks of filling up our water, not slamming the plates on our table when they brought it over, and clearing away our dirty plates after new dishes were brought. He assumed that my choice of wine as the cheapest on the list, insinuating that best was not cheap. No, actually… I was just trying to make up my mind on whether I wanted a glass of wine versus a bottle. Rude. Slow. Pretentious. Abysmal. It reminded me of an Outback Steakhouse experience years ago. Except we didn’t pay $ 200 for the meal/wine for two. It would take A LOT of convincing and perhaps a glass of really good vino for me to give Prime Rib another try. No jackpot here!

It seems to be a love and hate relationship about this place, I didn’t love nor hate the place. My date and I came on a Thursday night for a nice dinner before we test our luck at the tables. Luckily we went home with a little somethin somethin… Anyways, it was our first time at Prime Rib’s and we wanted to try a variety of things. So we order basically order everything off the menu. Jk For starters, we ordered the lobster mac&cheese, the seared tuna, and a half dozen of oysters. Then for our entrée, we ordered the surf & turf(crab cake & filet mignon) and a few side dishes. The steak was a bit on the dry side even though we ordered it medium rare, but all-in-all the food was mediocre,… would I come back? I may give it another try sometime in the future. Hopefully the quality of the food has improve at that point. Although the food was very ordinary the service was decent. Our server was very attentive to our needs and making sure everything was okay.
