One of my favorite places for breakfast in town. Almost always a crowd but the service doesn’t suffer as a result. Plus its always fun to look around in the store section.

One of the best places for a decent breakfast in the area. Expect it to be a little packed, a lot of people frequent this location. STAFF: Friendly hostesses, they normally keep conversation with you while you wait for seating. The waiters//waitresses have always been nice and conversational. Usually they suggest good picks on the menu if you’re having a difficult time choosing. FOOD: I usually request the biscuits and cornbread for starters. So, so good! The food always comes out hot. Many things to choose from. Breakfast they’ll only provide the breakfast menu. But during lunch and dinner you can request a breakfast menu. Many beverages to choose from. Service is always pretty good here. It’s a great place to take the family or a few friends for breakfast or any other meal of the day.

Going to Cracker Barrel just reminds me of real country home cooked meals. I haven’t been there in years. Went tonight and loved it. It was perfect.

My husband and I love this place!!! I had the chicken fried steak, with brown gravy on the side, mashed potato, mac and cheese, and turnip greens. It was good… I never thought of sprinkling some vinegar pepper in my turnip greens, and oh my!!! The flavor of the turnip greens was delicious with it!!! My husband always have the pecan pancakes, and an omelet. The pancakes has this crunchy edges and moist in the middle. The maple syrup just makes it so delicious!!! We love dining here because we always have a great service. But we always ask for«Keyeon» as our server if he’s working on the day we dine. If I could give him more stars in his apron, I would give him five more… he’s very attentive, quick in getting in and out of orders… He has such a great personality and awesome customer service… We don’t have to ask for additional drinks because he’s very attentive… So, if you all decide to dine at this Cracker Barrel. Always ask for«Keyeon», his service will not disappoint you. Always service with a smile!!! And your food will always be right and hot!!! Thanks Keyeon for your great service as always, and Keep up the awesome job you do!!!

Cracker Barrel never fails me, I love the breakfast. The Grandma Breakfast is no longer listed on the menu but I still order it. There are plenty of things to look at in the restaurant if you have a little wait. The staff is awesome, I’ve only had one bad waitress at this particular Cracker Barrel and I’ve been here at least 10 times. I definitely recommend this place to all who would like to enjoy a good meal.

I felt like gorging myself in a hardy breakfast. Danyelle was my server & she was great. Very attentive & sweet. I ordered the Grandma’s Breakfast which came with my choices of sunny side up eggs, hash brown casserole, pancakes, thick sliced bacon & my sweet tea. The atmosphere was very western/modern but homey. Needless to say, I enjoyed my first dining experience here. I mean when you walk in, there’s a gift store so I thought no way this is actually a restaurant. Pretty funny. The hash brown casserole & pancakes were probably my favorite. The hash brown had a little cheese mixed in it so it had this awesome texture. If you’ve ever been to IHOP or Denny’s, I can guarantee you, these pancakes are much better and the outer layer is crisp & doesn’t have a tough texture or weird look that the one’s at Denny’s &IHOP’s pancakes. The only problem I ran into was the cashier at the gift shop. She was RUDE as hell. She had a sour attitude but it’s ok because if she was my server, I would of just got up & walked out with the food untouched on the table.

Stopped in for a late lunch, on a Monday. The staff members greeted me and seated me quickly. My server was friendly and well attentive to my requests. My order came out in a timely manner and was delicious. I will definitely be returning for another visit!

Staff/Décor: Saw mixed staff: Caucasian, Latino, black; both male and female. Friendly and energetic. Décor was appropriate for a homestyle country theme. Busboys were rotating throughout the dining area and ensuring clean tables and waiters contributed in helping to pick up dishes. Food: sweet tea made with sugar instead of simple syrup(great job). grits were plain, biscuit was soft and buttery, gravy was appropriately seasoned for the mass audience taste, chicken fried steak was cooked thoroughly and breading was of medium texture(exactly what I would expect for this dish), hashbrowns with cheese and onions was delightful, smoked sausage had the smokey flavor overpowered by the heat from the black pepper, Mac and cheese was overall fairly good, macaroni were over cooked but the cheese sauce saved it. Customer Experience: waiter service was attentive without harping and was available when needed. As we were leaving, almost every single employee bid farewell and said thank you. Wait time to be seated for a party of 9 was about 25 – 30 minutes. Ratings(1 – 5) Food: 4.5 Cleanliness/Décor: 5 Customer Experience: 5 At this particular location in Harker Heights, TX, I would definitely recommend it since the pricing of the food is comparable to what you would pay at the nearby IHOP and you will feel as though the money spent is worth the proportion served. Inside the restaurant is also a gift shop.

I love Cracker Barrel mainly because of the cute store they have! I want to buy everything in that store I swear! My food was delicious! I had the country Fried Breakfast with country fried chicken. For a $ 7-$ 8 dish I got so much food ! The biscuits was hot, buttery and yummy! The chicken was moist and delicious, the gravy needed some salt but the best part was the hash brown casserole, it was so good! It was a great way to start our day!

My husband and I love cracker barrel but when visiting this location they didn’t add one of the sides(mashed potatoes) I ordered to my dish and when i asked about it the waitress told me I couldn’t get that side with my dinner and in addition my chicken was cold. And my husband ordered the catfish platter and they gave him a side plate with a small piece of fish(size of a chicken finger) and literally a couple of fries. When we requested the manager she had the food remade upon our request but didn’t apologize for the inconvenience. Also we witness our waitress had spilled a side dish on a customer the next table over and when returning with a new one she managed to spill that as well.

I’m going to keep this short and sweet. Pro: Probably the best place in Killeen to have breakfast. :-/This is very telling of what we’re working with around here. LOL! Con: Everyone wants to eat here on Sunday after church. Which makes for long waits for a table. Then a longer wait at your table, because the kitchen is swamped. Overall, it gets the job done. My food is never cold. My servers have always been nice and we keep coming back. So it’s not awful but it’s not the greatest either. But I’ll take what I can get.

The food was good. I enjoy that they have a little game to keep us occupied while we wait. The menu is huge and offered breakfast and dinner at 6pm. The waitress was the best part. She was perfect.

My first experience at a Cracker Barrel and I loved it! I came in with a party of 3 on a weekend morning for breakfast — only waited about 5 – 10 mins even though the restaurant was pretty packed. Service was prompt and attentive, and the food was really good! I had I think it was called the«Country Momma» combo with eggs, choice of meat, and pancakes. Omg the pancakes are as close to perfection as you can get! crispy along the edges and buttery, melt in your mouth center. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy and I stole as many bites off his plate as I could! Good service, great food, good prices. If only they would open one closer to home!

I been here twice and the food is good. The only thing wrong with the restaurant is the service. Once you get in hope that there is not a line. Most of the time there’s a line. But the part where you really wait is from the time you sit until the time you eat. Good luck enjoy your food but expect a wait.

Went for breakfast with my family(who lives in Killeen) before we headed back to San Antonio. The floors were disgusting… my shoe was actually stuck to the floor and I had to have my husband help lift my leg to get it unstuck… gross. Also, the biscuits and gravy was nasty, no salt or flavoring and seemed like they gave me the old stuff at the bottom, the decaf coffee tasted burnt and my husband and sister in law tried their new egg bake breakfast with fruit… it was old and tasted like they dumped a bottle of oregano in it. My husband requested another meal, which was less expensive and they still charged him for the sucky egg meal, same with my sister in law. We will no longer be going to any Crackel Barrell ever again. I’m done.

While my husband and I were visiting family in Texas we took my mother in law to Crackerbarrel! My husband and my mother in law ordered the chicken and dumplings which were very good! I ordered the meat loaf dinner and it wasn’t bad. However I liked the sides better, which were Mac and cheese and something else which I forgot. The meatloaf wasn’t that great, but it wasn’t bad either. Just wasn’t my taste. Nice place to take your family!

Love this place! All Cracker Barrel’s are homey, but this one in Killeen always feels the most comfortable. This is a great place for breakfast on Sunday mornings… get here early and you’ll beat the church crowd :)

We live far away from the nearest Cracker Barrel, we have heard from many friends and family about how great was it. We decided to visit my wife’s sister in Texas and they took us to CB, I have to say that we were not disappointed at all. We arrived on a weekday early morning, we were sited immediately. The food was really good! From the pancakes, the eggs and the fruit parfait! Being a coffee drinker and a coffee aficionado I was not impressed with their coffee, even though it was fresh, it was not bold not mid flavor. The overall experience was great, I recommend this place and I certainly will be coming back
