Who said I needed to drive hours out to get a taste of awesome food. This is a very small mom & pop like restaurant. I have passed this place a thousand times, missed it a thousand times BUT I finally stopped in. Now I have only learned of this place through word of mouth like most of the other places I visit. I do not regret it one bit. Food is great & the girl here was extremely nice. Although I have not tried out the rest of the menu, I do plan on it. If you’re a shrimp person, I do say try out the shrimp fried rice. This place could be easy to miss unless you’re looking for it. Other than that, give it a shot, go go go!

This is one of those hard to find, hole in the wall, amazing places you occasionally find. I would have given them 5 stars, but the waitress(the only waitress) was rude. Rolled her eyes, and got upset that we called in our order, and we wanted to eat in the restaurant. She thought it was a to go/carry out order. Not sure why that upset her since they hang even started our order. Guess she didn’t wanted to be a waitress tonight and serve people.

This Korean restaurant is great. Their Galbi was so tasty, and all their vegetable side dishes were good. Their yaki mandoo could have been crispier but I was OK with it. Waitress(islander/big Asian lady) needs to improve her customer service.

Authentic, well prepared, and plenty pretty well sums it up. If you want Americanized Korean this is not the place for you. This is the real deal. Give it a try.

I came here on 2÷21÷15 with a large group for my best friend’s birthday. We came because her boyfriend knows the family that owns the restaurant and had been going here for years for the«Korean bacon.» Killeen/Heights have many decent Korean restaurants. I would rank this one among them. The 4 stars are not for how the restaurant looks on the inside or the outside, but based on how the food tasted. I ordered the seafood jigae(spicy soup) and had no shame in eating everything in my bowl. It came out in a sizzling hot soup(had to add a few ice cubes to cool it down). I was sweating with a runny nose by the end, but it was totally worth it. All of the side dishes I tried were good. I also sampled some of the Korean bacon and it was yummy. Whenever I’m back in the area I would love to try something else.

Authentic. Been here twice, both times it have been excellent. The place looks like a bit of a dive but the food is worth overlooking the lack of décor and unique smell of the place. Everything is made to order and piping hot when it arrives. We have never been to Korea but as self proclaimed foodies that love all things tasty and cooked with passion; this place gets a big two thumbs up from us.

Went here with the family while visiting family in TX. The place itself isn’t the nicest however the food definitely makes up for it. We went here twice during our visit to TX and had the following dishes, galbi, spicy pork, fried potstickers, bulgogi with fried rice and spicy squid. All the dishes were great and so were the side dishes(banchan)!!
