We ordered online and found that Kyo had a great menu for adults and children. They were ten minutes slow on the delivering though, but when they delivered, they were very nice to us. the food was amazing and I highly recommend the teriyaki salmon. The prices were totally reasonable. Everything was perfectly cooked and coated in sauce which created a lovely and enjoyable dinner. Anyone with a love for Japanese food will love this place.

Still an awesome place to be. This is the like the Cheers bar. We have been back and it seems like everyone in the place knows the brothers! Awesome food, service, and platters for catering out. I recommend the Fanshi and Hartsdale rolls and always enjoy the spicy jalapeño yellowtail. They treat us really well so we love it.

Ate here once, picked up once. Enjoyed all of the food. Probably could even give them 5 stars. Very fresh fish.

Our favorite sushi place. From the day they opened, they have consistently made excellent food and provided amazing service. We are locals, and on such evenings when we don’t feel like cooking, we like to get sushi takeout — and we won’t order anywhere else, Kyo is simply the best.

Highly recommended and definitely worth the 20 minute trip up from the city. This is your one stop shop for the very best sushi. Prices are good and the ambiance is casual.

The good reviews are well deserved. Not terribly fancy and that was fine. Nice to have the sushi made a few feet from you. Staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The sushi was delicious. We had a few different pieces including the Crystal Roll in the picture. Very nice presentation and everything is very fresh. We ordered another roll, the Yellowtail Jalapeño and as it turns out that was our favorite. I also had a salmon avocado hand roll not pictured. So, what is in the picture, a hand roll, the Yellowtail Jalapeño, a large hot sake and a bottomless green tea all for $ 61. That is a good value for good sushi in Westchester.

This place is super-fast, super-friendly. It offers reasonably-priced Japanese sushi, lovely presentation, feels fresh. The fried rice is really, really delicious too. Definitely will go back! For our first meal, we had a great Tekka Don Buri, with sashimi piled up on top of a bowl of rice. All the rolls we had(winnie, sakura, california) are very good too. The steamed green yasai veggies was mixed vegetables — only $ 3.95. Only one item I would NOT recommend: the vegetable gyoza. These dumplings are small, flat and the little bit of filling inside is mush. Have no idea what it was.

Five stars for the lovely service. Incredibly nice even though we were the last ones to leave on a Friday night. Scallop roll was very good. Sushi had a bit too much rice and my friend didn’t really enjoy the crab roll which was imitation crab and sort of tasted like tuna salad.

It was fine, though I’m not sure why the exceptionally high rating. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things: I got a chirashi and Heather got just a sweet potato roll. The chirashi was ordinary. The sweet potato roll(made with tempura sweet potatoes) was rather bland. That said, the food was served quickly by a kind, attentive waiter. Definitely can’t do better in that department. Price was average. There was a smell in the restaurant that we didn’t love.

I had a gathering with a group of people(7 in total) for lunch. I asked to choose nice signature rolls picked and bring them. When I made a reservation several days before, the number was 9, but it became 7 on that day and they did not know until few minutes before our arrival, but they did not complain at all and welcomed us. They gave us soup AND salad, and we got sushi appetizer, which was salmon with avocado slice and ikura on top. It looked really nice and the thickness of salmon was very good. Then, we got 7 different types of signature rolls — sunrise roll, kyo maki, winnie roll, yellowtail with Jalapeño roll(which I tried for the first time and was amazing), crystal roll, ocean roll and Geisha roll. They were all really delicious. They picked the ones based on the fact I do not eat tuna… they remember my preferences, too. They were all delicious, artistic and of course the service was great as usual. We are always a big fan and we will certain be there again very soon!!! All of the people attended the gathering were very impressed and enjoyed the food and the atmosphere very much!

Quality sushi, excellent service, great presentation, metered parking lot across the street, fair prices, free green tea. We came on a weekday night and food was served quickly and we didn’t have to wait for seating. We ordered the sushi deluxe and the maki combo(choice of 3 rolls — I ordered the spicy yellowtail, spicy tuna, and salmon and cucumber) and enjoyed it all. Food came out quick as well. Would definitely return.

After reading the reviews on Unilocal my wife and I were excited to try a new restaurant for our anniversary. We made a reservation and headed down to discover this wonderful place. We loved everything we had which included Shumai to negamaki to our sushi for two dinner. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that two of the specialty rolls were included in the entrée. They even made us a couple of special rolls that weren’t on the menu. I didn’t get the waiter’s name but he couldn’t have been nicer to us. Also sent us a fried cheesecake to celebrate our anniversary. We can’t wait to go back.

After days of heavy eating from the holidays, my brothers and I wanted something light so we decided on sushi. I usually go to Kaito in Bronxville but we had never been to this place before and noticed it had high Unilocal reviews, so we deiced to give it a try. Located right off Central Ave, Kyo is a relatively small restaurant — there are a few tables situated along one side of the restaurant with the sushi bar on the opposite side. The décor is simple — light wooden tables and chairs which works well with the overall theme. We started with some shu-mai which were lightly steamed and tasted great. For my main I decided on two rolls: the tiger roll which consisted of crabmeat, avocado, tobiko, and shrimp tempura with spicy mayo, and the midori roll which consisted of avocado, cucumber, and chicken tempura with a green Peruvian sauce. Both rolls were super fresh — they tasted great and were high quality. Service was awesome — everyone was really friendly and made sure we were taken care of. My only gripe with this place was all the food did not come out at the same time; my brother’s entrée came out first, followed 5 mins later by one of my brother’s rolls, followed lastly around 7 minutes later by the rest of my brother’s second rolls and my two rolls. I can overlook it though because the service was superb and the food was awesome. Definitely a place I would return to!

Very pleasantly surprised to find such a good and affordable sushi spot. Everything we tried was delicious, the avocado salad is a nice starter. I loved that the gyoza was crispy but not greasy. I had the Fanshi Roll, because I love spicy crunchy tuna anything, it tasted fresh and was a good flavor combination. Other awesome thing about this place is the service. I was catching up with a friend and love that our server gave us time and checked in at appropriate intervals. Our tea and water was refilled often. Really great dining experience, I will be coming back often!

Made reservations on a Saturday night at around 7pm. Got there and the table was ready for us. Derek came by right away and greeted us and took our order. He and the wait staff checked up on us often and were patient while we tried to get organized with 4 toddlers in tow. Darryl the sushi chef/owner came from behind and gave us some california rolls while we were waiting for our food so that the kids wouldn’t get hungry. We ordered many rolls including the Winnie Roll, Boston, Yellowtail Jalapeño, etc. Derek made a few good recommendations — definitely ask him if you’re not sure what to get. Also, I noticed how this restaurant seems to have a lot regulars and the customers/owners greeted each other like family. It was very sweet. Can’t wait to be back!

Kyo is that cute and cozy-feeling restaurant in the Hartsdale Strip. Service is speedy here and you will not wait long for your order. Kyo’ food is authentic AND most importantly, it’s entirely Japanese! Tonight, we decided to order take out, we ordered Miso Soup, Eel Roll, Salmon/Avocado Roll and Spider Roll. Kyo’s sushi is well made and they do not cut corners on their seafood. Always a plus for me.

Place was delicious! My wife and I love sushi and have difficulty finding a decent sushi restaurant in the area. We ordered gyoza and the sushi boat for two(with the lava and tiger rolls as the specialty rolls). Everything tasted so fresh and the service was excellent. We placed our ordered and it came out so quick! The bill came and was surprised at how affordability it was with the quality provided. Only downside is that it is street parking(however there is a lot across from the restaurant). Wouldn’t be surprised if this became our new date night spot.

I was surprised at how good the sushi was. I usually go to Ichiro in White Plains but am totally making the switch to Kyo. The spring roll I ordered was delicioussssss! No joke I started eating it while I was driving home because it smelled so good. In addition to the spring roll I ordered the tiger and volcano roll, and a maki combo. Seems a bit aggressive but my eyes are bigger than my stomach. Both rolls tasted fresh and I really enjoyed them. The maki combo(eel avocado, salmon avocado and spicy tuna), all were good too. For the price you can’t beat it! I definitely plan on going back and recommend this place for people who live nearby.
