SpaceX Mezzanine Cafe

This place has great staff amazing prices and great food and coffee, takes a lot to get to Mars and Spacex feeds the minions right …

Wow… if only my work place had such a cool café! My friend who works at Space X gave me a tour of the facility and part of the tour was the eating area. There are 2 dining areas with different options. I browsed the 1^st floor and the 2^nd floor. The 1^st floor included «pre-​cooked» food, cafeteria style. The 2^nd floor is more of a «made to order» based on preferences and such.
I ended up going with the 1^st floor option. Today’s theme must have been «Asian» food because all the options included some type of an Asian cuisine. The phở was calling my name and I answered it, the broth was lighter than what I’m use to but still good. I wish I had a bigger stomach to try other things, but then I saw yogurt and yogurt urges won.
Today’s yogurt included strawberry and chocolate. I went for the swirl, best of both worlds. The guy who served the yogurt was super generous with the toppings as I asked for pecans, walnuts, and chocolate chips. Tasty! The texture of the yogurt was firm and overall, not to sweet.
I hope I get to have another chance to eat here some time in the future since the café isn’t open to the public.
