Does not actually deliver despite what Unilocal says.

The Pesto Pizza was really really good. Great vegetarian dinner for a very low price. The delivery was fast and we were able to personalized our pizza with some artichokes and extra garlic! Yum!

Amazing! I travel over 40 minutes just to get this pizza! I special order and it’s always perfect!
The owners and staff are delightful! Please come and support this local eatery! You won’t be sorry!

I decided to try this place as there was a $ 10 Unilocal deal. It was good not bad with the Unilocal deal.
We ordered green pizza it was veggie worth to try not bad.

Terrible pizza and clueless delivery people. They were not only late but they screwed up my order. When I called the restaurant location, they were rude about it and left me few options in rectifying the situation. To make matters worse, the pizza wasn’t even good. I could and should have just ordered from Pizza Hut! It would have been better and cheaper.
Really guys?! Pizza is not supposed to be that difficult!

Wow! This place was amazing! We came out to see The Human Contortion and Dennis Is Dead play here tonight and the staff at Pizza Ultimate were great! The pizza was hot and flavorful, they had my favorite beer on hand and best of all, they support local bands and the Bay Area metal scene. Thanks for everything guys!

This was literally the worst pizza I’ve ever seen or tried. After checking out reviews, pics and their website, it looked like a great, family-​run pizza shop that had great ties to the community. I was totally in.
My boyfriend and I ordered a large bbq chicken pizza to go. Online it looked like it had lots of chicken, with cilantro, what we got was a not so big soggy pie, with WAY too much bbq sauce, very little cheese, small chicken bits, and some chopped red onions spread around, no cilantro to be seen and it came out to almost $ 30.00 for the large pizza and wings. The buffalo wings were completely soggy and didn’t even look like wings anymore, just congealed piles of oversauced lumps, you could tell what happened, that they had just been sitting in the sauce for waaayyyy too long and not properly crisp-​fried to begin with. (I tried to think of why and couldn’t come up with a reason, it was not like they were waiting an hour for us to arrive, and even so they wouldn’t look like that).
I will eat almost any pizza and will even eat dominoes wings, which are not so great, and we unfortunately threw both the pizza and wings from Pizza Ultimate out. They were so unappetizing, we wanted to give them away, but didn’t want to offend anyone. We also thought about going back and showing/​telling them, but both employees seemed inexperienced and we just didn’t have the energy to deal with it at the time. Our hearts sank having to throw out food, but it was so terrible! This was probably the first time that I’ve been truly horrified by the food somewhere, even crazier was how much it contrasted with everything I’ve seen here on Unilocal and on their website, saying everything is made fresh, etc. It was like a big piece of soggy crust with probably a half inch of BBQ sauce and then dried up chicken bits and onion spread around, when I took a bite (my only one) the cheese just slopped over because there was so much BBQ sauce underneath.
Also, we did order pickup, but I had considered eating there after seeing the pics online, since it looked like a cool place to watch the games. Well, besides the two young employees there, (who were both nice enough), there was one other guy sitting at the counter. There were ZERO other customers and for some reason on a Sunday afternoon at a large capacity pizza joint, during football season, the only TV that was on was turned to some game show.
I was really, really shocked. The wings and pizzas posted by other reviewers look great, and what we got was NOTHING like it. I really wish I had taken a picture in retrospect. I really hope the guys who made the wings and pizza that day were brand new or filling in for the regular cook, because otherwise I’m at a true loss as to how this place could have so many outstanding reviews for the food.
I will give some leeway to a place if it is doing good in the community, because that is really important and harder to find these days, but the food should be decent as well and here it absolutely was not. Again, I will eat anything from Pizza Hut and Dominoes, to Chicago deep dish, to Amici’s, Chuck-​E-​Cheese Bdays, home made, etc. and this was the worst. If someone has some sort of explanation, I would love to hear… I’m really hoping that management changed or they are having some other issues, or something to explain why the food was so bad.
UPDATE: The owner did personally reach out to me via private message (same day as my original review which is why I can’t do actual update review) She apologized for the bad experience and agrees that it was a fluke. She was very thoughtful in her response and also offered me a complimentary second-​go to give me an opportunity to hopefully try them on a better night. I am leaving this review open ended, not sure if I will try it again since it was such a bust, but until/​if I do, I am bumping up from1 to 2 stars because I appreciate the courtesy and the effort of a small business owner being open minded, not just keeping the status quo but also making sure new customers want to come back. That’s good business.

Wanted to try a new pizza place so went on Unilocal and found this place. Also purchased the Unilocal deal to use so that was a plus. We ordered a pepperoni pizza and alien pizza. I must say the portions are huge and their prices are cheaper than other places. The pepperoni pizza was ok nothing that made me want to come back for it but defin the Alien pizza was a hit. Its a pesto sauce with chicken and bacon and tomato sauce drizzled on top. Defin would come back for the Alien Pizza.

Me and my family of 3 stopped by this place cause I had a $ 30 gift card. We were so surprised that the place had such friendly service and environment. The pizza was delicious! Everything about the combo tasted fresh! We notice a band coming in and setting up as we were getting ready to leave which got us curious to stay and watch! But we were all full and ready to go. Overall I’d come back and eat pizza and beer here anytime!

Great Family run and owned business. They have great customer service; friendly, attentive, and very sweet. We always get a ½ pepperoni (for my son) and ½ combination for. Now, you can choose your own dough! We get ours with garlic dough and it makes a good pizza even better. Pizza Ultimate makes it very easy to support locally owned business.

This place was actually much better then I thought it would be. The staff was way welcoming and we got to use the Unilocal coupon which gave us $ 20 worth of food for $ 10. DEAL. I liked how you got to choose your own type of dough… I dont remember all of them but I think you have 5 or 6 different choices. Good deal

I moved out this way from San Francisco and as you all know San Francisco has some of the best pizza spots. I have to admit when I opened my box and grabbed a slice to shove in my mouth I had my doubts because I’ve tasted pizza from a few places in and around the Hayward area and they all were terrible but to my surprise the pizza was San Francisco quality. Very very good. The dough was nice and thick… I’d like to take off my hat to this place. Great job. Keep up the good work.

Awesome place to go for pizza. It’s a family owned place and the owners are pretty cool. We ordered chicken garlic pizza and we loved it. Make sure that you are not too hungry when you go to this place cos the wait may frustrate you. But hey, it’s totally worth it. There’s an Unilocal 10 $ for 20 $ deal as of now. Just use it, come back and give 5 stars. ;) :)

Great pizza! My family got the two mediums for $ 20 deal, and there was A LOT of pizza. Their mediums seem larger than other places! We had a chicken and bacon with white sauce on garlic dough– so good! They use real pieces of coarsely chopped bacon, some of the best I’ve had on a pizza. We also had a ham and pineapple pizza– I’m not a fan of this kind of pizza, but my mom really liked it.
The one and only reason it’s not getting 5 stars is that we had a decent wait in between the arrival of the pizzas. We got one pizza, then waited 5 to 7 minutes for the other one. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice if they came out closer together (we don’t eat until EVERYONE has food) and people wanted different pizzas.
Great in every other way though!

We have ordered pizza for delivery here twice. The first time we ordered a pizza with anchovies on the side, did not get the anchovies; we also ordered jalapeño poppers and we got mozzarella sticks. The pizza is just OK ~ they try to keep costs down by not putting a lot of toppings on their pizzas. Second time we ordered the Veggie pizza with artichoke hearts. Their were exactly 2 pieces of artichoke on the pizza, we also ordered the poppers, this time we got them with a side of KETCHUP, really, ketchup??? They always seem to screw something up :(

Still not the best pizza I’ve had but I’ve had it several times since my last review and the pizza seems much more deserving of a 4 than my previous 3 stars (maybe the first pizza with the new owners was a bad fluke). It’s a great local place and it always seems busy with events.
Unlisted on the menu (at least from what I saw) are different crust flavors Jalapeño, Italian, and Garlic. The garlic crust was delicious tonight.

This is my first review here on Unilocal… and it’s in response to the review I saw by «Richard L.» of San Lorenzo. I was at Pizza Ultimate the day of his visit there, and witnessed the occurrence he has ranted endlessly about. I personally would consider his comments rather extreme and dramatized, and it doesn’t surprise me. That is all I will say about this character.
About Pizza Ultimate… I love it! Great food and a great atmosphere. Clean and friendly service. The beer is always cold and my glass is never empty! The entertainment is fun for families, as well as the younger crowds. Such a mixed group every time we’re there. I have referred a number of friends and all have raved about Pizza Ultimate. That’s why I have given them FIVE STARS!

Under new management, and the pizza is wonderful, we ordered the garlic chicken and a cheese pizza with a garlic white sauce. they have specialty crusts too: jalapeño, garlic, and Italian. they have live music every other Friday and what is coming up is a lot of jazz and blues. the entry is free. Fabulous pizza and free music what could be better. they are also putting together a different event every Saturday too. They have some car shows lined up and parties for the family. well i am convinced i am going to go on a music night and check it out, and only because i really love the pizza. it is better than the old owners pizza. i would say it is a place to check out. The owners and workers are very nice and friendly. I ordered my pizza to go and once they found out i was in transit with my pizza they gave me cups, lids, straws, plates, napkins and a bag of ice to go. Now that is what i call service with a smile for them and me. A definte go to place.

Solid pizza and great service. Family-​run restaurant which reminded me a lot of my first job ever at a local pizza joint. Perfect for families and all sorts of sports teams.
When I first walked in I ordered a Samuel Adams. The tap was running a bit fast so there was quite a head on it so the guy behind the counter said to go ahead and sip off the suds and he’d refill it. Awesome! I hadn’t had that type of service in a while.
We got a special which had tons of ingredients which I can’t name at the moment. I just knew that it was a well-​crafted pizza. No, it’s not Delfina or Pizzaiolo but the price is great and so is the quality.
This place is way down there in Hayward so if you find yourself in these parts go ahead and stop by.
