Came to this restaurant with some friends that have been raving about this place. It is located in a little shopping plaza so there is plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately upon entering the restaurant. It is not to big i would say any where from 12 – 20 tables. We sat in the middle table and was provided with a high chair for my son. Immediately our drink order was take. It was not crowded at all while we were here. Maybe 3 other tables were being used, if that. We ordered our food and after reading the previous reviews I was prepared to wait at least 30 minutes to receive my food. To my surprise the food arrived within less than 10 minutes. We ordered about 4 rounds of food and was in and out in an hour and a half. Maybe the quick service was because there was less people.. . I don’t know but I was extremely happy with it! The actual servers were great as well, very sweet! I don’t eat seafood(I know, I know.. .) so I ordered mostly off the kitchen menu. My friends and husband who ordered off the sushi menu were very happy with everything they ordered. Please be aware that almost everything you order will come out as one item so if you want more than one write the amount you want! The food was good, not great enough for a 5 star rating but good enough that I will most likely be back!

This place had my business for a year in a half, I was a loyal customer 3x per month traveling a half hour from where I live to come here. That has come to an end, the last few times I went the staff was incredibly rude I was threatened by the staff members and the food is not that good. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. IFYOUWANTAMAZINGSUSHIGOTOOSHOONRT.35!!! SOMUCHBETTERTHANTHISPLACE

Ok went here last week after having been here a few months prior was pretty decent when I was here before but this place took a turn for the worst!!! I ordered sushi but when I was served was rice cakes, never seen sushi so overstuffed with rice and practically nothing else not to mention it tasted bad I have had better sushi at Chinese buffets then this place… that is saying a lot so consider yourself warned!!! Never returning here again!

A bit expensive for what we ordered(buy 2 get 1 rolls, 2 salads, and two drinks for $ 40) but worth the try. We had the«sex on the beach roll» and a plain spicy tuna/avocado. They were delicious. Will def order from them again … They deliver.

Tried to give this place one more chance but sad to say no improvement… the sashimi portions are so small and the service takes so long. will be the last time to visit this place… the more we order the smaller the sashimi gets and the longer our order takes.

The all you can eat is the best thing about this place. The only Thing about it which applies to a lot of all you can eat sushi places is that if you do not eat all of what you order they charge u for it. The food is all very good from the sushi to the hibachi. Their desserts are also great and the food comes out in a timely manner even when ordering A lot on the all you can eat menu. Best sushi place in the area

they’ll charge you 7 dollars for the mountains of rice they pad the meal with so you can’t finish it. beware. rude.

If I’m being frankly honest, this is only my second time here and I am very disappointed. It’s understandable that to start off, it was already a packed Saturday night, but the service provided to me in particular was absolutely horrible. I ordered the all you can eat, and waited about 40 minutes for my sushi to finally come. Once I received my food, I had noticed they missed half my order. In example, I ordered 5 pieces of salmon sashimi and 5 pieces of white tuna sashimi, and I was only given 2 pieces of white tuna sashimi… To top it off after waiting 30 minutes for my second order, I asked the waiter if it was almost ready(at this point I was running late and had to go) to which they replied they had lost my order entirely. From a food stand point, the food was VERY average, however the price for the food was a pretty decent deal. I will not be coming back here for sure.

Poor service. Waiter could not efficiently describe some of the dishes in the menu. Staff spy on customers to ensure they aren’t sharing food despite buying food. Don’t waste your time coming here.

I left with a full stomach and a full heart. The all you can eat lunch deal for $ 11.99(on weekdays) couldn’t be beaten with their large selection of appetizers and sushi. I loved that they had hand rolls as well as specialty rolls. Plus you can’t beat some fried banana and red bean ice cream!

Terrible sushi. Since sushi palace in red bank closed trying to look for a place that can come close to it. The rolls are 80% rice and crunch which is in everything I got a 2nd round of sashimi and they served it practically frozen. I’ll never ever eat here again and neither should you. Money down the drain

Mediocre at best. Unfriendly service, no drink refills or check ups at all by staff the entire dinner. Also a nice long hair in our salad. Yum!

Good Food for a All you can eat place. Salmon sashimi taste fresh. Rolls are pretty decent. Hot Food are great too. Fried Banana is the bomb. Have it with Ice cream makes it all worth while.

Love this place the all you can eat is so worth it! Everything is fresh and made to order! Even special rolls are included in the all you can eat. The employees remember us and I like that about the place! it’s also byob which is nice too. I have been coming here for two years now and I would recommend it to anyone! It’s delicious and affordable!

Attentive service and kind staff. Sushi is good for AYCE. Lunch doesn’t include tuna susho/rolls. In my opinion dinner is better because it is 7 dollars more per person and you can get sashimi and you have a wider selection of rolls and salads.

Salmon was very fresh. So much rice though. Literally anywhere they could sneak rice, they did, so much that someone on my party took most of the rice out of the rolls and put it in his pocket. Nice atmosphere, and not very crowded, but very slow service. Probably because they want you to get full between servings as the rice expands. Waiters are nice! Never got BBQ squid after asking twice though. The fried foods were delicious, but very greasy. Also the pictures from other Unilocalers so not seem to match up to what we got, especially with the short ribs, which looked like shreds of meat. Also the pieces of sashimi are in half inch squares which basically isn’t even a bite size. Would not return with sushi palace being closer to where I live.

I have been here at least 3x already and it’s excellent. $ 30 for unlimited sushi along with various other appetizers, soups, and salads. They even have sushi pizza! I just wish they had a few more options for rolls, especially one that includes jalapeños on top. More expensive than Sushi Palace but also better service and fresher tasting sushi & sashimi. Every time I’ve gone it hasn’t been overcrowded, but a more relaxed atmosphere.

I hope you like your sushi on the fried side! This made to order AYCE sushi spot has all the potential for a solid sushi joint. It falls short because most of the rolls are made of fried components and lacks enough fish.(Maybe that’s why it’s the cheapest made to order AYCE in the area). The sashimi portions were tiny but not bad. If I’m coming to eat sushi I want to eat some quality fish and lots of it! However the waitress was VERY nice and attentive. But it took us a long time to get out of there since she was the only one working.

I’m stuck between 2&3 stars. I’m not sure where people get the idea that this is high quality sushi, but the point of this place is to challenge yourself and stuff your face with as much sushi as you can for the price of a special roll at a truly«quality» establishment. The appetizers are the typical fare(edamame, dumplings, calamari, etc) and taste decent, but here the appetizers are extremely small, so you might want to order 2 or 3. Oh yea, be prepared to wait a god 15 – 20 minutes for it to come. The rolls are decent(read: it’s a slight step up from prepared mall sushi). All of the rolls are heavy on the fillers and have an abundance of rice, but what do you expect when you’re getting all you can eat for $ 19? All in all, it’s decent for all-you-can eat for $ 19, but when you come here don’t expect amazing sushi or speedy service.
