Just because a bartender is hot does’t mean she is good at her job. These bartenders are by far the worst I’ve ever come across, and I’m a professional drinker.
Made two small, easily fixable, complaints about their complete ignorance of how a drink is made, (I was much nicer in person than I am so n review) and they did ZERO to fix it.
Their drinks are illegally weak (half a shot max of booze for a 2 mix drink).

The sushi here is still great — however the quality of the rest of the food has seriously declined since they changed from «Park East» to «The Park.»
I had both the bar pizza and veggie burger recently. Both of these items are CLEARLY frozen foods. The pizza had the signature «dimples» on the bottom of the crust that indicate being a mass processed foods. The veggie burger was so mushy it slid off the bun.
I really like this place for the great beer selection and sushi. I really hope they get it together and ditch the frozen crap! Better to have an excellently produced, limited menu than a menu so large, they resort to putting out frozen crap.

Awesome place. The food was on point! Even though the place looks like a dive bar, the food and the resturant section was good. The server we had, john, was the best. Very attentive funny knew the menu. We had gotten a gift card when it was previous park east. Was misinformed and was told we can use it, when the bill was provided we wanted to use it and the manager came over to us explain why we were unable to use it and then he said hold on I will figure something out. He was then able to take care of it for us and it was great he did not have to do that and he had excellent customer service this is why they are now going to be on my list for good food and good service restaurants like these do not exist a lot in New Jersey but I’m happy and I hope this place well I will definitely be returning

I understand that my standards may be different because I live in New York, but I have never encountered such white trash in my entire life. the staff *actually* gets off on being rude to people above the minimum wage level. I’m not a restaurantuer, but I have a sneaking suspicion that most restaurants hope to accommodate people that can pay with cash, versus food stamps. the doorman was reveling in his shittiness, and it made me want to abort my future unborn child for fear of exposing them to such a heathenism. do NOT go there. ever.

Service in the dining room SUCKS. Maybe they will get it together And if they do I’ll revise my review. Other then that, the BAR rocks as long as Mel is behind it. She knows what she’s doing I tried both dining and bar on separate days.

This place has changed a lot. Looks very different and the demographic is all over the place. The reason for the 1 star is the service. Our waiter messed up all of our orders. We waited an hour for our meals and in the meantime he paid no attention to us. We wanted more drinks and more water but were ignored and the worst part… The restaurant was extremely quiet. He was only servicing one other table. All throughout the night there were wrong orders placed and orders ignored. Just a very bad experience. Not sure if it was just this one waiter but the place seemed very different from a few years ago. Very disappointing.

You have to get the surf and turf sushi roll. Was by far the best sushi roll I have ever had anywhere. I travel all over the country and I’m always looking for good local place to eat. This is a great place. I ate in the bar area and watched football. Live music, friendly bar tender and really good food. I would eat here all the timw if I lived here.

This was my First time, food and drinks were great. Unfortunately, our waitress dropped an entire soy sauce plate/wasabi, after being dipped in all over my AG jeans. Honest mistake, however, she ruined my jeans, and made me smell like soy sauce and fish the rest of the day. The restaurant didn’t take a single thing off my check, or offer us anything. Need to work on their customer service. Disappointing experience

Just OK. Their mixed drinks are somewhat mediocre. The atmosphere is decent but for some reason the music is ridiculously loud for the type of vibe this place gives off.
I’ve been here twice at about 9 on a Friday night and both times the bar was NOT that busy and they had a DJ going with crazy loud music. Like SO loud.
Service is OK. Everything was pretty much just OK.

Great night with friends! Sat at the bar and played Friday night trivia musical bingo, didn’t win. Drinks were great and Taylor is a fantastic bar tender. Place started getting lively around 8:30 but not packed. They have happy hour drink and food specials. Sushi was really good. Service was great. Had a wonderful Friday night. They changed up the menu when they changed from Park East to the Park. Selections for everyone to find something. Only complaint is not much gluten free options for bar food except sushi. Excellent selection of craft beers. Very enjoyable.

Went here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon… the menu offered different cuisines and we ordered a few entrees from the 5 dollar lunch menu… My advice would probably be stick to one cuisine and be awesome at it as everything was pretty bland. Our service was great and fast but on the other hand she only had one other table, it was pretty dead for a Saturday afternoon.

Husband and I ate here for the first time since being changed from the Park East. The menu has been changed but I was able to order the same specialty roll I used to get. I ordered the Surf and Turf sushi roll and he order filet mignon medium. The strip steak used on my roll was old meat ice cold. My husband’s steak was also not fresh and cooked well done and he needed ketchup just to get it down.
We had the calamari as an appetizer which was ok.
We notified out waitress of our dissatisfaction and she informed the manager who was gracious enough to take half off our bill. This is the only reason I am giving them 2 stars as opposed to one. I don’t think we’ll be returning even with the offer of a free meal from the manager.

I would give this place less than one star if possible. Since they changed owners they have gone completely downhill. We have given them several chances but were done. The service is awful, the food is awful. I was told by a «manager» that every sushi restaurant uses imitation crab meat. That was the last straw. Clearly he doesn’t eat out often. Sure we’ll be seeing the «for sale» sign in no time!

Had an amazing experience in the upstairs room for a private event. Close to 50 people and not a single beat was missed. Neil and Devan are true professionals and know exactly what it takes to give their guests great service. The food was perfect! Everyone loved the staff and how friendly and attentive they were to their needs. Anytime I had an empty glass or dirty plate, it was removed or refilled quickly. Have your event here and see for yourself. Ask for Neil or Devan! They have a wide selection of craft beer now as well.

Would’ve given this place 5 stars if it wasn’t for the fact that we had bad waitress service. All the other tables were well tended to by other wait staff except for the tables that had our waitress. She was slow and spent more time chatting amongst the tables then taking orders. Then she would disappear. Apparently everyone who had her experienced the same problems as was overheard. Took 25 minutes for her just to TAKE our food order. Finally when the order was placed it took another 20 minutes to get it. Other than that… the place has a great atmosphere. Little loud on Sundays during football season but enjoyable otherwise. Good for kids too. Food was great. Had the Sudden Death which came with a few different appetizers. Enjoyable. My son had the kids chicken fingers and fries which he enjoyed. Other than the bad waitress service the place is fun and we will be back here again.

Awesome place for Sunday football! My wife and I recently moved to the area and we needed somewhere to watch our favorite teams! We went here with some family and friends who have gone here under the old management. It was all our first time some the re-open and it was a blast. The bar has all the games on and a DJ playing during game breaks. The bartenders and staff are very friendly. Even have a corn home game out back to play. The food was great, we ventured into the dining area for food, but every game game was still on! Wings and sliders are awesome!
Highly recommend! Even has valet parking if it gets crowded, but plenty of space inside!

The food here is excellent and presented well. The bar is a huge oval and has 20+ craft beers on tap. But beware, during football season, the bar area fills up super quick. The bartenders service was quick to take your order, and if you needed anything. There’s a Sunday/bar menu when there’s any sports on television (TV’s everywhere!). Outside there was two corn hole games set up for anyone to play as well as outdoor seating.
On the other side of the building there’s your typical restaurant setup. It’s a pretty nice sized area and it’s great for groups/families.
Beware that the parking lot is all stone! And they have free valet (if you want it).
