Yo I know subway is not struggling for revenue so why can’t they hire/schedule an extra helping hand at the height of dinner hour, on Bandera road, I mean really? The guy working at advanced auto parts had to come behind the counter just to help ring up people’s sandwiches… come on!

NOWAYTOGIVEZEROSTARS! I would like to begin by saying that we are LOYAL Subway customers for over 10 years. Our most recent visit to The Helotes Plaza Subway was HORRIBLE and less then MEDIOCRE. We entered the store at 0530pm and were standing in line behind at least 15 customers. I fully understand waiting, but after standing in line for 20 minutes, the Sandwich Artist rung up 1 customer and was preparing another customer’s sandwich. They appeared to have NOSENSE of URGENCY. In the middle of this rush, numerous customers were upset because they could not sit in the outside patio area. ALL tables and chairs were locked up! At 530pm?! At this time one of the Artists, decides that it would be a perfect time to unlock the patio furniture. We decided to immediately EXIT this store and left a line standing out of the door! We have finally decided to complain because this is the 3rdTIME we have had this experience. We understand once, maybe twice but by the 3rd time we decided it would be less PAINFUL to throw ourselves UNDER A SUBWAY! Don’t visit this store! Go to Jimmy John’s across 1604 instead!

Nothing but good experiences at this subway. Friendly staff and good, fresh sandwiches.

I feel bad writing this as I had been a Subway advocate and frequent visitor for the past several years. Sadly my recent experiences at this subway located in Helotes, TX has made me feel that I will never return to this Subway again in my lifetime and probably will think twice before even setting foot in any other subway. Have you ever had to return a sandwich? Well I have… because they were terrible. We stopped in after a long road trip to grab a couple of sandwiches — since they were new and close to the house we thought it would make sense. I wouldn’t feed the sandwiches to my dog. Taste was terrible, bread was like a rock, and so at 10pm here I am going back to Subway to return these aweful sandwiches. Sadly the customer service is hurendous and the employees working at the location cant even operate a standard cash register. Last night was my last straw. After stopping in one last time to give them a try, I picked up my son a 6 inch meal with a milk. The cashier informed me my balance was $ 9.56 for a 6 inch meal deal. after inquiring if that was correct, the other brilliant sandwich artist said I was correct and adjusted my balance to $ 9.00. So I did the math in my head: sandwich($ 4.00) + drink & chips($ 2.00) = $ 6.00 plus tax. The clerk couldnt figure out how to work the register and just took out a couple bucks and sent me on my way. Wow… how are these people in business and what kind of owner trusts people like this to run his/her shop. I dont think they will be in business long…
