It was good Christian and Devon really enjoyed eating your food. It was splendid the tables were clean !!! you guy definitely work your asses off if I was rich I’d hire all of you to cook for me at my house .

My first time here (about an hour ago), and I paid over $ 7 for the #1 which is four strips of chicken, a side (I got mac and cheese), gravy, and a drink… I opened my box and saw two regular sized chicken strips and two tiny half pieces that counted as individual strips? Good thing I wasn’t really that hungry. Not to mention, I never received a fork or napkins. Their Mac and cheese was kind of sour and just not good. I will not be returning. I’ll post a pic of the chicken strips. I couldn’t believe the lack of quality control!

Not terrible but DO NOT order the spicy strips. They were just salted and powdered in cayenne pepper. If you want spicy strips go to Popeyes!

Every time I go here they mess something up, this time I ordered mashed potatoes that tasted sour, and wasn’t given a fork. Churches fried chicken is 100% better and cheaper!

Went and had lunch with my mom. The 1^st thing I notice, is that although an employee is on the phone, she pauses to welcome us. The food, although a bit pricey for my budget was good. The place was clean and the service excellent. The 3 employes we encountered had great manners and a wonderful attitude. I’d definitely go back — (often if I found coupons!)

We are not big fast food folks although enjoyed our visit here today. Service was 5 star with smiles and greeting as well as bringing our tray to our table. We will be back!

Inconsistent. My first visit was enough to keep me coming back, but the only thing that is now consistent is their inability to get our order right. I’ve also noticed a decrease in quality. Overcooked rolls, stale dry chicken, etc.

I have fallen in love with this place! The yeast rolls are amazing. As a large family we are always looking for variety, the mixer works perfect for us! Tenders, mix chicken… 3 large sides and 8 rolls such a deal! We love the corn nuggets as well.

The chicken is so slippery with grease; if you manage to bite it you realize their is an absence of flavor. The side dishes are very plain and not worth mentioning or purchasing.

I actually genuinely liked this place. The chicken was extremely moist on the inside with a delicious crunchy coating on the outside. The taste of it was really great and I have no complaints about the chicken. Add to that the absolutely phenomenal yeast rolls and that is really all you need to have a solid meal. Plus, I fed 4 people for 15 bucks on chicken, two sides, and 4 rolls. That is pretty darn good in this economy.
So, why the 4 stars and not the 5 since I have so many accolades about the chicken. Well, it is the sides. They were mediocre at best so it brings down the score a little. I had the coleslaw (which was rather bland) and the macaroni and cheese (which had a great consistency but was also a little bland. Neither were bad, but neither were good.
The atmosphere was clean and well lit. It was a good experience. I will definitely go back; however, if I am near a Popeye’s, I would go there instead. I really love Popeye’s spicy fried chicken. If Popeye’s spicy fried chicken is a ⁵⁄₅ for me, Golden Chick’s regular chicken is a 4.5 /​5. It really was good food for fast food.
