This is authentic. The food has great flavor and the environment is nice. The waitress was nice and patient. The fried Massaman Curry was a nice yellow curry. The fried rice had the wok flavor. Pad Thai had a good texture. Get the fried dumplings!!! Not soft like other places. The curry was mild, so ask for a 5!

Very limited vegetarian selection, but I was able to exchange a meat for more vegetables. Very delicious!

This restaurant is very small and, frankly, a little bizarre. My husband and I went around 2:45 on a Friday afternoon. They weren’t busy, approximately 3 tables were occupied. We waited about 10 minutes for a table or to be acknowledged by the wait staff. The food was beyond subpar. We only had appetizers: tempura shrimp and the dumplings. Both clearly came out of a freezer and were put in a microwave. Our waitress was inattentive. We had to flag her down to pay. Overall, a less than stellar impression of everything.

Walked in at 09:20pm on a Friday night. Hostess told is there were near closing time so they couldn’t serve us. My wife asked if they close at 10? She replied, «yeaaaaa». Really? You couldn’t serve two people in 40min? I can’t review the food since they wouldn’t serve us! Will not return.

Don’t order for delivery!!! We ordered food to go(using GrubHub). This place is a six minute drive from our house. After over an hour and a half, still no food. We contacted GrubHub, they contacted restaurant which said it would be 10 minutes. It’s Tuesday night at 5:30. I’m not sure why the delay. We waited 15 more minutes and still no food. I called the place myself and kept getting a busy signal. Contacted GrubHub(who didn’t even apologize) to get a refund and cancel the order. Horrible experience and I will not do it again!

Tasty food, good service and big portions! Always a great spot to eat some Thai food. I can’t speak to the authenticity of the food but the Pad Thai and Pad See-ew is always a great staple. It’s never too busy so you get seated quickly and the portions are always more than enough to eat and to take a little bit home. If you’re looking for an appetizer, start with the egg rolls.

I have been to all YUMTHAI restaurants and this Pad Thai was by far THEBEST! I had always loved the one at 281 and Evans… But this one was just amazing! When I would visit the one off of 151 It was good. to satisfy my craving, but not as good as 281… Now that I tried the one here on Bandera/1604 it is amazing! It is also only like 5miles from my house, PERFECT! Try it. chicken pad thai DELICIOUS

This is very good, fairly authentic thai. We couldn’t believe how great the prices were. Seriously, a good value. Big portions, good quality ingredients, perfect sticky rice! Really nice staff. Very attentive. Great patio. Cleanest high chair I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. Hidden gem!

«We are the only Thai restaurant in Helotes» was what we were told the first time we walked in! True or not, they pass my first requisite of a Thai place by having a picture of the king and queen on the wall! The service is always friendly efficient and with a smile. food is a-ok on most trips. They Pahd Thai is actually quite good, and dry like I like it(there are many variations… I ate 13 of them on one greedy day in Bangkok), except it had too much sugar. Easily remedied by asking for the sugar on the side. Once you are judicious with the sugar, the dish becomes a nice combination of chewy, fresh, spicy, sour, salty and sweet! Yeah!!! The Pad Kee Maow was good on one occasion and soggy on another. Broccoli is uniformly well cooked, no matter which dish it shows up in. The penang and mussaman curries are nothing to write home about, but the Thai stuffed chicken wings are a delightful munch with crispy outsides and a herby filling that makes everything pop! All in all very a-ok!

Went here based on my girlfriend’s recommendation. She’d gone here before with a friend of hers and had a good experience. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. My girlfriend, daughter, and I went inside to find it wasn’t very busy. I believe a total of 3 tables were occupied. After standing at the front for a couple of minutes and not seeing any wait staff, we decided to find our own table by the restrooms. As we sat, we still couldn’t find and or see anyone to help us. We were there for a solid 10 minutes before I decided to go the register to get their paper menus for my family. A few minutes go by and someone comes out of the kitchen with food for the prior customers. Only then my girlfriend had to wave over someone to get help(a male, whom I assume his name was Alan, being that was what was on the ticket). At the same time, an additional family and a single customer come in only to get waited on immediately by a wait staff(a female, slender and seemingly tall) that had been sitting down behind a tall booth. Our server Alan, which tried his best as far as I could tell, took our orders with great care. He Also explained that the normal host was out making deliveries. Although, it didn’t seem as if he knew much about the menu after asking him if a certain appetizer was spicy or not. But we took his word for it and order it for my daughter. Which, she liked rather well(for a two-year-old, that’s saying something). My girlfriend ordered the Basil Chicken and I had the Drunken Noodles with duck. We tried each others dishes and I ended up liking hers more being that my duck had a burnt taste to it along with being incredibly hard at some parts as well as really chewy on others. I like crispy duck, but I think either this piece was old and or cooked/fried a little too long. Moreover, the first time my plate was brought to me, there wasn’t even duck in or on it. But Alan soon came back out apologized and brought the plate back with the duck placed on top. I don’t know how they usually serve duck here, but mine was still had the bone left in as well as just chopped with the bones throughout. So, when I got my plate back, my order was littered with bone pieces. I was really hungry and I’m not one to waste food, so I worked my way around the bones and the chewy burnt flavor. We asked if there was a manager on duty and Alan said that at the time we asked, she went on a delivery run. Which made me a bit disappointed. I’ve never asked for a manager before, but I just wanted a greater understanding of why the current service and my food was as the time so poor. All in all, it wasn’t a horrible experience, but it certainly wasn’t great either. I also feel, based on the service and the food I got, that the price certainly didn’t reflect the quality expected. If I ever go back, it’ll have to be a few months later. Maybe things could get better with time. Sidenote: I noticed there wasn’t a bell or noise to indicate anyone had stepped in the restaurant. Maybe that could help out service.

We really enjoyed our dinner here this evening! All of our dishes and appetizers were fresh and hot. Our server was very attentive and friendly, our first time here but not our last. Thank you !

This little place is SO much better than the previous places that occupied this spot. Great food, friendly service. convenient to Silverado 16. only reason did not give 5 stars was getting my order wrong, and making me wait 15 min to fix it… Went a second time and surprise surprise, same issue, waitress spoke very little English, got order wrong, but ate it anyhow. Food was AWESOME! So again. great food.attentive service, but do not be surprised if order has an issue.

I gave it a 3 star because I waited over an hour for sticky rice. It should never take that for some sticky rice. I mean I eat super slow and I finish my food and still had to wait for it. We eventually said we have to go so please take it off our bill but as we were paying the girl pack it to go for us in a bag already so we just took it anyway. Oh and it wasn’t as good as I thought it was gonna be, I had better. Pad Thai and drunken noodles is good. Don’t get the egg rolls it’s not good. The waitress is really sweet and customer service was good but that wait was not.

I enjoyed the subtle tastes. This place exceeded our expectations. Thai iced tea was just the right amount of sweetness. Will most likely be back again.

We had GrubHub deliver from the Bandera location last night. The food arrived about 15 minutes faster than estimated and was steaming hot! That was the good news. I had asked for my Hor Mok Talay(Steamed Curried Seafood Custard) to be prepared very spicy, and stated 8 on scale of 10. I would say it was not as spicy as I had wanted, but was pretty good. The flavor was excellent, but I wanted more heat. Maybe I have to ask for Thai Spicy. My wife’s Pad Wun Sen(Stir Fried Transparent Noodles) with Beef, however, was almost flavorless. It could have been our fault though, as my wife asked for«mild, with a 4 on scale of 10.» It certainly was mild, but there also was not a lot of flavor to the noodles, so she was very disappointed. Maybe we should not have specified any modification to see what it would have come out like. Unfortunately, knowing how my wife is, she may never give this place another chance. We both really enjoyed the Egg Rolls. They were still so hot we had to let them cool down a little to eat them, so delivery was excellent! And we also ordered desert: Sweet Sticky Rice & Thai Custard. We both really liked this a lot. Great taste and looked great too! Overall, I would give the whole food and delivery of my meal a 4 out of 5, but my wife would say a 2 out of 5 for hers, so I compromised and gave 3 stars. I will definitely try to talk her into giving it one more try.

Love what they’ve done with this place. What a big difference from the last Thai place that it replaced. The interior is cleaner and much more inviting. I always get the Pad Thai at almost every Thai eatery. Theirs is pretty good. Love the green curry too. Prices at lunch are much more reasonable than dinner. We’ve gone during both times and the lunch and dinner portions are pretty similar, but the prices for dinner are a bit expensive. Egg rolls are so so, papaya salad was a bit salty, and skip the bubble tea drinks(much better ones at a place up the street that specializes in bubble teas). Overall, I would recommend this place just for the pad Thai and curries. Try to go during lunch special hours. Love that the new owners remodeled it.

Very authentic and delicious Thai food. My friend and I ordered the shrimp and chicken pad Thai and the cashew chicken. So much flavor and very fresh. My pad Thai was spicyyy but that was how I ordered it, and I cleaned off my plate with joy and a runny nose! Definitely coming back when I’m craving Thai! My server was really nice! –1 star because they didn’t tell me shrimp was an extra 3 dollars! My Pad Thai was way too expensive.
