Good burger. Good Reuben sandwich. Loved the apple caramel cheesecake. Didn’t have a wine list. Only one option. Hate that — we’re so close to wine country. Enjoyed watching line dancing lessons.

If you want a night out with cheap boozy drinks and country music. This is your place. Just beware, the crowd here is interesting to say the least because you have regulars, college kids, families staying at connected Days Inn, and hicks from the out-skerts of Rush all in one place. The music is hit or miss and karaōke night can be scary but entertaining. With all that said, I think it’s a perfect place for a first date. You’re gonna get a lot of good laughs.

Formerly«The Roost» I was a little skeptical when some friends wanted to head here on a Saturday night. This place was recently remondelled. The bar is now in a new location and it a long bar rather than a 3 sided one. The place was packed! They charged a cover of $ 5 for the 2 bands starting up about 8:30pm. Price of a bud light was definitely affordable. I cannot vouche for the food as I have not tried it since the remodel and name change. Downside, the bathrooms were not updated. Still just 2 lonely stalls in a very, very, very cold ladies bathroom.

If you like country music, this is your kind of place… I’ll be somewhere else =) Food is very basic, I recommend eating before you arrive and save yourself some cash. Draft beer should be colder, stick to bottles.

Tip for now: Avoid if you are looking for a nice meal. Maybe a nice hang out for country theme lover.

Whether you are looking to dance, learn to dance, or just hang out, Nashvilles is the place to go. Line Dancing lessons are offered Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. They also offer beginner bootcamp lessons on Monday nights. The music is a perfect mix of old country, new country, and top 40s/pop. You’d be surprised what songs they’ve created line dances for. The bartenders are great and you will have great service each time you go. I’ve had a few appetizers from the menu and have not been disappointed for basic bar food. There are drink specials every night and they change with the seasons.

If you’re looking for a place to go line dancing, this is your best bet! They have lessons on every weeknight and cover a range of songs and difficulty levels. It costs 5 $ per lesson and they cover 2 dances per lesson. If you eat at the restaurant before the lesson, you get a discount. I’ve only eaten at the restaurant for meals a few times and the food was adequate, but have ordered appetizers and drinks on many occasions. The draft beer selection is limited here(5 beers) but the mixed drinks and drink specials can be really great. As other reviewers noted, this place has a dive feel but it’s rather inviting and if you want to avoid the dance floor, there are some cozy spots near the fireplace, darts, and a pool table on the balcony. Yes, you will see what some people consider«townies» dressed up in their full country gear, but really you will see a huge mix of people especially on Thursday night which is college night. If you’ve never visited this place before, come on a Thursday night around 9pm when the lesson is over. You’ll see grandparents dancing, college girls, gay couples, men in cowboy hats, hipsters, you name it! Mostly you will just see groups of friends having fun, although since the bar is also located in a Days Inn, there are occasionally single creepy men lurking about. The diversity of the crowd and the music(they play a lot of pop and country) playing is really great at Nashvilles and especially if you’re there to dance or just watch the dances, you’re bound to have a good time.

If you are in Rochester and you want to go line dancing then you want to go to Nashvilles. It’s super loud, and a little divey but they could probably double their volume if they had more bartenders working(or opened the upstairs bar), and added more seating. They play great music and the crowd is lively; so you are bound to have a good time if you like country music! They have darts, pool tables and some seating upstairs too, so even if you don’t dance you can get in on the fun.

This place is OK. The only ‘country bar’ in Rochester so it has that going for it. Sometimes it seems the people that go there are trying too hard to be ‘country’ but Rochester isn’t really country and the true country people hang out at their townie bars so I guess all is good there. Service is pretty good.
