I have always had good experiences here. Here on Father’s Day and the hostesses and waitresses really took care of me. Good food. Great substitute for boiling crab that’s an hour away with an hour wait.

Love this place! best place to go watch games! Would not recommend this during game days if you want family quality time and not into sports. Lol food is great! But sometimes on Super busy days, not at their best. But staff is very attentive. Happy Hour is 2pm to 6pm I think.

2 must knows before thinking of coming here to dine is that one they serve you old shrimp and secondly is that the servers act like they hate their jobs. I hated this place.
I wanted to watch the game and this was the closest place to go to. Well this and Mountain Mikes and unfortunately I chose this place. The menu is basic so deciding on what I wanted to eat was easy. Food arrived and as soon as I peeled the shrimp I can feel the texture being soft and mushy, indicating the shrimp was not fresh. Not just one bite the entire order. Talk about cheap.
Then for fifteen minutes all the servers disappeared and all that was tending to serve us was the bartender. There was no attention or desire to wait on us or what I like to say lack of service (serve-​us).
The servers spent more time cleaning up the tables than actually waiting on them.
Over priced for the quality and the service you receive. But I would understand why the servers lack quality too. They don’t get paid to do what their doing. Do your jobs folks. Cook, clean, and do your job right please.

Shitty service, like everyone said. But the food was seriously out of this world.
My friend and I waited to be sat for a good five minutes while the bartender kept eyeing us and ignoring us and then said we could sit wherever. Really? After we had been standing there? Whatever.
My friend asked to not sit where they were seating everyone because it was really loud and hard to hear anything but the bartender said we couldn’t so we just sat where we were instructed.
Our server was okay. Pretty prompt and attentive.
Now the food. Oh. My. GOD.
DELICIOUS.
I don’t think I’ve ever had such a good sauce. I ordered the shrimp (heads off) and they came in a baggy full of sauce. I got the garlic butter-​medium heat. Once my friend had eaten all her shrimp, she started spooning the sauce into her mouth afterwards. Seriously amazing, thinking about it now makes my mouth water. Will be back, but only for the food.
Customer service needs a serious revamp.

I have not been treated In a restaurant so poorly like this establishment. I waited for awhile to be serve. 2 different customers set of 2 walk in they were given water right away. I was very patient but after another 2 more set of customers and still no waiter came I had to say something. I am appalled that they just send the buzz lady to take my order and when I ask for a manager I think they send the cook. Omg I still ordered but I was too upset to eat so I had to leave.
. Oh with these the server/​hostess said we gave you rice to compensate our mistake. When she was giving me the check and I told her I do not need anything but I took it anyway. When we got home I tried to eat it I had to throw it away because it wasn’t cook.
… I’m so disappointed. I am hoping that no one will experience what I experience. I do give good reviews to all my account and if I do not like the establishment

Feel so small and I felt discriminated because I was a woman. Because those 2 set of customers were male and if I didn’t say excuse when can someone serve us
No one will notice me and my son. The fact that I had to ask for someone to serve us is rude they should be more attentive to all customers that walk in. These is poorly run restaurant.

Overall really good

Amazing food, nice service, loved it. Nice environment, booths, tables, even outside seating. There’s even a bar, lots of TVs and great customer service. Our food actually came quickly, was both delicious and the bill wasn’t to bad either. I’d definitely recommend this place to friends, family and all seafood lovers. It’s in close proximity to my house and yours as well if you’re between Vallejo and Hayward… yup pass right by those others and get the real deal.

After a fun-​filled day at Six Flags, we were craving for a boiling-​crab-​type place! I’m not from this area so I asked my cousin for a few suggestions and she recommended this spot.
It was on the way back home so we figured why not? Boiling crab is my all-​time-​fave but Claws & Craws definitely surprised me with their quality and fresh seafood.
What we ordered: Chicken wings, Garlic noodles, King crab, and Shrimp with cc combo. Just like other reviews say, the sauce is ahhhhmazing!
Aside from having to fight through the crabmeat, I enjoyed every bite!
Food took a bit longer and I wish we got our chicken wings before the good stuff but all-​in-​all, staff was helpful with the menu and knew what portions were right for us.
This little gem earned its 4-​stars from me.

Service is bad. The two girls who served us was not helpful and it took 1 whole hour for our food when the people next to us came after us and got their food before us. This one server girl who is very tiny actually poured water in my sprite. IDK if she was high or was really busy but I just seen her walking around not helping ppl. I like this place when they first opened but they keep hiring kids to be servers, the service is not as impressing as when it first opened. I’m complaining to Liza next time.

I was craving for some garlic noodles and seafood and wanted to try this place out. My hubby and i went for dinner around 7p and luckily got seated right away. We tried the shrimp CC style, calamari, fries, and garlic noodles. The shrimp was a good size, flavor was ok. It fixed my craving for seafood. I wasn’t to crazy over the garlic noodles they were to wet for me. Over all is come back if I needed to eat some shrimp!

The food was really good. We got the king crab, the snow crab, fried calamari, coconut shrimp, and kaki (for fried oysters). I highly recommend the «CC combo» sauce if you get any crab/​shrimp dish. If only they served sourdough bread at the table so you can sop up the goodness.
We (4 adults and a hungry 4 yr old) arrived just as they were getting busy. Understandably there would be a wait. I guess the manager did find an empty booth for us and we were seated after a short while. No one came to take our order after 20 minutes. As we were flagging down a waitress to take our order the hostess in a matter of factly manner let us know «I didn’t seat you, I don’t know who did, so we don’t have anyone to wait on you do you will just have to wait …» I seriously was about to leave at that point.
I don’t care if you are a 4 star Micheline restaurant or a humble local diner, you had better have a good staff. I don’t know if she was poorly trained or she brought some drama to work with her but leave the bitch attitude somewhere other than front of house. I would have rated this place poorly except for the service from the manager and bartender Billy Jean.
They made the long wait bearable, talked to us like people not just customers. Their job wasn’t even to be wait staff but they took care of us none the less. That’s what I call being part of the team. Overall we left happy and full and will probably return (even give that terrible hostess a second chance). I do hope they get more wait staff and give wet wipes at the end of the meal. But if you do eat here say hi to Billy Jean the bar tender, she’s awesome

Food here is pretty darn good! Do order their combo sauce with any seafood you are about to get and you will not be disappointed. The flavor of the sauce is finger lickin’ good. I usually like to order crawfish if it’s in season, or shrimp is always a promise. Mussels or crabs are the way to go as well! I’d also recommend their garlic noodles, sweet potato fries, and raw oysters. Service here is alright, I think it depends who serves you because I’ve heard of many bad experiences. I just usually sit at the bar, and that’s neutral. Just have to ask for whatever you need and you may not need much after you have your food.

This place always hits the spot when wanting to get a little cajun style in for a meal. We always ordered a pound of shrimp (CC combo, Mild), and that’s just enough, just the right blend. Order just one side of rice, otherwise you waste. And I always add a piece of corn to go in the bag. So yummy! Their calamari for an appetizer is tasty, too! Oh and request gloves if you feel like you don’t wanna have to dig your nails into the bag & to peel (or if you have a paper cut… ouch).
Heard the crab didn’t seem so fresh, but the garlic noodles are good.
And we love how they can accommodate our big group of homies every time (reservations required). We’ll come back for sure, especially since it’s closer than driving hours away.

First off let me just say I love their food and the owners of the place are very nice. I am also a regular here and all my past visits here were great. However, tonight I went with a party of 11 to eat for my sister’s last night in the area. We chose this place because we can always rely on them for excellent service and great food.
Our servers name was Kayla. This was the worst server I’ve ever had and this is definitely the worst service I’ve ever had (not sure if I’ll be going here after this experience). Kayla was rude with us from the beginning, treating us as if we were stupid. She got our order wrong and insisted she was right. She came with our order and said it was one pound lemon pepper. We told her no one had ordered lemon pepper and she replied «I am pretty sure that you guys ordered lemon pepper.» She came back and told us we were right but it doesn’t stop there. For the rest of the night the service was poor. My mom had to get the utensils, we filled our own water, and one of our orders was not delivered for another 45 minutes. As a regular here I know how service from this restaurant usually is and this does not meet my past experiences.
Love the food here I am just saying if you get the waitress Kayla, ask for a new one.

Ate here for my husband’s birthday, and we’re not fans.
If you’re trying to look for a boiling crab fix, keep on searching, or just go to boiling crab.
We spent just as much here (if not a little bit more), and the food was not that great.
The staff was super friendly though.

Great experience. Didnt know what to expect since i’ve only been to boiling crab and firehouse in Sacramento. This place is conviently closer than Sacramento. I ordered pound of shrimp mild with CC sauce. Delicious by the way, but to me my taste buds are keen to the sweet and i thought it tasted a little sweet so I much rather have what my BF ordered which is the pound of shrimp mild with garlic butter. Im curious to know how the lemon pepper would taste like.
I ordered the clams also as an appetizer instead of their regular appetizers because the pictures of appetizers on Unilocal looked small as hell for the same price anyways. Great idea, the clams were really good!
Sweet potatoe fries were cooked perfectly. Overall, extremely pleased.
Shrimps per pound were like $ 14.99lb which i thought was a decent price for the shrimp since it was bigger and better quality than what boiling crab gives

P. S. I love that they have a bar and have options for mixed drinls so people can get swasted and eat. Better than just the regular beer all food places offer.

One of my family friends mentioned this place to me the other day, and I was thinking about seafood so much, I had to go try it! Driving from Pittsburg, I was scrolling through the pictures so I knew what I wanted by the time I sat down.
Service: We were greeted and sat immediately. Host asked us if we wanted a high table or low table. Boyfriend chose a high stool table. Our server, I’m assuming she might be the owner too was really sweet. Asked us if we were new so she could explain the menu to us. Of course I already knew what I wanted so I said no thank you! Our food came out lightening speed fast. Appetizer first, and then our food right after. I was really happy that all our food came out at once and we didn’t have to wait on anything. I’m not sure if that will be same for a busy weekend though, I have to come back.
Food: Calamari was hot and fresh, automatically served with tartar sauce. My favorite! The calamari had a mixture of rings, tentacles, and seasoning. The garlic noodles had the right amount of garlic aroma. I loved it so much I wanted to order more. I ordered the shrimp with medium cc combo and the mussels with tnt cc combo. Let me remind you, I love spicy and when our server said habanero, I said hellllll yeah. The TNT lived up to its standard. It was actually really spicy. However, I’ll get the medium next time because it was a lot tastier. Our server did tell us that the TNT can be inconsistent due to the habanero they use. I like that she told us because a lot of these seafood joints have inconsistent spice levels and now I know why. Shrimp was cooked perfect.
Did I mention they have a full bar?! My boyfriend was super ecstatic even though he just got a beer on tap. Maybe next time. They have happy hour from 3pm-​6pm. Also their booths have personal tvs. Till next time. I hope this place is just as good on our next visit!

This place is basically an imitation Boiling Crab. I would definitely recommend it if you’re craving some seafood, but don’t make the mistake of expecting the CC combo to taste like the whole shabang.
The venue is a pretty good size, and they event have a nice bar in the center of the restaurant! The staff are all pretty friendly and the food is prepared really quickly!
