This place is a good place i love there pizza its good and all the workers there is nice and they always ask if u are ok and if we need anything else they r really good better then any other pizza places i went to I just love pizza from there its so good

Yesterday when I came in for the buffet I mentioned not being able to eat the pizza offered in the buffet. Not only did Preet give me a discount on the buffet price he said next time he would make a gluten free pizza to put out.
Here I am today with my own gluten free pizza, salad and soda, paying the buffet price.
As someone with celiac so didn’t think I’d be able to ever get this deal again! Thank you!

Good salad/​pizza bar. The bad rating is because of problems the last two times they have delivered. Both times had warm 2 liters. Driver also last time said he couldn’t find my house. Told me to wait out on street. It was pouring rain. Over 10 minutes later he came. I said I live half a mile from store. He said pizza was still cooking. Why did he say he couldn’t find if he hadn’t even left. He also said he had no change. He wanted me to tip him $ 7. No brochacho! Called store to tell them of incident and they didn’t seem to care.

Not only did I feel guilty for using my cheat day on pizza but I was also very unsatisfied. The pizza lacked flavor and wasn’t even cut correctly. We got half pepperoni half chicken club. And I felt like we got hustled in to getting the large instead of two individuals. Will not be returning

Food is okay, but for some reason I’ve always had issues with service. The employees usually don’t look like they want to be there (which I understand, but please, just a little bit of effort would be nice). The place is pretty gloomy inside, but I rarely eat in, I usually pick up — and call ahead enough to have my order ready for when I get to the store.
I never really have issues coming here to pick up my order, but since I was out of town for most of the day and was getting home later tonight, I decided to put in an online order for a late delivery. It’s funny that a lot of the reviews say that their orders took HOURS to get to their house… mine was three hours EARLY. The delivery guy told the person at my house that 6:30 was the time on the ticket, but my confirmation email says 9:45 pm delivery. Lack of communication?
Luckily I paid online and that someone was home to receive the food. I know it sounds weird to complain about my pizza being early, but what if no one was home to receive it? Are they just going to leave it on my porch? And now it’ll just be cold by the time I get home, which is not what I was looking forward to after a long Saturday at work.
I think I’m gonna go with the Pinole location next time.
UPDATE: So it’s Monday night and I get a delivery guy at the door with my order. I’m very confused. Are they just 2 days late (but still early at 9pm) for the same order? I sent the poor confused delivery guy back and said that we already received our order, on Saturday. I did not want to get charged for another order from Mountain Mikes.

I’ve had my share of good pizzas from this Mountain Mikes but the last couple of orders were subpar. I decided to write a review this time because of the managers response to my complaint. The pizza was over cooked, extremely dry and bland. When I spoke with the manager his response led me to think he was getting a lot more complaints than from just me. He was very short with me on the phone, told me he was busy and that I can bring the portion untouched back and he would give me the same portion free. I told him I wasn’t calling to get a free pizza nor did I have time to return the uneaten portion, rather the reason for my call was to help them improve. He basically said ok bye. Poor management

The food was so bad and the manger was rood to me overe the phone
and hand up on me.

When this place first came into town, it was terrible. Their delivery time was terrible. BUT. recently I have ordered from there and I couldn’t believe how much better their delivery time was and the pizza was great!

love the veggie pizza, also the customer service, raman and the team you rock man.

First time ordering from them and good thing I only order some garlic bread. It was very bland, no taste at all and overcooked. If they can’t make something as simple as garlic bread, I don’t want to know what there pizza taste like.
Also I find dealing with employees who don’t speak English and don’t know how to run a cashier very irritating. This is the case at Mountain Mikes Pizza.

I ordered my pizza I got there to pick it up. It was not ready I waited 20 minutes. Wrong pizza believe it they got my order wrong three times. I didn’t order anything special large combination. It took one hour to get my pizza then it was cold not fully cooked. It was lunch time they had a young girl working alone. They need to at least hire a cook. They lost a customer.

The pizza buffet dinner is $ 7.25, Wed. Nite 5 – 8 !
They are very flexible & accommodating when making your pizza: I am able to get a vegan pizza (no cheese) with extra sauce & loads of veggies! The salad bar is usually very fresh & has a good variety !

Very unhappy with this location. More then once we have ordered pizza and have been told 45 minutes and it’s taken every bit of an hour and a half. The last time we ordered we looked online picked a specialty pizza (sizzling bacon) and a pepperoni and phone in. The pizza took close to 2 hours to show up. The delivery guy had no parmesan or peppers. I payed him and even tipped him anyway. When we opened the boxes we were very disappointed that the pizzas were cold and naked of the toppings. The crust was very doughy and we had to heat the pizzas in the oven to make then edible. Terrible !!!

I came here with my boyfriend last night for the all you can eat salad bar buffet and pizza and it was just a disgrace. I feel so ashamed on even choosing this place and telling my boyfriend about because it was the worse way to waste someone’s money. When we first arrived the place was pretty packed due to a soccer tournament that ended and so it was full of kids and parents everywhere. The tables were so close to each other that it was so hard to even get in between and walk to get food. What would happen if there was a person in a wheel chair or crutches? We thought because since we ordered the dinner buffet with salad that there would be making more pizza with a variety that we can choose from. Well no that didn’t happen. We ended up eating the salad and the same pizza that was sitting there before we even arrived. You can tell by the just looking at the pizza it was old and underneath the lamp that the cheese was starting to look old and crumbly. Gross! We should of just ordered a small regular pizza of something we could have liked instead of a buffet of old pizza.
As for the service it was just ridiculous. It was all young teenagers working the store and what did they do while tables had dirty plates, dishes, napkins everywhere? They stood there and talked to one another and joked around. Not only did they talked but they used foul language to each other while kids are around. Like really? Who hired these people? I really hope that this place gets their sh! t together. I’ll never be coming back here again. BAD FOOD, BAD SERVICE, BAD PLACE TO JUST BE IN.

We had our pizza delivered but the pizza was not fully cooked. The veges were hard and the pizza sauce was warm, not hot. I didn’t think anyone can get pizza wrong. We usually go to Mountain Mikes when we crave pizza but they completely missed the mark today. They didn’t even give us cheese or pepper, WTF?
On the bright side, they delivered the pizza earlier than promised.

I give them a 5 star. They were friendly, clean they made my pizza the way I liked it. My sister got the sampler and it was good and so was my pizza. I don’t know why they have only a three star? When I ordered it to eat their they made it fast and fresh ingredients. I have a new pizza stop.

I have mixed feelings about this place. I mean the pizza is good (that is the only thing I order from this place) and I always get delivery. I never have eaten at this place so I wouldn’t be able to tell you how clean or dirty it is or how good or crappy the service was at the register.
Every time I call to order for delivery, the cashier knows what I’m talking about. She gets my order correct and that’s that. Ordering/​delivery time takes a total of 1 hour or 1 hour and half at the most. So keep that in mind when you are ordering for delivery. Not down for the wait? Order online to pick up.
As far as the pizza — it’s good. Better quality than the mountain mikes in Martinez but not better than the mountain mikes in el sobrante! That one is by far #1!
