If I could give this rating a minus 0, I would. Service here is horrible, one woman has an attitude thicker than herself(and that’s pretty thick) and looks at you as if she’s doing YOU a favor by coming in. The only good thing is that it’s a drive-thru.

This Starbucks is horrible!!! It took almost 15 mins for a venti passion tea and someone walks in after 5 – 10 mins after me orders a cappuccino and gets it first and when I asked the girl to cancel my order she says their backed up! Really?!?

My husband was driving through Hercules to stop for some coffee and they sold him some«ugly sweater Christmas cookies» in a box on Christmas Eve for $ 6. They told him they were on special. Then we get them home and discover that the expiration date was Nov. 17, 2015. Seriously?! We are writing to Starbucks corporate.

I am local Herculean resident and I always go to this certain location when I want to get a cup of joe. Starbucks have been my favorite coffee company. I believe that Starbucks have a wonderful food safety and hygiene practice, but my recent visit disgusted me. Full of revulsion! Lack of hygiene practice! This one certain male barista made my drink and I observed him as I patiently wait. From the other side of the counter, I, with my own eyes, saw him eating then he used his bare hands and wiped his mouth. He didn’t even wash his hands and continued to make my drink. The service was slower than usual with these new employees and they were not proactive at all. They were also not as polite. The more I come to this place, the more disgusted I feel! This is not professional! Unsanitary!

It’s coffee people… however, when speaking of this location… it is by far the people who work behind the counter that make this spot special. As with any customer service spot, you will always find attitude with those who believe this is only«temporary»… but the Hercules Starbucks on Willow, posses so many who offer smiles from the counter to the door. they engage in conversation with regulars, establish eye contact and enjoy the time they spend there with guests and themselves… Thank you all…

I walked in and three employees were ‘working’. Noone even greeted me and I stood at the counter for close to a minute while one guy sat there and continued to inventory the food. I ordered my drink and used the restroom then came back out and my cup was sitting empty on a side counter. Noone had even begun to make my drink and there was noone else in there except drive thru orders. My friend even came in and used the bathroom and left. A lot of time had passed and my drink should’ve been made. Very poor customer service here tonight.

Friendly and fast. If you try something new they will honestly take the time to please you with a new drink. It’s clean inside and the drinks are always on point. I’ve never been disappointed here even at five o’clock in the morning.

I have been coming to this location for a long time due to it being super convenient for me. But as far as the service goes. This place is really taking a CRAP. Used to be your average coffee spot but now it’s so SLOW and the staff looks oblivious. The drinks, which have a recipe to follow even aren’t as good here. Hopefully it’s just a hiccup and not going to be the new standard for long.

I can never catch a break here. Either you give the wrong coffee and another Starbucks has to deal with your Erie or you can’t remember to put sugar in when asked. I keep my order pretty simple. No half foam this or that but really you continuously mess up regular coffee orders ??? I’ve had to complain twice at this location. And lines are ridiculously long … On Sunday mornings at 8am I mean why is the wait 9 minutes no one is here !!!

I have been frequenting this location more and more, since its super convenient for me. In store, while they are for the most part nice, they don’t do well at acknowledging waiting customers. There is no sense of urgency for their in store guests. Drive thru is great though!

To management(Ron): used to love coming to this Starbucks but after the remodel have found it to be worse. First less seating for couples to sit and more common area seating– not a fan personally since the days I ate at a cafeteria. Second the staff is getting more chatty with each other than with the customers. You know I must have come here over 50 times in the past year and no one asked me my name. I went to the Starbucks in Martinez(mind you I live in Pinole) and the second time I was there the barista already recognized me and wanted to know my name. Hey it’s not that I need them to tell me their life story but man I’ve dumped how much cash and you still don’t even ask for my name. Ron you were there once and asked my name. I’d rather drive to Hercules or yes Martinez to get a cup and better service.

If you don’t have a car to go through the drive-thru YOUARESCREWED! They completely IGNORE customers when they come in house. I see 4 – 5 people busting their asses for the cars outside while a line of 3+ people are inside being ignored. I get rung up for my drink by an UNFRIENDLY barista who says«I’ll be right with you» then laughs, jokes and socializes with his coworkers and warms a pastry for his coworker who isn’t even in line. It takes 10 minutes(I kid you not, I timed it) for my incredibly easy drink to be made and it was the next in line to be made. I saw my cup sitting on the counter and nobody even glanced at it until I started staring down the barista who rang me up. During this time at least 5 cars were helped in drive thru. Seriously? Terrible customer service in house. The 2 stars I gave are for the times I come through the drive thru.

Worst Starbucks I’ve been to. I’m amazed after multiple visits that this particular location keeps getting worse. Not only do the drinks come out different each time, they ask to warm your pastry however never actually do it. On the couple occasions that I’ve walked in, I can see why the Drive Thru is so agonizingly slow — everyone is crowded around the DT window talking about boyfriends, girlfriends, parties, what they are doing after work, etc. It also looks like the lobby area only gets cleaned about 1X a month. So done with this location — and I hope Management steps up to fix this broken staff and store.
