Cute place. Good sandwiches. Not fond of the potato salad. But I will go again. Just a little over priced.

Went when it first opened and the sandwiches were great. Everything was fresh. The corn beef was fresh and hot and the rye bread too. Couldn’t wait to go back. So today we went and found it was under new management. We still ordered and what a big disappointment. You can get better sandwiches at staters bros deli. My wife got ill from the chicken salad. NEVERAGAIN. Two stars for service

Just ate a delicious turkey sandwich from here and it was amazing! My husband got a turkey and pastrami combo that made my day and the potato salad would easily beat your mothers in a contest. Friendly staff, super clean and did I say delicous? Eat here!

Family stopped in for lunch and we ordered a turkey, a pastrami, and a french dip sandwich with the potatoe salad and noodle soup. Kids ordered raspberry smoothies. No one complained about anything. To start, I only had a bite of the Turkey sandwich, but it was impressive. The sourdough bread was distinctive, the Turkey cold cuts seemed to be of a relatively high quality and there was a ton of meat. the pastrami was even more impressive. The rye bread had that distinctive flavor you look for and the meat was excellent. Not the smokiest pastrami in the world but delicious all the same and better then I’ve been able to find in a long time. The French dip was the star of lunch, though, served with roast beef that was tender and delicious enough to eat without the accompanying dip. I dipped anyway and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Au jus, which was rich and beefy without being overly salty. I didn’t try the soup, but my son thought it was delicious. The potatoe salad was basic, but well executed and delicious. For aficionados, it may come across as boring, but I was thankful that they may have sacrificed some creativity for putting together a simpler, delicious version. Again, I did not try the smoothies but the kids loved them. Finally, the price. What really pushes this over into 5 stars is the fact that I would have felt like I got good value at twice the price. When you think that you could have any one of these sandwiches for less than a big Mac combo at McDonald’s it seems clearly worth it to drive a few minutes out of your way for lunch. I’m not often on that side of town, but when I am I plan on making the End Zone Deli a regular lunch stop.

The staff is very friendly and the place is very clean. The prices were good. I got the Blitz sandwich with cucumber salad and it was AMAZING. My new favorite sandwich spot for sure!

I enjoy a good deli. The location is a little put off but I appreciate that they try some different options on the menu. Some room for improvement but overall is was good to eat at and tasty for the most part. I got the«safety» and it had a unique good flavor for a sandwich. The potato salad according to the«potato salad expert» I was eating with was less than impressed. I got the cucumber option and got exactly that, cucumbers.

I’ve been wanting to try this place and I finally did. I can’t say I had a memorable experience, because well, the sandwiches weren’t that good. The guys behind the counter were friendly but despite the nice tables and plasma TVs, I was really not impressed with the sandwiches. I ordered a turkey sandwich… Needless to say, my taste buds were deeply asleep through out all of the bites, was really not interested in eating any more. The only reason I’m not rating this any lower is because of the macaroni salad. It was good. Not a place id really recommend. Maybe I’ll give it another try sometime in the very distant future.

Small, small, small eating area. Did I mention small? Seriously. Pretty sure only two tables can fit there comfortably. But you know what makes up for it? The sandwiches. HUGE portions. Did I mention HUGE? I’ll say it again. The sandwich is filled with meaty goodness which ranks pretty high in my book. Stays pretty busy which means that other people like the goodness too.

Was there yesterday Unilocal didn’t work so I didn’t get to post then. But I had two combos both made very well… Food was great no complaints will return again. Satisfied customer

I’ve only been coming to Endzone for a short while. Before, I would’ve given 5 stars because the sandwiches were worth the money and packed full of food. Unfortunately since they went under new management, I’ve seen a major difference. I don’t eat pastrami but I always loved the turkey. This last trip, I ordered the Audible which says Turkey, Ham, and roast beef with avocado. Granted the meat was ok but there was barely any avocado. Maybe a thin layer of avocado spread. Needless to say I was highly disappointed and I won’t be going out of my way to go there anymore. On another side note, their potato salad isn’t the same either. It tastes just exactly like the one you can buy at a grocery store.

Admittedly there’s not a lot of deli choices in the High Desert, but The Brass Pickle is by far the better restaurant!

Pretty good stuff, but not as delish as the rest of the reviewers make it out to be. There’s just nothing food wise or atmosphere wise that set it apart for me. I guess I’ll have to try the Pastrami… haven’t tried that yet.

I’ve gone back just once since my first review(we did not eat that time). We enjoyed the food this time because we made it during lunch hour. Everything was fresh and delicious. I’m rarely on that side of town(Oak Hills) otherwise I would try to frequent it more. I hope mom and pop places like this stay around because it is nice to go to a sandwich place other than a subway. P. S. I would have rated this place higher but I am getting constantly harrassed by the owners son(G.D. is his Unilocal profile) for my «honest» reviews of my first visit. After all this website was created for the sole intent of people(that aren’t paid) to review local restaurants and such. I will give a better review once I receive an apology from his son for his childish behavior.

The BEST pastrami sandwich in town. No other deli stands up in quality of food, the price and how much meat the pile onto the sandwiches. Everything is fresh and their cold salads are a perfect addition to their sandwiches. The service is too notch and its a great place for the family! The owner and son are great people and very friendly. I had the pastrami which was amazing. My wife had the chicken salad and she said its her new favorite sandwich. My son had a roast beef made special since he is a picky eater. There were no issues with the special order. If you live in town or you are driving through on the 15 you must stop in for a sandwich. I have tried the Vilelli Deli before and they don’t even compare to End Zone Deli.

Hands down, without a doubt, the best sandwiches I’ve had in my life. Period. If you’re on the way to Vegas from California, make this deli your lunch stop. Starting as Itz A Deli in Lake Forest, CA, their newer location in Hesperia brings the same amazing quality as I remember them: great portions, affordable pricing, and genuine homemade quality. I absolutely love their pastrami sandwiches; it blows other deli’s pastrami away(if you think The Hat’s pastrami is great, you’ll never want to go there again after trying End Zone’s). The other sandwiches are delicious too, and come with great homemade salads. The father & son duo that runs the establishment are friendly and have experience in the business for years. If you’re not from the High Desert, it’s still a worthwhile journey to give these guys a try. If you’re heading to or from Vegas and passing through Victorville, a minor detour to End Zone Deli is one you’ll remember. I’m far away, but whenever I’m in the High Desert area, I’m definitely making a stop at End Zone Deli for the best sandwiches I’ve ever hard. Thanks End Zone! :)

UPDATE: as of 11/07/2013, Endzone is under new ownership. The food is still not bad, but it’s not the same as it was. I went to End Zone about a week ago for the first time, and was very impressed. As all the other reviews say, this place is definitely a contender for the best sandwiches in the High Desert(their competition is Vitelli’s Deli, who is definitely a tough competitor!). The gentlemen who helped us at the counter was very polite and welcoming, and the food was top notch. I ordered the Pastrami on a french roll, and the owner suggested I split the meat with ham, as it was a ton of pastrami. I obliged, and he was right. I severely underestimated the generosity this place has. There really is TONS of meat on their sandwiches! The potato salad was amazing as well, and their mayo is hand-made in the shop. I highly recommend anyone looking for a great sandwich to give End Zone a chance. You won’t be disappointed!
