Love this small place. Good food and good portions. You won’t leave hungry. Great place just to talk and hang out. The chicken fried steak is homemade not frozen and it’s a huge size. The cinnamon roll is the size of your plate. Rudys special the chorizo is amazing.

Had to see what all the hype was about, heard so many good things about this place. I was not impressed. I think one of the reasons its rated so high, is that they give you enormous food portions! The food was ok, but I’ve had better breakfasts at other local places. Also, it could use a good cleaning!

Decided to stop on our way from San Diego to Vegas. It is a bit off the beaten path, but I can assure you it is worth it. We started with Biscuits and Gravy. One of the best I have had and the only time I have ordered it in California. Up until today I thought the only way to get good gravy was to be in the South. I agree the hash browns are perfection. The portions are large, the prices reasonable and the service super friendly. Most everybody there is a local, but don’t worry they will treat you well.

I had no idea this place even existed here! But a friend who lives nearby took me there for breakfast and it was pretty good. I’m always on the hunt for good buscuits and gravy so of course, I tried theirs, along with some scrambled eggs and hash browns. The hash browns were PERFECT! Nice and crispy on the outside, so super happy with that. the eggs were good and the biscuits and gravy were fine… nothing really to write home about and the gravy was a little on the sour side. I didn’t dislike them, but I probably would not order them again.
Service was friendly and the place seemed to be full of regulars. I’d recommend Mile High Café for breakfast!

The food was amazing. It was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. The server was attentive and the the wait we very short. I ordered the fruit instead of the fries, and boy was I glad I did. The burger more than filled me. The fruit by the way was fresh and delicious.

It’s a nice café. We got seated in the very front like in the party room– my nephews were looking forward to seeing the planes. The food was good. The servers were nice.

Amazing food the SOS gravy is amazing and the service was really fast. When you first come in you see the old plane seats I was a bit confused at first wondering if I sit there and wait for the tray table to come down but hey its a fun place. The lady told me she had the best biscuits and gravy in town she didnt lie and I didnt finish them I had 1 piece left but they were filling. Definitely a nice place

Love this place. It is my go to breakfast diner. Ladies are sweet and cute. It’s all based on love here. They treat you like family. Even the loud talking. Loves these ladies. Many times I call in place my order, 15 mins later I pick it up. food is HUGE and always delicious.

I really enjoyed my experience here! This was my first time here, and I felt like a regular. Servers were friendly and attentive, quickly replenishing drinks. Food was delicious! I ordered the big veggie omelet and it was amazing! Half an avocado, plenty of fresh veggies, covered in cheese! The home fries were cooked perfectly! Nice and crispy but not at all greasy like others I have had. Bathrooms are clean and well supplied. The décor reflects the environment of the hangars with airplane photos, etc. very homey and quaint. Can’t wait to come back!

Great potatoes, huge chicken fried steak with biscuits and gravy that is made delicious. Everything from my wife’s lightly toasted extra butter bread to my over-​easy eggs were cooked to perfection (totally rare for a place to even care to get it right), staff very friendly and efficient, seating comfortable, coffee fresh, great burgers…
That’s what it takes to get five stars.

I think our review says it all it’s a Tuesday morning there are only three men in the restaurant; waitress is sitting down with them; as soon as we walk in and sit down she gets up and then takes their order making us wait very rude this place is more disappointing than ever.

Voted Best Breakfast of the Desert and it definitely did not disappoint! Service was great, food came out very quickly and was very good. My boyfriend tried their famous enchilada omelet and loved it. I tried the Duke breakfast and it was delicious. Its a departure from the bigger chain breakfast spots and has a home cooked, family oriented vibe that sets it apart. I know they have their regulars and now we will be too.

Good food, and plenty of it. Nice atmosphere — planes, trains, and automobiles. Yet another high desert gem. You can tell this place has stood the test of time, even tucked away on some desert back road… that’s sayin something. Love these places!!!

This seemed like the place to go for a family breakfast but there was quite a delay
The service just to order drinks took about 20 minutes and when we were ordering drinks we were going to order out food as well but the waiters said «oh no I can’t put in orders right now» when we were finally able to put our orders in the food took like an hour oh and did I mention the waitress was a bit rude… and the food wasn’t worth the wait. Never going back there again

Great place. Love Benny and Michelle. They also have a bar upstairs that’s open til ten. Great bartenders too. Good cold beer and always fun and laughs. Kids are welcome since food is served also, the mile high burger is awesome.

Well, as I’ve been here a few times I figure it’s about time I offer a review…
Good stuff.
Each time I’ve gone I’ve been pleased with the food. I generally get an omelet of some sort… and each time they do a good job. The carne asada omelet could have a bit more «pop» for my liking… but it’s simple enough to add some hot sauce. As many of their customers seem a bit eh… on the older side… I can understand the lower level of heat. No big deal and not a deal breaker. That’s why god invented Tapatio. LOL
Even when crowded, the wait hasn’t been long. (And I HATE waiting.) The staff are in constant motion. Nobody working there is simply standing around.
So…all in all… a really good place to have a hearty breakfast.
Oh yeah… and check out those Bloody Mary’s. ;-)
