IHOP

Middle aged lady that waits on tables closest to the parking lot (east side of the building) and the front of the building was very rude when we mentioned the table and menus were dirty and sticky. It caused us to leave and eat somewhere else. She ripped the menus out of our hand and said «we are usually clean» and then walked off. We left and won’t be back. For the inflated prices, the place should be polished. The sad thing is that they will not learn because they are always slammed with business. They must accept EBT.

We were on our way back home from Anaheim to Vegas and we had to take a stop in Hesperia to fill up on gas. We decided to stop here at IHOP for some breakfast because what we had wasn’t filling enough. After our previous experience with IHOP in Garden Grove, I was expecting possible second-​rate service. And it turns out, I was correct.
To start, our drinks were given to us by the hostess. The. HOSTESS. The lady that sits you down at your table. The waiter/waitress’s job is to give the drink to the customer. Not the hostess. Also, there were people giving us dirty looks when we walked in. I’m unsure as to why, but it gives the feeling of an unfriendly atmosphere. Next, our waitress took about 10 minutes to finally take our order. She doesn’t even give a decent «Sorry for the wait» or «Thank you for waiting. Sorry for the inconvenience.» It sort of is an inconvenience because we still have a few hours of driving to do and you’re wasting our time with whatever you’re doing instead of tending to your customers.
The food was the only good part of this. I ordered the red velvet pancakes with the pancake combo. My mom had ordered the double blueberry pancakes combo. They were both pretty good for a franchise chain.
Finally there was the bill. The bill turned out to be around $ 33. And it turned out that my orange juice was $ 4. Something I could’ve brought on my own was more expensive than my little sister’s milk cup. Plus there’s the tip and taxes.
To be honest, I don’t know if it’s a race issue or something… but maybe it was because my sister and I were the only black people in the restaurant at the time. Maybe that’s why we got such horrid service. I’m making sure we don’t come back here next time. We’d be better off going to Starbucks instead.

When it comes to franchises, IT IS WHAT IT IS. I don’t go in expecting to be greeted or treated like a local (which I am) or to have excellent service… However they are always very friendly when I bring in my rowdy three year old to eat here with my husband and our newborn. The food is always delicious… Who doesn’t like French Toast for dinner? No one I wanna be friends with. Love me some ihop.

The service was pretty bad today. The server didn’t even keep our coffee filled and I think she gave us half-​filled pots with lukewarm coffee. I ordered a chicken fajita omelette and there was no peppers in it, and it wasn’t hot. They did re make it for me at least. Our food took a long time to arrive. Now I remember why I like locally owned diners and not this chain.

Was so disappointed with the service received today. When you spend more time looking for your waitress during your meal is not the service I have been use to from ihop. Last time I come here. Terribly disappointed

Went in with my mother and sister for dinner, excellent food, great service. Will be back.

Stopped in around 11:30 A.M. with my daughter. Place was doing a brisk business but we were seated right away. Server Corrie was friendly and did her job well… but a few more smiles would help.
My daughter ordered raspberry pancakes. I ordered the Mega Monster burger with side salad/​blue cheese dressing. Side salad was served. fresh mixed greens with diced tomatoes. A tad more lettuce should have been in the bowl. however the dressing was above standard fare too often served these days. Daughters pancakes arrived piping hot, fluffy with plenty of toppings (raspberries served on the side as requested) My burger arrived looking good. Bun toasted properly and held up well during eating. Meat patties were plenty big, fresh tasting and cooked medium-​well done which is OK with me. Properly seasoned. Two slices of good tasting cheese were properly melted. Served with ¼ dill pickle (crisp, good taste) and now the only negative part of this review. Leaf lettuce was fresh but just one flat piece. Two small tomatoes were sliced wafer thin and were soggy. Was supposed to come with red onions but they were missing… Boo…When notified Corrie quickly brought on the side. No mayo, 1000 island etc. included but was asked if I wanted ketchup, steak sauce etc. Suggestion. a flavored mayo or two as an offering.
Overall a pleasant experience. I don’t understand why the lack of caring when it came to the lettuce, onions etc. A decent burger (should be for $ 10+) with quality ingredients… but fell short do to lack of the above. Would have been four stars otherwise.

Awesome service! I came in with a friend and my boyfriend after a terrible experience at the Denny’s next door. The service was fast & friendly and the food was tasty. Thank you IHOP for turning a bad morning around!

Driving LA to Vegas and needed to stop for breakfast in Hisperia. IHOP called my name. Not disappointed. The ambience is classic IHOP. Clean and neat. The service is also classic IHOP. Our server was incredibly helpful, prompt and friendly. We shared the caramel bonbon pancake combo — a holiday special. More than enough for two people to share for a breakfast, and all for eight and a half dollars. Such a deal! And they split it in the kitchen for us. No sharing charge like you sometimes get any more foo foo restaurant. Gourmet dining — no. Excellent breakfast stop — yes. Plus free Wi-​Fi and an AARP discount!

I really like this location. The staff is always friendly and attentive. I love their stuffed french toast plates. One of the best ihops I have been to.

Went in with the husband. We decided to go to IHOP for a new try and boy we will never go back. We got seated close to were the servers come out with the plates. One server was nice but had to take a break so we got a new server named Tanya. Not once did we got asked for a refill, we kept being ignored, small portioned plates. anyway we finished and still waited for our tab. maybe 15 – 20 minutes. Walk by us without asking us if we needed anything. Never again. Husband shouldn’t have left you that 5 dollar tip.

Last week I tried the GOLDEN CORRAL needless to say… IT WAS NOT GOLDEN by any means, but in hindsight I really wanted to pop in to IHOP ! Thank goodness I could get my POP ON today !

Friendly staff and clean restrooms. We dined here for breakfast on our way from Cali to Ariz. The place was getting filled up around 8am and the service was very good. Nice view of distant mountains from the parking lot.

My husband really enjoyed his grilled sandwhich! He was highly satisfied And my dinner plate was good! Country fried steak with the yummiest mashed potatoes. Although I had a tiny problem with my fruit the overall experience was good.

I live in Vegas and wouldn’t go to an Ihop there if it were free. On the way home from Disneyland and starving, we went anyway. The wife had a half way decent sandwich. I had a Colorado omelette. I guess the name means it was made in Colorado and driven by bike courier late last week. So gross, I won’t complain as I should have known better. However, so should anyone else that gives this horrific restaurant money and keeps it in business. Shame on all of us.

Food came out fast but I couldn’t get a refill on my drink. Not to mention the staff looked at me like I was the plague since I was alone lol as a mother of2 and a wife, a quiet breakfast alone is a treat… I am not diseased

Good service, BUT very chintzy on the servings.
A little teaspoon of butter for my grandson’s pancakes. When they say 6 pieces of bacon for their double decker blt, they MEAN pieces! I’d say there might have been 3 SLICES of bacon in 6 pieces.
So over-​priced.

It’s IHOP… I’m not sure I need to review the food. Yes, it’s a chain and yes, haters will hate, but I’ve always liked IHOP. You get a free meal on your birthday, and my mom insists on coming to this location every year for hers.
Service has always been friendly and on point, each time I’ve visited. Even last Sunday, when it was packed during lunchtime, we were seated within 10 minutes. I always like ordering the breakfast crepes. The carafes of coffee and the different varieties of syrup on your table are always cool, too. And they always play cool oldies, and I always sing.
They serve create-​your-​own-​pancake-​faces (with different DIY toppings) to keep the kids entertained, and they also have a balloon artist walking around the restaurant, only charging tips. She made my mom a birthday cupcake bracelet that was even scented, she made my boyfriend’s son a snake with a curled tail, a tongue, and eyes, and she made me a giraffe hat! When I ask most balloon artists for giraffes, it’s beyond their skill level, but this woman asked me, «Do you want a standing giraffe, or a hat?» Like a boss. Best balloon artist I’ve ever seen! Unfortunately, the snake was played with a little too much and lost half his body before we left the parking lot, but we still had good fun.
I realize that most of this article was about balloon animals, but my point is that this IHOP has always offered us down-​home, friendly service and good experiences, even while being a chain. I’ll see you next October for my mom’s next birthday!

Went there with my family and kids an had a worse service ever.
Sabrina the waitress who was cleaning the drop lights didn’t say hi but she did ask how many.
After we ordered, we got our soup but no silverware. We were not given any napkins. I had to pick it up from another table.
No one came to us to ask if we were doing ok.
It was not busy at all. There were only 3 tables occupied. Still they cannot give a customer service???
I am no sure if I will ever go back there.
