Tom’s Famous Burgers

Food is really good and well and the prices and portions. Can be card to get a table of you go during the morning

Been here a few times hoping the next would be a better experience, I always leave disappointed! The food is blah, service isn’t very good, and the price is too high for this type of restaurant with no waiters! Basically an overpriced fast food joint.
I’d stay clear from this place, not worth spending your cash on this place.
Staff in definite need in customer service training as well!

Went through the drive thru and ordered fried chicken, when I got home to eat, the outside was burnt and when I cut into it, the inside was completely raw. This is very serious and I will be reporting to the health department because my family could get very sick.

No one bothering to bus tables today… turned around with my family of 7 and walked out because no place to sit

Food is good, but my order hasnt been right yet. The customer service is lack-​luster. Tonight when we ordered two duplicate burritos, we asked for guacamole and sour cream on the side for one and she asked which burrito. What the heck? The food and customer service at the Bear Valley location, put this one to shame. (5 stars for them) Drive the 3 extra miles for the better location.

I guess nothing good ever last when it comes to restaurants. I’m not sure if they thought they were improving it when they restructured the Tom’s restaurants, but they ruined it! Today however was the final straw for me. I will not be eating at Tom’s anymore. $ 5 for a «Tom’s» breakfast burrito that had no resemblance to what they used to be. It was about half the size of its former self and was mostly air when I bit into it. I always order mine with avocado. When I checked my receipt they had charged me $ 2 for half an avocado supposedly! I was lucky if there was even ¹⁄₈^th of an avocado. Not to mention the fact that you can get a whole avocado for about $ 1 at the store. So long Tom’s it was good while it lasted.

The classic double cheese burger was actually really good that and all the fries they give you

Thanks for not getting me a to go box for my burrito I guess talking to the employee on break was more important and when I complained to the manager all I got was What do you want me to do?

There was a long wait in the drive thru. Ordered a French toast breakfast and didn’t come with no butter or powder sugar. Figured they threw all the fixings in the bag but only syrup. Hash Browns were a little under cooked and flavorless. Wouldn’t recommend it here.

These people are crazy. I ordered a patty melt, it comes on rye bread with grilled onions. They charged me 89 cents + tax for the grilled onions!!! Since when do you charge money for something that already comes with the sandwich? It should have been $ 4.49 + tax, but these idiots charged me $ 4.49 +89 cents for grilled onions + tax for a total of $ 5.81, why are they doing this? To me, it’s just another way that they are ripping people off. I have ordered patty melts before from Tom’s #17 and never paid over $ 5.00, I thought «Gee prices are going up again». Didn’t check my receipt until later, that’s when I realized that they charged me for the grilled onions…(stupid), like I said it comes with the onions, so why are they doing this? Be sure and check your receipt before you leave. «RIP OFF ARTISTS ARE WORKING THERE»

Great food ! Always love eating at toms, woulda got 5 stars but takes 30min in the drive through lol, sometimes it’s worth the wait. Yah gotta try the toms breakfast burrito !!!

First off, they can’t even get our order right. My wife and I both ordered eggs (over medium), hash browns and bacon w/​sourdough toast. When our food arrived, the waitress brought us someones else’s food, when we told her that’s not our order, she threw a fit and gave us such a horrible attitude. Mined you, we have already waited 15 minutes. We waited another 5 minutes, for food food to arrive. This time, the eggs on our plates were runny and not cooked properly. Our toast were completely burnt beyond being edible and to disguise it, the cook slapped a ton of butter so we won’t notice. We told the waitress this was unacceptable and and to make the order right, She then proceeded and take all the food back. 35 minutes later, we still haven’t eaten a bite yet. 40 minutes later, they brought our food out, this time they brought us scrambled eggs. Where on the order ticket does it say scrambled eggs. I asked to speak to the person in charge and he gave me a lame excuse that they were really busy, he didn’t even offer us a refund. Apparently, the people that work at Tom’s are illiterate. We had enough, my wife and I just left without eating a bite and a refund. We went to the Spring House Restaurant down the street and enjoyed our food within 10 minutes. Never again will the family eat at Tom’s ever AGAIN !!!

Ok, I have had it with this place!!! Every time we order take out they have never once gotten it right! I have complained to the manager and he offered to make me breakfast! REALLY? All I want is my order to be right! They charge for ranch and I have no problem with that, but when they charge me for 2 and I get none… I am angry. I am a manager at a subway and if this happened once to anyone someone would be accountable! And it better never happen again! I am apauled at they lack of concern regarding customer care. I have felt with this so many times that I am going to write the corporate office and demand that someone explain why this is exceptable business. I want to know who owns this franchise and will speak to them personally about what it is they expect from an employee/​manager except to be there everyday.

Excellent service! The staff is wonderful and friendly. They go beyond and really take care of you. The place is clean, which is a huge plus. The portion sizes are excellent for the prices. The food… well it’s not the best I’ve had, but it is definitely not the worst either. I would definitely return. The environment is also relaxing.

The service was amazing. It is very clean relaxing. It’s a home away from home. The portion size are great. My husband had the steak and eggs n I had the chicken fried steak. Both steaks were well seasoned n cook just right. I am definitely coming back. Thank you Tom’s for a amazing experience.

Foods ok. if you’re in a hurry find another place to eat. Has anyone else ever seen the guy on a horse in Line at drive thru?

We’ve been going here for 15 years. Quality food and great service. The wait is sometimes longer than expected, especially when visiting the drive-​thru, but the food is worth it. Salads, burgers, chili fries are all favorites of my family’s. Shakes are a must, too! You won’t be disappointed with anything in the menu.

The service at this location is amazing. Honestly I sometimes feel that I am dinning at a 4 start restaurant. Every worker is welcoming, great costumer service and I always leave satisfy.

Made a pit stop here out of Hesperia after a spending a day with the grandparents. Not my first choice– but my dad didn’t want fast food. Burger joints are definitely a step up, but I think fast food might have been the better choice.
I went with the chicken tacos. Something that wasn’t way unhealthy, but also something simple. I saw that they were over $ 3 on the menu which made me question if they were a big ass fried flour tortilla. Nope. They were the small corn tortillas that most places charge $ 1.25 for. I still ordered two because I didn’t want a burger or anything else like that.
My food took forever to come out. Pops ordered the chicken wings and my brother ordered a turkey burger. Both came out fast. I was almost positive that mine would come out soon– I mean, they were only chicken tacos. Again, nope. They were finally delivered in two fast food style cardboard plates with a big serving of salsa. Before I could bite in, I noticed a glistening in the lettuce. Upon further inspection, I pulled out a huge piece of hair.
I immediately told the cashier and showed her the piece in question. She seemed irritated and handed it back before saying, «Do you want us to make you another one?» I probably had the most puzzled face on the planet. OF COURSE I WANT YOU TO MAKE ME ANOTHER ONE! I don’t think you charge extra from pieces of hair in your taco, do you? She slammed it in the trashcan and told me they’d bring me another one. 10-​minutes passed. Still no taco. I walked up and asked if they had forgot it. Señorita friendly said, «I told you when it was done I’d bring it to you…» FML. Fine.
Needless to say, taco number two came out hairless. I still don’t know why the tacos took so long. They use their chicken breast for sandwiches and just cube it on the grill. Nothing fancy. Nothing flavorful. I would definitely steer clear of these babies. I should have just went with a burger, those seemed like safe bet. The fries that came with them were actually quite good, thus earning them an extra star. Not too thick, and pretty damn crispy.
Long story short. I wont be coming back here next time I’m in this part of the desert.

Places who serve breakfast all day is always a plus for me and this place is no exception. I made the mistake of not asking about breakfast on my first visit since their menu stated that it’s only being served until noon. I ended up getting the grilled ham and cheese sandwich special which was great — lots of food for cheap.
On my second visit, I asked about breakfast and that’s when I found out that it was served all day… Score! I got the Breakfast Special #2 which is completely customizable — (1) hash browns or home fries, (2) eggs on however you want and (3) white, wheat, sourdough or english muffin. I ended up getting (twice) hash browns, scrambled eggs and english muffin. To say that I was full after my meal was definitely an understatement.
