Sears Department Store

This Sears lacks common sense
I placed a layaway and paid it
On 2÷13÷16 2 weeks early and
was told to pick it up on Thursday
2÷18÷16
I went that day and was told because I
Paid it early that I had to wait a week
And was unable to give me a day to
Pick it up she said maybe Tuesday
So I got online to file a complaint
And could not find any numbers to
Call. I have decided to boycott Sears
Cause this has not been the first time
I’m done!!!

I love me some sears, i always find great clothes on sale! I like the brands. The service is nice. No complaints.

How is this store still in business. Counted 12 cash registers on the first floor with only 2 cashiers. Took me an hour to check out for 2 things. Next time I rather drive to the sears in Aventura mall as they have a bigger selection and customer service is a priority. I will really be surprised if this location is open longer than 6 months.

Went to replace the battery of my suunto core watch, young guy there just damaged the battery cover, take it he used a screwdriver and left the cover with a sharp edge, making a $ 400 watch unusable. Do not use their watch services.

I had the misfortune to go after a big sale this Saturday on a tip from a family member. I was told they had a sale for 2.99. Ok I should have listened to the old saying” if it’s too good to be true, then it most likely is not true”. But I gave it a shot. Yes there where items on racks for 2.99, however what was on these racks I would not use the clean my car. I did pick up a present from the regular priced items and then proceeded to the register. In front of me where a couple of ladies who were making a substantial purchase of over a hundred dollars. The one that was paying had previously applied and was awarded the coveted Sears card, but had completely forgotten the information she gave to the cashier when she applied yesterday. HUMMM! Does this strike anyone as suspicious? Well anyway since she did not remember this information (Her telephone number, her address and yes she did not remember if she used her husband’s last name) she decided to pay in cash. Since the cashier whom I will say moves at the neck break speed of a sloth, had already tried to use the item with the Sears card she had issued the buyer a discount which she was now forced to re-​scan all of the items. This took about 30 minutes. I was already mad when the other lady bent down with her butt facing the line and revealed that she did not have leggings as we suspected but black tights. When she bent we literally saw her underpants. That we the frosting on the cake for this shopper. I left the cashier and proceeded to another cashier in the linen department. Where I waited another twenty minutes for this cashier to ring up, I am not making this up, 1 set of towels.
Some of us just want to come in pick up something and leave before we have to set our clocks back.
Sorry sears I love your appliances and tools but that is it.
