Ok, I have been told by so many people, including family members that Longhorn is better than Texas Roadhouse! Well tonight was my very first time here. We came to celebrate my sisters birthday. Me my mom and my sis. I’ll start with their meals, mom had the Rosemary Cabernet Fillet and loved it! Sis had the Prime Rib and loved it! Not a complaint from either one. I had the 11oz Ribeye prepared medium and it was the fattest, toughest Ribeye I have ever had! I honestly doubt it was Ribeye, and if it was it was of poor quality! If I go to a place known for steak, then dammit I want a great steak! Especially if I’m willing to pay for it! I don’t want some mediocre cut, some less then crappie cut! I expect a good quality choice cut, and that’s exactly what I received from Texas Roadhouse! I was able to see and choose my steak there, but not at Longhorn… oh nooooooooooo! Once an establishment pawns off a piece of crap, poor quality choice of steak, you’re written off bub! Buhbye Longhorn, Texas Roadhouse will see me from now on!

Great dining experience at lunch today… prompt and courteous service, clean, and food was fantastic. Only problem was the loud and obnoxious customers seated at next table… not the restaurants fault though… some people just should not be allowed in public places.

Very good food, even for a chain. The prime rib, which my father had, was very tender and very tasty. The fillet mignon was also very good, which my wife and daughters had. I had the ribeye; avoid this one, which is the reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. Good restaurant.

Reason why I am giving three stars is because the woman’s bathroom was disgusting. When I went in, one stall was out of order, the other stall was out of towel paper and the toilet had water or pee(if you sprinkle when you tinkle please wipe the seat). Of course no toilet paper. Then the third stall toilet was full of toilet paper, etc.(like I said Disgusting) I told a lady I think the hostess in a discreet way the toilets needed to be attended to. She said she would take care of it. Well, they just put up a sign that said out of order. So now down too two stalls, one handicap which was occupied and the other one still had no toilet paper. The floor was trashed. OMG Other than that our food and our waitress(AMY) was great. Also, we got there at 4:30 on a Sunday and they were packed. I would think they would take better care of the bathrooms. Thank goodness I keep wipes in my purse, is all I have to say. I have always loved Longhorn’s, but next time we go I will use the bathroom before we are seated.

I had grilled shrimp. It was served with dipping butter. There was a lot of shrimp. I loved it. The shrimp was served over rice. I didn’t like the red pepper or flavor of the rice. My husband and I shared the trio dessert… triple choc cake, Carmel Apple pie and cheese cake. It was out of this world. The service was excellent and I liked they offered a few good specials.

Great service. Wonderful salad with Dried cherries, oranges, fried Bree cheese and a wonderful blackberry dressing. The bread at Longhorn is always delicious. This is a great lunch spot.

First time eating in a Longhorn and I did enjoy it. Place was swamped on a Saturday night but we did call ahead seating and arrived about 4o minutes later and was seated within 20 minutes. This is a rather small restaurant compared to Texas Roadhouse. The waiter was friendly and we ordered and even though the place was swamped the food came in sufficient time. The bread was good and though I prefer Texas Roadhouse’s rolls and cinnamon butter this was still good. The salad was tasty and a nice size. Bigger than the Roadhouse but the Roadhouse wins on the Italian dressing. Longhorns tasted like it might be from a bottle while the Roadhouse’s seems to be their own. I ordered the Flat Iron steak and it was very tasty. Nicely seasoned and cooked Med Rare as I ordered. I got fries as my side and they were very good. The portion on the fries is about twice what you get at the Roadhouse. The price here was a bit higher than what we usually pay at the Roadhouse. All in all very satisfied and would definitely eat at a Longhorn’s again!

I just had to add this review of 7 pepper steak salad with blue cheese. Best ever, steak, cooked medium rare was perfect, spicy and delicious. Blue cheese crumbles with blue cheese dressing– perfect. If you like spicy steak and blue cheese you will not be disappointed.

I probably made a mistake when I came here. I was in a mushroom-craving mood, so I ordered the grilled chicken and portobello dish. What could possibly go wrong ordering chicken from a steakhouse? I wasn’t expecting to get three microwaved chicken nuggets(okay, to be fair they probably were cooked properly, they were just small frozen meal portions) with a miniature mushroom cap on a tiny plate. It was rather disappointing, but the sweet potato side was tasty. On the other hand, my girlfriend ordered the Prime time burger which came out on a massive platter that was further embellished with wire handles in the shape of longhorns. Way to rub my terrible decision in, Longhorn Grill. To make it worse, her burger was delicious. She subbed the house special macaroni and cheese which was also savory. So seriously, Longhorn Grill, do some housekeeping and get rid of those mediocre menu options. I just got severely one-upped.

WOweeeee. Their steak is VERY cheap for its great quality. They have this $ 12 steak special(no clue what cut) that is worth every dime. The steak and eggs at Denny’s costs 12 bucks and what you order at Denny’s is like a hamburger patty. I do not know how much longer the special will stay on the menu but get it while it lasts! I also had a bit of fish. Again, I totally forgot what kind but I was not very impressed. It was nothing special. Then again, maybe it was because I was too in awe by that medium rare goodness. I was very reluctant to place my order but I have no0o0o regrets. I admit I am no red meat aficionado but every bit of it tasted great. I am a fan. Unilocal has got that right.

I missed the Unilocal event in IL so I’m making my own in NC :-) Not being a meat eater, I have to ask myself why am I at a steak house? TOEATSEAFOODOFCOURSE! :-) This was great food. Great service! Interesting atmosphere… My friend’s mom was very generous and gracious to take us out to lunch after church and it was to LongHorn Steakhouse. The atmosphere says steakhouse. There are western type artifacts all about; chaps, spurs, wooden beams, big house/ranch like chandeliers. Lots of space around our table and at our table. We were seated immediately and enjoyed the services of a nice young woman who seemed more than willing to take our special orders and answer all questions. All the servers worked very hard and were a support to one another. Everyone had something different to eat and had tasty food. I ate a salad that had smoked tomatoes,(I requested that the bacon be excluded and the dressing be put on the side), avocado chucks, cucumbers and of course salad greens. I chose to have an appetizer as my entrée,(I was saving myself for dessert). My appetizer was the shrimp and lobster dip with chips, a little salty, but very good. MY dessert was the grilled lemon pound cake with berries. I was very intrigued with the thought of cake being grilled,(how does one grill cake, away?). But this cake was great! The berry sauce was a wonderful addition as well. I’m sorry I missed the Unilocal event in IL but had a wonderful substitute in NC.

This Longhorn has their act together. They were friendly and the place looked clean. My soup bowl was actually topped off with the cheese melted to a delicious toasty brown as a French Onion soup should be. My meal was prepared exactly as it should be. I wish all Longhorn’s could use this location as their model.

The food was great and the service was greater. I had filet and lobster tail and my hubs had the ribeye. It was all savory and worth every penny. If anything was lacking it was the fact that I didn’t wear cowboy boots…

Fantastic! We are visiting from New Jersey and this is one of the best Longhorn Steakhouse locations we’ve visited. The host and waitress were friendly and upbeat. A breath of fresh air compared to locations up north.

My wife, daughter and I went there last Friday night. The food was pretty good. It was crowded but we got a seat almost immediately. The tonions(sort of like onion rings) was tasty. The cheeseburgers we ordered were big, cooked well, and was tasty. But the food was overpriced.
