Texas Roadhouse

My husband and I came on a Friday night. It was very busy but the hostesses had everything under control. We took advantage of the call ahead seating and were sat shortly after arriving by a friendly hostess. The food was good, but our server Sara really made the whole experience. She was super friendly, funny, efficient, attentive, and on top of everything before we could even ask. It’s been awhile since we’ve received service that goes so above and beyond! I waited tables and bartended for a long time so that’s really saying a lot! Ok, food. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. They could have been on a picture chart for what a medium temp is supposed to look like. I think the ribeye could have used a bit more seasoning but it was delicious nonetheless. The loaded sweet potato left me drooling and you can’t really mess up the cactus blossom or melt in your mouth rolls they bring you throughout the meal. My husband said his Jack and coke was delicious as was my margarita (I’m kind of a connoisseur lol). Not only did we have a fantastic experience, compliments to Sara, but we also spent less than $ 60 before tip. Not bad for an app, 2 bar drinks, and 2 steak entrees with add-​ons! Can’t wait to go back!

My family went on a Saturday afternoon and will NEVER go again. We waited over 20 min for our food to arrive and our food was not hot. Worst yet was my oldest son’s mac and cheese dish looked like they made it from a blue box! The food was bland and flavorless and the burgers had an aftertaste that was best described as slimy. The waitstaff was indifferent when they did bother to show themselves and the music was too loud and the place didn’t look very clean. I was disappointed with the whole experience and felt like I just wasted my time and money. Save your money and go somewhere else that will care to give good service and good food.

Ok so I’ve came here 3 times now and never had good service or good food. It’s loud and dirty. When our waiter came back to the table I told her my food wasn’t good and she said well ok and never came back a different waiter brought our check. That was the last straw I won’t be back.

We were very happy with our meal and experience today. Our server was very good and took very good care of us. I got the 20oz Bone in Ribeye. It was cooked to perfection. We will definitely be going back!

Awesome food! Steak is always cooked perfect! Make sure you get there before the crowd because it’s always packed!

I’ve been here many times and sadly this was not a pleasant experience. We went on a Thursday night at 7 pm. It was a bday dinner so we did call ahead seating for the seven adults & one infant that would be in our party.
1^st prob. As the people got there they would not sit them. They had to wait until everyone in the party was there to get to sit at a table, have beverages, or have a starter. Ok if that’s their policy, but not fun for the people waiting on the birthday girl to arrive. If the entire party isn’t present during regular wait for a table-​they still sit the people who are there. So if you’re better off not using call ahead seating if you aren’t arriving together.
2^nd prob. Our servers have always been friendly in the past but this time our server was rude and snippy with two females in our group. She completely rushed us the entire time. She was excellent about promptly bringing us what we asked for but have much attitude while doing it. For the most part she seemed like she just wanted to take our order, refill our drinks, and get us gone. We had just gotten our food and she was asking if we needed boxes! Rude!!! I hadn’t even cut into my steak by that time. She asked if we were ready for checks. I replied that we were going to have cake and that we weren’t ready for them. People in our group may have wanted a coffee or cocktail to go with cake but didn’t get the opportunity because before the cake was cut our checks were on the table. By the middle of our dinner I was tired of her poor attitude and wanted to leave. I didn’t want to bother with talking to the manager because I was so irritated with her behavior. Having been a server in the past; I know that I would’ve never treated a customer like this. I wouldn’t give anyone in public that much attitude period.
The food we ordered was great. The cactus blossom was perfect. My steak was cooked just tight and my side salad was a decent portion of fresh greens, tomatoes, croutons, and cheese. My husband had a burger that he said was delicious.
Overall this experience was bad enough that we won’t be back to the Hickory Texas Roadhouse for awhile. This place used to be one of my favorites.

Our second visit here. First visit was excellent so we went in for an early Father’s Day meal. The place was jumping when we got there. Found out later it was kids night. Kids eat free with a paid adult entrée. Despite that we only waited about 15 minutes. When we were seated, she left a basket of hot rolls and cinnamon butter and of course, a bucket of peanuts. Rolls are wonderful!
Server was neat and pleasant. We ordered beverages and an appetizer. Drinks came fast but the onion took a bit longer then expected. It was hot crispy and fresh when it arrived though. Highly recommend the onion!
Our entrees did take a long time to come out, longer then they should have. But the steaks were cooked perfectly, the shrimp were delicious and overall we were pleased with the food.
Later on, a manager stopped by the table to chat for a few moments, and check on the food, which was nice.
Overall, it was a second home run and we will be back. Next time I think we will go before 6 pm when they have like 8 entrees for $ 8.99. Definitely a good buy.

DO NOT call ahead, absolute waste of time! Called an hour ahead, I was an hour away on the road. Hostess told me that there was an hour wait and it would be perfect timing. Got there 10 minutes EARLY, I was told it was another 40 minutes more!!! rather go to McDonalds!

I love this Texas Roadhouse! The food is good and the staff is AMAZING! Ralph the GM is so personable which reflects in his staff. My father is a regular and they take great care of him! Rolls are always hot, the food is just like we ordered it, and the staff is awesome! You can’t go wrong eating here!

First let me say that the mgr and his crew need some training. We did the call ahead and still ended up waiting almost three hours to be seated the mgr didn’t try to accommodate is at all. I give them Zero start of I could. We had 20 or more in our group. After we waited 2 hours and seeing 2 other groups of 7 and a group of 11 go before us really made us up set. Needless to say we took our business to Long Horn and they were awesome… we will not return…

Awesome servers and the rolls are amazing with their butter. My first time eating there the waitress brought out samples of their sides and I couldn’t decided because they were all amazing. Food came out quickly and both entrees were amazing.

The food quality seems to be on the upswing. The problem now is the volume of the music has reached an unbearable level. You can complain to management, but they can’t hear you over the music.

Craving some BBQ and wataya know, I run into this shiny restaurant. It was a quick wait for a party of three while munching on the free peanuts and tossing the shells at each other.
I did not come in with great expectations but the server did not know what an Arnold Palmer was so don’t ask for that or you might have to explain that it’s a simple mixed NONALCOHOLIC drink. so easy a caveman can do it… no i do not work for Geico
Other than that minor silliness, the food came quickly and plentiful. I had the pulled pork and I tried some of their ribs. The pulled pork was really good. I was surprised that they did not have a variety of BBQ sauces like most restaurants; I was only offered one flavor which I thought tasted fine. The ribs were slightly overcooked. I had to tug at the meat to get it off the bone but that might have just been a bad batch.
If you’re coming here to get your money’s worth in amount of food, this is yer place! Great portions that comes with many sides.

I love Texas Roadhouse! I havent been to one in years. This was one of my friends favorite spots in our tiny college town. I’m visiting my sister so I dragged her along for nostalgic eats.
The rolls and cinnamon butter have not changed and neither has most of the menu. I ordered fried pickles that were a little salty but still good and crispy, as well as chicken critters with fries and a house salad. Everything was just as good as I remembered.
I told the wait staff that it was my sisters first time there so they brought her a sampler plate of sides: chili, sweet corn, green beans, and mashed potatoes. I had never had the chili and it was so good I was sad about missing out all those years. The staff was so attentive; I was more than pleased with the service. My sister will definitely return (she already has he next meal picked out lol). Hopefully I get back to one before another 5 years passes.

The food, service, loudness, and pricing means I’ll dine elsewhere.

Foot tapping line dancing on the hour by the waitress staff is fun to watch and get you in the mood for some Texas style food. Our waitress, Jessica kept the beverages full and gave us great service with a smile during our dining experience. The hot rolls are fantastic and the food is very good. It’s a bit noisy, with lots of country music but a fun place to eat.

I like Texas Roadhouse, just not this one. I don’t know what it is about this location, but this one is much louder than normal and the people that go here seem to forget to bring any manners.
The last time I ate here, I had to put up with two drunk rednecks and their slutty girlfriends/​wives cussing a poor waitress because she was not bringing beers to the table fast enough. Needless to say its the last time I have ever eaten at this location.
If you want a much better TRH experience, eat at the one across from Concord Mills Mall. Great service each time we have been there and no rednecks cussin’!

Great place to go if your looking for good food and friendly staff. Food and service was great the moment they sit you down, ’cause they walk everyone to their seats with a warm basket of their own made bread…

Ate there one time and that was more than enough. Nothing special about the food at all. Very typical. But the worst aspect of this restaurant is the noise level. If a frat party is what your looking for, this just might be your place. I not looking for silence in a restaurant, but I’m not looking for an animal house either.
