So I must admit that I love the quesadilla burger. I know, I know, it’s probably horrible for me but my friend and I go to this location to get one every few weeks. Lately, the service has been atrocious. It’s as if the waitresses don’t work for tips or something. Not only was our waitress rude but they also are inconsiderate. We couldn’t even get a refill on water. Then, our waitress and another waitress got into a fight in front of our table. Meanwhile, my friend’s burger was the greasiest thing I have ever seen while mine was fine. Who even knows what goes on back there. Also, the very anesthetically pleasing manager came out to harass us while we ate. «First time here?» «No.» «Oh well then we must not have ever met!!» Okay dude, go away and train your waitresses better. They get worse and worse with every visit. We won’t be returning.

Ordered the Whiskey Sirloin for dinner last night. Tasted like an old shoe almost impossible to chew. Won’t be back.

I had a salad at a bar around 1pm on Wed. The weitress didnt pay attention much, was conversating w a client. Plus it took 30 minutes to get the salad. It had a drop of dressing so salad was dry. I wasted my lunch time and had to rush eating it. I was mad. Its a bad place. The tables smell too.

I used to go to Applebees because my kid like it(I do like it too but order only one particular item every time I go). I’ve been going to this Applebees for 9+ years now. Each visit is different experience. From old food to really bad service. Horrible food that they tried to get us to eat. What I CANNOT understand for the friggen life of me is HOWDOYOUDISCONTINUEANITEMTHATWASSOPOPULAR??? The FAJITAS was the only thing my kids and I ate when we went there(my husband always ordered the ribs — and every time we go there… they taste different) This is NOT the first time they have discontinued something that was a popular item. Finally, FINALLY, we’re not going to Applebees anymore… it’s’ worth it to take the ride to Flemington to go to CHILLI’S where the food is so much tastier and a lot less salty. I must say too that the managers there go above and beyond to make things right again. Applebees Corporate — what the hell?

Quality of customer service has eroded completely. Place was 70% empty but the hostess tried to seat us at a crowded little table near the kitchen and reluctantly moved us upon request. Servers need to be taught the art of using proper grammar when speaking to their customers.

Service has significantly declined since this past fall; all the great servers have left, apparently due to the new general manager’s tyranny. This new general manager said he took over last July, and since then, I noticed that portion sizes have gotten a lot smaller – pasta dishes are half the sizes they used to be; I can count the number of fries on my plate; quesadillas have nearly no meat and cheese inside. The last few times I was there, my tables had been filthy and the silverware was dirty as well. I would never complain to a manager about things like that, but I think that is definitely something to take note of. I stopped going there because of its swift decline and suggest all to avoid at all costs. If you ever have a craving for Applebee’s, the Bridgewater one is not too far away, and it is certainly worth the drive.

Place is the worst. Okay if you’re at the bar but waitress service sucks. The food takes forever. Only option if there’s nothing left open.

Applebees is applebees. Decent drink prices and specials. Personally, I think the food is horrible and I would much rather get it from their competition. They used to show UFC fights but not anymore.

My suggestion for dining at ANY Applebee’s is to not order any food~just stick to alcohol. Nearly impossible for them to mess it up. Service is average and so is the food. Drinks are good.

We would go with our son from time to time. You would a lot of bad food for an okay price. Today we went and got very little food and it was expensive, over cooked, and it was a long wait. Never again!!!

Reason #257 I don’t eat at chain restaurants: Applebee’s. I’ll preface this by saying that I only dined hear in order to use a gift card. In hindsight, I should’ve let the card collect dust. This was the worst meal I’ve had in recent memory. Even the side salad was bad and I don’t know how that’s possible. The food is all clearly frozen and reheated, which is a crime in-and-of-itself. The service was ok and the whole place had a palpable unclean feeling. The only positive to this experience was that I did not have to wait, as did other people on a Friday evening, because I chose to sit at the bar. Any restaurant by the name Applebee’s is on par with fast food and should be avoided at all costs.

Got car side to go. Ordered medium well burger, got it home and it was completely raw. Had to cook it myself to make it edible… defeats the purpose and convenience of taking out. Got salad and app sample too. It was okay but their food is extremely salty. Pretty disappointing.

No signs of vegetables or non-fried food that is worth eating. Had chicken shrimp lunch. Shrimp was overcooked by at least 5 minutes. Served sitting in oil and not much else. There are 4 or 5 farmer stands within 5 miles of this place. Totally ridiculous that everything is frozen and then fried. I honestly don’t know why this place is popular except for people who eat food not to nourish their body, but solely to fill their gut… Overpriced too.

This place has the worse service of all time. The reason we even went was to use a GC I had… Well they yet again showed what horrendous service they provide. After waiting 4 minutes to be greated, another couple for our drinks our apps took about 15 minutes. I asked The runner(person who brought our food) for a napkin and he asked if we would like plates, I said that would be great… Well Fast Forward to 7 minutes AFTER we finish eating and NOONE had even come by to ask us how things were. So clearly no napkins, or plates, or even drink refills lmao. FINALLY I ask the 4 girls(hostesses) giggling and flirting with the guy servers to get our server, I explain to her the issue and she tried saying how she was on the back… Yea to do your closing sidework who cares about your tables right? Lol she decides to get the manager, who takes a few minutes to saunter out from the kitchen where 4 servers were standing around talking. I explain what happened and he just stood there. I mention how one server was more interested in refilling and fixing the pamphlets on the tables than the 2 empty dishes on ours… The manager walks away. That server is then talking about me so close I could HEAR him! So I said something and he said and I quote«don’t ever F***ing come back here» to me. Hahahaha a server cursed ATME!!! I was going to tell the manager when he came back with our to go box and check. But clearly not a competent leader it was our original server!!! I told her to tell him but of course she won’t. So before I wasn’t planning on posting such a bad review or contacting corporate. I now am going to… KUDOS Appblebee’s KUDOS!!! Lmfao

They reheat frozen food. A good place for plebian scum, but that’s about it. Avoid at all costs, unless you’re a brain damaged teenager.

It’s Applebees. I’m pretty sure the only thing that really changes from one to the next is the service. And this Applebee’s has great employees.

My wife and I visited this location on a Sunday just as they opened at 11 am. When we entered there wasn’t anyone to greet us. We waited about 4 minutes before the hostess who was too busy drinking her Dunkin’ Donuts coffee walked over and seated us. The waiter came promptly and took our order. We both ordered the same thing including a side house salad plus an order of mozzarella sticks. The drinks came quickly and that’s when it started to go down hill. The salads were good until you got near the middle which hid brown and wilted pieces of lettuce. The mozzarella sticks were nothing special and we had better ones elsewhere. Then, we waited and waited for our meals to show up. Other groups of people,(including one with a screaming out of control child) that came in behind us already had their meals as we waited and waited. The Manager walked past us a few times very quickly to visit people at other tables. As he hurried past us for the 3rd time my wife said«Hey, were still waiting! Where’s our meals?» 52 minutes AFTER we ordered, our meals showed up. The vegetables were water-logged, the mashed potatoes appeared to be from last night and the steaks were just so-so. Before the waiter could ask about dessert I asked for the check so we could leave quickly. The Manager never stopped by to ask«how was everything». It was not worth the $ 71.00 tab I paid! We’ve been to other Applebee’s but this one was THEWORSE! The Bridgewater location is much better. Also the bathrooms were not clean from the night before. There was toilet paper and paper towels all over the floor and the Men’s Room floor was sticky and smelled like urine.

You know, Applebee’s really tries soooo hard. The servers are friendly and helpful, also patient. I have a fear of plastic coated menus. What are they protecting me from? What did the person before me leave behind that required the menus to be pressure-washed in the parking lot at dawn? But I digress. As far as I know, there are at least two VERY good reasons to go to Applebee’s: 1. You will be dining with teenage kids who don’t like big menus because holding them means they can’t text as effectively. 2. The Fiesta Lime Chicken — yes I know this is not free-range, heirloom variety fowl carefully raised on organic feed by tie-dyed local farmers. But oh, is it good! On my recent visit both of the above reasons were present. The food was all cooked as ordered, and everyone enjoyed their meal. I give Applebee’s kudos for really trying to rise above the industrial feel of nearly all chain restaurants. There are several good varieties of Margaritas here as well. Just stay clear of the flavored ones unless you need a sugar fix. I can recommend Applebee’s as a good place to dine with kids, where there’s something on the menu for everyone(even if you have food allergies or a gluten intolerance), the prices are reasonable, the Fiesta Lime Chicken is great, and the menus will survive the inevitable zombie apocalypse.

I go to Applebees at least once a month to watch UFC on PPV. You can’t beat half priced appetizers(boneless hot buffalo wings w/extra blue cheese) after 10pm w/$ 2.50 domestic drafts while watching MMA with a $ 0 cover. I probably shouldn’t write all that because grabbing a table to camp out at for the PPV is hard enough lol — but anyway, back to the actual review: as far as «dining out» goes, I always hated places like Applebees and TGI Fridays. Well, I had actual dinners here twice recently and both times they were actually very good. I got 2 different burgers and they were both cooked well and were tasty. Burgers are usually safe bets with mid-tier chain restaurants, but their other food is good too — I’ve had some of my wife’s fried shrimp and it’s quality! I’ll also stuff my son’s leftover chicken fingers into my mouth hole as well, and those are good as well. The actual entrees have been given respect by my critical in-laws to the point that they now go here 1 – 4 times/week! So I no longer hate on Applebees… I’ll just put that extra leftover hate towards TGI Fridays(former employee & the entrees are consistently horrible there).

It’s an Applebees. I think that pretty much says it all. The food is awful for you and very average. The bar is ok, but can be over priced. Pretty much your typical chain restaurant with no culture. One good thing I would say is staff is good and they have good TVs.
