Playing golf over two decades I have seen my share of golf course clubhouses and their restaurants. Most have a very similar experience and pricing on food and drinks. Not this one. It’s ridiculously over priced to the extent of shameless gouging. When an egg and cheese sandwich on a roll with coffee gets proved at almost $ 10 it’s highway robbery and some more. Today, three of these cost me a small fortune of $ 30. Oh, the round of golf cost me $ 37. Crazy!!! and it’s the last time I buy an food from this overpriced clubhouse. Buyers beware !!!

I took my mom here for Mother’s Day brunch, expecting for the location and price, to have a very nice time. Let me talk about the good things first. The food was very good. There was a nice selection(I think) of food choices. A carving station — which I am sure was probably delicious. Lunch choices — which were probably good. An omelet station, with great ingredients and fast cooks. The service was friendly and good. There were a lot of dessert choices and the brownie was great. Now, here’s what separates this from what would have been a four star review to a now 2 star review. When I first made the reservation I was told there were 4 time choices, 11am, 11:30am, 2pm and 2:30pm. I chose 11:30. I was not told however, that around 12:30, the staff would start rushing us, taking away all the food, shutting down all the sternos and food stations, be running and hustling around to clean everything up and generally be making us feel extremely uncomfortable. Are you telling me, we were expected to slam down all that food in an hour? You have got to be freaking kidding me. The carving station was gone by the time we went to see what they offered. When we asked one of the women shutting off the sternos what was going on, she said they were taking all the food away. I was so embarrassed that I took my mom to this brunch. Which was supposed to be a nice time and ended up during into a rushed, bad experience. Also, the drinks were pretty expensive and at least one mimosa should have been included. This whole thing is such a shame because the restaurant’s view is beautiful, the food was good and it had a lot of potential. But we will never be returning and I will recommend to others to go elsewhere. Thanks for ruining Mother’s Day brunch.

The restaurant has a vaguely men’s club feel, not surprising since it is at a golf course. We were very satisfied with our lunch — Italian wedding soup, caeser salad, crabcake sandwich, bruschetta chicken sandwich. Nice view of the course. Large patio seating area.
