Asian Bistro

Excellent service. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. Flavorful food and great portions. You get complimentary crispy noodles with 2 dipping sauces and also ice cream as your dessert. I will have to come back to get sushi and sashimi!

Food is great. People are nice. Ambiance is lovely. We come back here evertime. We are in Hilton Head.

Very satisfying experience.
5 stars for service. Our waiter Jack was delightful. Upbeat, kind and caring he checked on us regularly, brought complimentary dessert (lychee nuts and chocolate ice cream) and made us feel very welcomed. He shook my hand when we were leaving thanking us for coming in, Wow… compare that to my experience at Hilton Head Diner (see review).
4 stars for food. My sushi was fresh, portions were adequate not large. A bit pricy… not overly so, but I have paid less for sushi. My wife’s chicken teriyaki was ample and very tasty. She had to take home part of her meal given portion size.
Hot sake was good, hot tea was delicious but served warm, not hot.
Complimentary appetizer… crispy egg noodle (?) with sweet and hot mustard sauce was a nice touch as well.
3.5 stars for ambiance. I don’t like harsh lightening, but this place was dark. I mean very, dark. They had spot lightening over tables but the rest of the place was made to feel like it was closed.
Overall, a very good choice for asian food. I’ve eaten some of the best (Chinatown San Francisco) and this was a good asian meal for a restaurant situated on an island off the coast of South Carolina. I wasn’t expecting much, but left satisfied, especially given the outstanding service by our waiter Jack. Ask for him if you eat here.

Restaurant was a modern décor, friendly service and as a nice touch a complementary fried noodles with hot mustard and sweet and sour.
I had the shrimp Kung po and we had general chicken. We were impresses also you got some dessert also!

My husband and I loved it. Every bit of food was devoured. Our server was fantastic. The sushi was fresh and flavourful. I love the fusion mix. The menu is expansive and the atmosphere was perfect for a date night. If this place was my last meal on earth, I would be fulfilled. After we were finished with the deliciousness that sat in front of us, our awesome server brought me a togo drink and ice cream, it was as if he knew what I wanted before I did. How wonderful. The Tom Kah soup, Crab Rangoon, Yummy Crab roll and Watch Man roll. Mmmmhmmmm. I wished I lived here, this would be our spot.

One of the better buffets I have ever had! Not a huge selection but what they lack in quantity of different foods, they make up, 10 fold, in quality and taste. We ate here for lunch and the price is surprisingly only $ 7.99 so, our lunch with drinks for two adults was less than $ 20.00. We will definitely eat here again the next time we visit the island and, since we have 5 more days here, we will try the dinner buffet one night this week

Lunch buffett $ 7.99 was delicious! The sushi was very well done. And the service was very nice and friendly. It was good food for a great price.

I called in to place a delivery order, the woman on the phone was extremely rude to me and kept cutting me off, I had to give her my address three times before she could recite it back to me correctly, and she cut me off before I could give her my condo room number. 10 minutes later, she called back from an unknown (*67) phone number and told me she didn’t get my address and needed it again. Halfway through me telling her my address, she said something along the lines of «I can’t deal with this girl» to her coworker, and he picked up the phone and asked for the address and the situation was resolved within 30 seconds, though he hung up before I could give him the condo number either. Worst customer service I’ve ever received and now 40 minutes into waiting for my food to arrive or somebody to call and ask for the unit number, I’m regretting ordering food from this place.
EDIT: food came after 1 hour, but tastes amazing. Delivery guy is super cool.

We chose to have our food delivered. It arrived right on time! The crab wontons were heavenly. All of the other food was in great portions! We were very pleased.

I went with my wife to this restaurant for the first time and we loved the ambience. They had a live sushi bar. Being vegetarian, we weren’t sure about the choices. But the server greeted us very nicely and gave is plenty of options. We ended up ordering one thai entrée and one Chinese entrée. Both the dishes were as per our expectations. Overall a good experience with good ambience and good food. The server was really polite and had a friendly chat with us. She served us complimentary dessert. I would definitely recommend this place for their food quality and an overall good experience.

Extraordinary and delicious! Jack is the friendliest server of any restaurant we visited on out trip to Hilton Head this year! This is a must visit during your stay.

Wasn’t impressed ordered a to go pan fried noodles and triple delight hardly no beef at all, sauce bland quite pricey for what you got. On a positive note pretty décor.

The food was pretty bad and the service was sub par as well.
There are 5 different fried rices on the menu. I tried asking the woman the difference between them and she couldn’t give me any information and then she got frustrated and told me that I was confusing her and that she’d take my order but couldn’t give me any further information on the rice. So we ordered the $ 7.95 fried rice and the $ 11.95 fries rice. The $ 7.95 fried rice was okay, had some flavor and was a good sized portion. While the $ 11.95 fried rice was just rice, soy sauce, beef and basil with 1 cherry tomato; it was flavorless and had half the amount of food as it’s cheaper counterpart.
The shrunken noodle was pretty bland and very small sized portion. The tom kha soap (that I order often in other restaurants) was BAD as in there were ROTTEN ingredients used to make it. YUCK! Plus we paid for chicken to be added and there was none.
Everything was pretty bad except the beef eggplant, it was pretty good.
Finally, the service. It was not good. The woman failed to give valid information on the menu and when we went to pick up our order they had over charged us for items that weren’t even in our bag and that we had not ordered.
I was going to give it 2 stars just to give them the benefit of a doubt, but after writing this I reconsidered. $ 75 spent to be left feeling unsatisfied is just unacceptable!

We went here on Christmas day and had the worst experience in our life. The restaurant was very busy because probably this was the only place that was open on Christmas day BUT the restaurant gave us the reservation and when we went there there were several people already waiting and the everything was a complete mess.
We waited for 20 minutes and then we were seated and then the real misery began. No one came for 15 minutes and after that the waiter came and took the order and disappeared. She came back 20 minutes with the drinks and then nothing for next 45 minutes. There were people everywhere, the bathroom was a mess as well.
When the food came, the quality of the food was a awful. We ordered Curry, Noodles and Tampura and everything was either undercooked or overcooked, the quality of the food was so bad that we barely finished anything.
Even though restaurant was busy, they kept on taking reservations and take out orders, the food quality was awful, do not go here if you are visiting. Worst place on the island

Loved it. Visiting from NYC and have pretty high standards. Ended up there by accident. We went with the dinner deluxe package and it was course after course and the staff threw in dessert. We truly felt like we were being welcomed into the homes of our family. Kid friendly super good. Will be back

Wow! This place doesn’t deserve 3.5 stars. Amazing spicy rolls with a twist and great service plus price. Better than most places in Vegas.

Love how this restaurant doesn’t close between lunch and dinner so we could arrive for an early supper. However, if you want sushi don’t arrive until after 5pm because the cook wasn’t there until 5pm. The waitress was extremely attentive and friendly. I ordered the drunken noodles (vegetable) and it was delicious not too spicy. Lots of vegetarian options.

Since the entire staff was Chinese, I opted to forego my favorite food. Not a racial thing, just don’t like Thai food with a Chinese flair. Had the jumbo shrimp with candied walnuts. The thick white paste on it was weird, but scrapped off easily.

Chic décor… Tom Yum fried rice was delish… summer roll appetizer was the perfect start! Our server Jack was spot on, he took very good care of our daughter and supplied us with a Jack special dessert! Very nice! We will make it a regular stop while in HHI!
