Fairly priced and solid food. I got the mesquite grilled whole grouper and it was pretty great. It came with delicious corn and a baked potato. Atmosphere is a little chain like but the server we had was very helpful and friendly. Also had the oysters and potato boats, would recommend both.

We were excited about going to Marleys based upon reviews and personal recommendations. Sorry to say we left disappointed. The Supa Dupa Groupa was good, but over cooked. Steak was also over done for what was ordered. Everything else was ok, but nothing special. Unfortunately we didn’t leave feeling like the meal was worth the pretty high price we paid. It was by far the most expensive meal we have had here on the island and no where near the best. Looking forward to returning to Hudson’s for our last night in SC. The kids games and Melvin playing music on the patio were great. If not for them, this would have been a 1 star review.

Oh gosh! I was so excited to visit this place based upon the reviews and the pics. We had a large party so we made a reservation. We were seated immediately. Our server was Luke. Bless his heart bc he was amazing with regards to dealing with us lol we managed to have spilled 2 drinks and move seats 3 times(it wasn’t bc of me). I couldn’t wait to order the sampler that somebody had in the pics. it was ice cold when it came out and it was just awful. They took it back to heat it up but… awful tasting. The peanut butter dipping sauce was not like what you would find at an Asian restaurant it had a weird consistency and weirder flavor. I didn’t like the sauce they drizzled on the shrimp and the chicken was just spicy with no flavor. I pushed it away. My hubby tasted it and agreed it was pretty nasty. My moms steak wasn’t cooked right and she didn’t eat hers.(That NEVER happens) But everyone else enjoyed their meal. I had the crab soup and that was tasty. I would’ve like more crab and less corn and potatoes but it was tasty nonetheless. Luke was great and the manager did come out and apologize. It was just a case of hit or miss with what you order. And we apparently had more hits than misses with a large party

Your taste buds will thank you! The French cut green beans topped with shredded carrots are a perfect side to this entrée! Can’t wait to come back and try more items on the menu! Oh and let’s not forget sitting outside being serenaded by the sounds of Steel the Show LLC! Great experience!

Went here for happy hour. Margarita was terrible… full of ice and definitely mix origin. Stick to the draft beer which was good! We all had various tacos and they were all delicious. Recommend the shrimp and mahi mahi tacos in particular. Will definitely be back.

I was very impressed. I had the mesquite grilled salad, first time I’d experienced this dish and i loved, loved. loved it. My mother(America’s least adventurous diner) got the fried shrimp, it was so plentiful some came my way. They were large, perfectly seasoned and prepared. I guess Mom was right after all. What made this a 5 for me was our waiter Eric. Enthusiastic, helpful, fun, he was flat out awesome! He was so patient with our bill splitting at the end I really appreciated it. Thank you Eric for a great experience. Oh and did i mention they took reservations which was a great help to our party

Though I’ve vacationed on Hilton Head Island each summer of my 24 years, this year was my first ever trip to Marley’s. Boy, was I missing out! This past Monday, my family and I decided to finally check this place out. We went for their early dining special but also enjoyed the happy hour in the bar before we were seated. This happy hour was terrific and I would enjoy coming here specifically for that reason alone. $ 3 drinks, including margaritas and sangrias. They also had great deals on appetizers as well. The early dining menu includes soup or salad and your entrée for just under $ 15. I went with the tilapia and she crab soup. The tilapia was very mild and incredibly delicious. The sauce used was also out of this world. The portion was generous and included mashed potatoes and green beans. The she crab soup was more than your average, it had a spiced kick to it that set it apart from many others on the island. The staff was very helpful and kind. The restaurant itself is very beautiful as well, having an «island» theme, not to mention such an eye for detail. Marley’s is a very colorful place with food that accompanies that theme. We will definitely be back!

I love this place! This is the second year that I’ve been to Hilton Head and this is so far my favorite restaurant. They have an island-y atmosphere with excellent food. This year, our whole group was able to be accommodated. We had about 12 people and the service was still excellent and everyone was very attentive. I got one of their Mahi specials with a mango salsa on top and veggies and mashed potatoes. Everything had a great flavor and nothing was overcooked or dry. I hate nothing more than overcooked fish. The prices are average for a tourist destination but nothing outrageous. Overall, a solid Hilton Head restaurant for the family. When you’re done, pop over next door to their ice cream shop… or to Harris Teeter which is my favorite grocery store of all time.

Yum! We heard great things about marleys and all were correct! I was afraid it was going to a tourist trap based on the ode to the late Bob Marley but to our surprise it was a super fun, flavorful, family friendly restaurant. We went with a fussy party of 11 and the service was fantastic. Our waitress got all our orders correct, and food came out in a timely manner. At one point she spilt a beer on the table and managed to clean it up in seconds flat, had another sever bring a refill and gave us an extra on the house. The food was delicious. We ordered the dirty yuca fries with pork belly and I am salivating just thinking about them. Juicy meat with spices sprinkled throughout. I ordered scallops and they were a little under cooked, but tender. The sangria was slightly watered down, but I shared a pitcher with my mom and aunt. The best part was the outdoor area. After our meal we danced to the live music, played jumbo connect four and Jenga, and enjoyed some freshly scooped ice cream at the stand affiliated with the restaurant. I can totally understand why my aunt and uncle come back here very summer!

We started with the blue corn tortilla chicken enchiladas. They were tasty, but the portion was a little disappointing. I had the chorizo and almond crusted tilapia for my entrée. It was good, as were the mashed potatoes it was served on. Surprisingly, the green beans were the item that exceeded my expectations. They have a huge menu, including a ton of specialty drinks. Everyone else in my party was satisfied with their meal as well. It is a very casual place, so we didn’t expect a whole lot, but it certainly was a nice surprise.

This is a good place to go if you have young kids… lot’s to look at, decent kids menu and they give you a discount on the ice cream at the adjoining stand. For grown ups, well, it’s not horrible. Food was on the bland side and the menu on the website doesn’t match the menu at the restaurant(e.g., my wife was really excited about getting some clams, but when we got to the restaurant — not on the actual menu). Like I said, if you have young kids, it’s not a bad option

Had local red snapper with bean sprouts, banana pepper and greens. Three dipping sauces. My wife is not big on fish and she thought it was nice. Very pleasant surprise as I wasn’t expecting much when her drink came in souvenir coconut monkey head.

We were looking forward to eating at Marley’s but ended up disappointed. The meal started great with a very tasty hummus trio served with plantain chips and tortilla. The hummus was varied and delicious ranging from goat cheese and edamame to black eyed peas. The downside were our main courses. I ordered the«whole» fish of the day which was snapper served with potato and Latin style street corn. The corn was very good; however, the fish had way too much oil/butter and turned a fresh flaky fish into a heavy soggy dish. Similar heavy handedness went with my wife’s order of the Captain’s Seafood Trio with stuffed shrimp, scallops and flounder. The shrimp were good, but again the flounder was soggy with too much oil. On a positive note our server Malisa was excellent and knowledgeable. Maybe it was an off night, but we have had many far better seafood meals in this area.
