Decided to book a last minute appointment with them today and Kathy scheduled me in for 5:30pm. And I know, 5pm is there closing time, but Kathy was still up for the job in cutting my hair and she did a fabulous job.
She made sure that it was the haircut I wanted – I decided to impulsively cut it short– and it was fabulous. I showed her a picture of what I wanted my hair to look like and the end result matched it to a tee.
After cutting it, she gave me tips on how to style my hair and how to blow dry it and everything. Overall, the experience was wonderful. She’s great and it was wonderful to be able to converse with her so easily.
Definitely recommend. The prices are reasonable and their stylists are great! Definitely coming back and recommending to all my friends here in Hawai’i!

This stylists from this group is from the now closed Macy’s downtown. After a year in or so in their new business prices went up and service went down. Additionally unless you live downtown expect to pay for public parking.

I rarely have the courage to cut my hair and I haven’t had the best of luck with stylists. When I booked my appointment with Kathy, I was very apprehensive. I didn’t have a clear idea of what I wanted done, but I showed her a hairstyle that I felt wouldn’t freak me out too much.
She talked me through what kinds of styles would look good on me and what I should really be looking at with face shapes before she started cutting.
She made me feel comfortable while she was working on my hair. And in the end, I had my new look which I love and have gotten a lot of compliments on it.
I would definitely go back to Kathy again. I feel I have finally found a stylist I can trust.

This was my second appointment with Diane and she did a phenomenal job! I had long hair and wanted to go short, but wasn’t sure of the style. I gave Diane a few pics of styles that I liked and told her I trusted her. My hair came out to be exactly what I wanted! I will definitely be a repeat customer.

I live close by and I’m all about convenience. So I stopped in and made an appt. with Kathy. After so many bad hair experiences, I was very worried. I once had my hair turn white while getting highlights and it started to fall out-​so always scary trying some place new. Anyways, it went great. Kathy is very particular, sweet, funny and just a really nice person. So relieved! She was careful not to bleach out my ends (I get really light on the beach), and re-​shaped my grown out icky bob making it look brand new! So grateful. Thanks Kathy –a great cut and color makes me feel at least *ahem* 5 years younger: D.

I have been going to Macys Première Salon in Downtown for several years and was worried when Macys closed that I would need to find a new hair stylist. I was happy to learn that my hair stylist and two others from the Downtown Macys decided to remain in town and work at this cute shop.
